On December 27 2021, SM announced their new female supergroup “GOT the beat” featuring BoA, aespa's Winter and Karina, Red Velvet's Seulgi and Wendy, and Girls' Generation's Taejon and Hyoyeon. “Step Back” was their first single then their comeback after was a year later with “Stamp on It” which btw they did release I guess these ini albums or EPS along w these singles. It has been a minute since we heard of any GOT comeback due to the members’ busy schedule as soloists and group artists but due to their first releases being done in January of 2022 and 2023 they are I guess speculated for some upcoming news by fans. Also, it has been reported that BoA is hinting at retiring from the music industry so there’s that. Lol, so SM and his artists are KNOWN for their “NOISY” music like how YG is known for his “EDM/BEAT” sound. Tbh this song was either a hit or miss for some ppl. I’d say their other song “Stamp on it” has the same sound but some people liked it more due to its more relaxed and stable beat in the most duration of the song. I think you guys do like SM artists for the most part but I do not think a lot of the time yall vibe with the way SM artists musicality may sound which is fine but there are still a lot of SM groups who create diff song genres. These are the members (iK yall know some of them but just for reassurance): BoA: Vocalist, 37yo 2:06 Also, I do want to note that BoA has A LOT OF impact and praise in the KPOP industry. BoA is credited as the “queen of kpop.” She is especially popular throughout all of East Asia and became many of the 2nd gen kpop idols inspirations which times for kpop at that time were way different and BoA is one of the ones who really made a big name for herself in the past until now. She started in Kpop I believe when she was 14yo. I found in an online forum as quoted that: “BoA was huge in a time where Kpop wasn't that big and virtually only a domestic thing. The domestic market was small at the time and couldn't really sustain that many artists and groups. BoA debuted in Korea and did moderately well with her debut album, but it wasn't enough. The 1997 asian financial crisis showed that Korea needed outside investment or they wouldn't be able to grow much further. This lead to companies looking to other markets. In order for BoA to succeed, she had to focus on Japan since their music market was on an order of magnitude larger than Korea's. At the time, relations had started to cool between the two countries and they were both open to doing a cultural exchange. BoA became the very first Korean artist to debut at the top of the Oricon, Japan's premiere music chart. BoA was the first major Korean artist to breakthrough in the Japanese market and paved the way for every Korean act to follow, selling millions of albums in Japan. It showed that it was possible for a Korean artist to succeed in Japan. She sold 4x as many albums in Japan as she did in Korea. From the early 2000s when she debut until IU's debut in 2008, there weren't really any other major female soloist acts with the exception of Younha. However in her prime, SM tried to push into the US market and she was one of their acts. After several years without breaking through into the US market, she went back to Asia. JYP also attempted to break through to the US market in the late 2000s and early 2010s, but also without success. The US market was just not open to Kpop at the time. BoA has sold over 10 million albums in her lifetime, an act that no female kpop soloist has come even close to achieving. Even IU only has about 1.4 million albums sold. BoA's sales figures put her up there with TWICE, the highest selling girl group in kpop. She's so impactful because she's had a tremendous impact on the industry and helped push Kpop outside of Korea's borders. SM was still relatively young at the time and the experiences they learned with her and SES helped them later on with SNSD and other SM groups. BoA is considered a legendary artist in the industry and many idols look up to her; she's been performing longer than many of them have been alive. She doesn't sell nearly as well as she used to, but that's simply because the market has changed and she's gotten much older. A lot of her fanbase has simply moved on due to time.” Taeyon: Leader, Vocalist, 35yo 2:18 Hyoyeon: Rapper, Vocalist, 34yo 4:01 Seulgi: Vocalist, 30yo 2:12 Wendy: Vocalist, 30yo 2:24 Karina: Rapper, Vocalist, 23yo 2:00 Winter: Rapper, Maknae, 23yo 2:30 -Also, Winter was just in a collab with one of YG’s ex-boy group (TREASURE) member named “Bang Yedam” who left the group and YG in 2023. Anyways, they have a collab called “Officially Cool” and it is quite a different vibe and I think yall may vibe to it. An SM artist and ex-YG artist (who was once noted as YG’s vocal prodigy) coming together was something fans loved to see.
Great info as always. We appreciate it. We like all these artists in everything we've heard, it was just the sound of this song that didn't do it for us. But we're always honest with you guys. We think our viewers want that from us.
@@CoachCastTV yes and that’s fine. Tbh a lot of people don’t really vibe to this type of sound so it’s fine. It’s like a lot to handle esp as kpop newcomers. And yes we appreciate the honesty time and time again. 🤍
Back in 2019, SM entered a partnership with Capitol Records to form a supergroup called SuperM, which consisted of members from their top boy groups. They had a strong debut and were relatively successful, so SM decided to try something similar using members from their girl groups. Unfortunately, what resulted was this, essentially bringing an end to SM's supergroup experiment.
Not exactly, since GOT The Beat DID get a Comeback ('Stamp On It' was almost a year after 'Step Back'). It's an on-going project that we may see more of. They were supposed to be sort of a revolving roster.
@jamescurfman3284 "Stamp on It" actually underperformed (less than 20K in album pre-sales), plus it's been over a year and I have yet to hear of any plans for new releases.
@@savoyspecial5731 Well of course you have yet to hear. SM is INFAMOUS for NOT promoting their groups. I had NO CLUE that SM had put GOT The Beat together until 'Step Back' was already out on stage! It was also year between 'Step Back and 'Stamp On It', AGAIN with NO promotion so the comeback SURPRISED me when it happened just as much as the group debut. You have to take SM's lack of promotion into account. BUT, you COULD be right because I did hear about an argument. As the Senior Member, BoA was supposed to be the Group Leader; the entire project was supposed to center on her. But she has NO experience as a Leader because she has been a Soloist her ENTIRE career, she never learned to lead anybody else so she did not want the position! As experienced as she is as Leader, Taeyeon did not want the Leadership position of GOT The Beat because 1) she is already Leader of one group and2) she ALWAYS CAUGHT HELL as the Leader of Girls Generation. She has some mental problems and panic attacks from that stuff now, so she can't handle it. Hyoyeon is a bit of a Hot-Head so nobody wanted her to be Leader (not sure if she would want it herself, especially after seeing what it has done to Tae). That only leaves Karina with any real experience as Leader and nobody from First or Second Generation would trust her with it because she would be bossing around somebody almost twice her age, which goes very heavily against Korean tradition. What does that leave them with? No Leader. That worked just fine for BLACKPINK but 1) they are from an entirely different company with more 'forward-thinking' values than SM has, 2) those four ladies are all of the same generation as each other and trained and lived together before debut and 3) they are a relatively small group. GOT The Beat's Seven Members each doing their own thing is a bit much with no Leader to pull them together as a unit. It would have required somebody else from the Production Team to be Leader material (such as the Director) and then not get credited for it because they are NOT in the group. So if the super-group never has another comeback, understandable. But personally, I would never say 'never'.
@jamescurfman3284 I along with many fans see this as just another cash grab for SM and their western partners. They're overworking their top idols by trying to squeeze out more profits with these projects while they're busy enough as is with their respective groups and solo projects.
When this first came out I was unsure of it but the beat and dance break really drew me in and I became obsessed with it! I also love the lyrics because in Korea women aren’t really allowed to be vocal and defensive. I think it’s a good thing to have women voice displeasure or anger in their music. It’s natural
it took a few listens for this song to gel with me. BoA (Bo-Ah or Boa like the snake) is a dance machine. Her earlier work (before my time) could be likened to Janet Jackson i think, but I really love the choreo from Only One. btw that high note that got Coach's attention was from Taeyeon (SNSD)
*Final project of this SM collab group is "Stamp On It". Give it a try perhaps this one sounds much better for you than "Step Back". Anyway, the one hitting that crazy high note towards the end was Taeyeon, leader and main vocalist of legendary girl group Girls Generation. Please consider doing a deep dive on her discography, Taeyeon is one of the most renowned vocalist in the whole kpop industry (along with IU). I think Mr. Coach will love Taeyeon as I notice he's into good vocals (like Rose of balckpink). If that's the case.... I think you will fall in love with Taeyeon's vocals, as she is Korea's finest, most powerful vocalist. Her vocal agility is no joke. You may consider starting with "Killing Voice Taeyeon" and "Top 12 Taeyeon Emotional Singing". It's insane. Taeyeon has been my ultimate bias (along with IU) since 2007 and several years and generation groups after, that has not changed. Her debut solo single is "I" released in 2015 to start off her solo discography.* *Girls Gen discography (since 2007) is a whole different story, though I advise to start with Taeyeon as she is the leader and main voclalist of the group as well as one of the most renowned, highly regarded in the kpop history. One famous composer said: "Taeyeon sings like a woman who's been divorced 7 times." Main reason why she's a top pick among composers and songwriters as well as veteran singers for collabs and OST's for kdramas.* *Taeyeon and IU holds the kpop industry at the palm of their hands. Creme de la creme* *More success to your channel!*
Don't worry coach, lots of people felt the same way as yours when this was released. Their agency kinda rushed this group and didn't planned them all the way through. It's also ironic that they were supposed to promote "girl independence/woman empowerment" but the lyrics are about them telling other girls to stay away and "step back" from flirting with their men. Not the girls fault though. Their 2nd song "Stamp On It" was better and kinda redeemed the group but sadly that was the last time we've heard from them as they decided that the supergroup experiment is over. They just didn't get the proper promotion, maybe budget as well, and clearly the company has their eyes on other plans and other groups to prioritize. The silver lining though is the members: Aespa, Taeyeon from Girls' Generation, and Red Velvet got to have new songs and albums, as well as Wendy's who finally got to have her 2nd solo album and she's all over the airwaves today.
We are certainly glad to hear some positives that came from this, and you definitely cannot fault the ladies, as we feel they made the most of what they had to work with here.
Please react to Boa !! she’s known as the queen of kpop and made her debut in SM entertainment (home of groups like Girls Generation, Aespa, Red Velvet, etc) in 2000 at 13 YEARS OLD ??? She’s super huge in Japan and made kpop fanous Kpop famous overseas. Some songs I recommend to react to are Amazing Kiss, No. 1, The Love Bug, Only One, and My Sweetie.
SMTOWN is the Official YT channel for SM Entertainment. On other platforms, I have no idea. This was their first thing together and the ladies had to get used to each other. The second time around might interest you more. That next one was on the end-cards on the video. I really hope that you will like 'Stamp On It' better than the way this one hit you. The name 'BoA' is pronounced as if you are talking about a snake of the species 'Boa Constrictor'. BoA has always been a Solo artist right up until this project happened. The company built this project around her, including the name; 'Girls On Top' is a title of one of her big songs from way-back-when. Kim Taeyeon (Silver hair) and Kim Hyoyeon (Red hair) (apparently they are not actually related to each other) are both from Girls Generation. Tae is the Group Leader of Girls Generation and their Main Vocalist. Hyoyeon is the Main Dancer, Main Rapper and Sub-Vocalist of Girls Generation, a real All-Rounder. She's a DJ now and has her own YT channel. She had danced with BoA way back so at least those two knew each other a little bit before GOT The Beat happened. Seulgi and Wendy are obviously from Red Velvet. And clearly you know about Karina and Winter being from Aespa. There is a 'funny' part about this situation. BoA debuted at only 13 years old (August, Y2K, with a Full Album). Being so young, she actually held the record for a LONG TIME as THE Youngest person to debut in K-Pop; that record was broken just last year when somebody beat her young age by a matter of days. Anyway, when BoA debuted in August of 2000, Winter had not even been born yet (January 1, 2001, which is why she has the stage name 'Winter')! Winter's actual name is Kim Min Jeong. Incidentally, BoA debuted before THREE of the four members of Aespa were born. Only Karina was actually around before BoA's debut. lol
That's great info. That's amazing regarding the age differences. Clearly some of the younger ones idolized the veterans most of their lives, and this was probably a big deal to them to perform with them. Appreciate the pronunciation correction.
@@CoachCastTV You are very welcome. :) I personally would be SCARED to meet my heroes and perform with them on stage! I really don't know how the younger ladies managed it. Well, Boa is known to be very kind (at least off-stage), as is Taeyeon. Obviously Seulgi is very kind, being the 'Teddy Bear' of RV, she's a real introvert. And Wendy...well...I have always liked her thoughtfulness for people around her. She's my Ult Bias for lots of reasons outside of her AMAZING Musicality. :)

To add what other have explained, "Girls On Top" (aka GOT) was SM's attempt at a project group comprising the cross generations of SM female artists (still with SM). BoA - 1st Generation, Girls' Generation - 2nd Generation, Red Velvet - 3rd Generation, aespa - 4th Generation. GOT The Beat was the first unit to be revealed at New Years 2022. The assumption is there were plans for additional units in the future, "GOT the Moves" maybe, but with a different lineup. The thing with SM is that their music direction can often be quite experimental and that was on full display with "Step Back." So, your uncertainty about this song is completely understandable. This song was fairly well received though...enough so that it was followed up by a mini-album and second song "Stamp on It" on New Years 2023. But sadly "Stamp on It", despite being a bit more on the melodic side, was less well-received. When New Years 2024 rolled around, nothing was heard from GOT The Beat, so it's possible that they've since abandoned this project. SM has been experiencing many issues on the corporate side as well, so this entire project may have been scrapped.
Interesting. With all this talent you would think they'd have been able to really put out something massive, but we realize music is an art and what one may not like, others may love. In any case, we believe the girls did their parts to perfection.
This super group isn’t my favorite, but after a few listens I did like most of their songs enough to shuffle them in. Ironically I appreciate the chanting and dischordant pitchy strings in the mix which are probably elements that many find off-putting.
I love the song but a lot of people were upset with the lyrics of this song. Having so many legendary women collaborate together and then the song is about fighting over a boy 👎😅
Yeah... This group had so many legends but it really suffered from mishandling. Shame. Please react to more BoA! Her stuff all the way from when she was young: "Only One" "Every Heart" and "Atlantis Princess" all the way to "Hurricane Venus", "Girls on Top, "Disturbance", her American release with "Eat You Up", and more recently " Woman" , "One Shot, Two Shot" and "Forgive Me" all show off her vocals and moves. I highly recommend checking out the "Queen of Kpop" who became a major player in Japan, Korea, and China at the age of 13! She also saved SM from bankruptcy... and is now a major shareholder.
The song is very SM. To be honest SM tend to really go swing or miss and when they miss they kinda miss hard for people. To me, this one was a grower, mostly because these women are pretty much my favorites in their respective groups (or solo-acts). Their other single, "Stamp on it", is more palatable for most people. There was actually a bit of controversy around this specific song as well, due to the lyrics being about protecting your man from another woman, which many felt sort of was not really the way to go when creating a group focused on showing the power of women. The girls themselves were not entirely happy about it either. The mini-album they did after is more focused towards the "showing pride for women" sort of angle, which I also feel suits a little better. Great reaction though, love that you guys keep it honest.
Please react to Taeyeon as a soloist she’s the one with the highhhh note in the end she’s so talented and incredible I love her song INVU( i envy you) also ger killing voice is amazing thanks you❤
You can also tell the difference how they treat boygroups differently. They made a similar group just with boys from popular SM groups and the mv, lyrics, songs are just soooo different. It’s actually pretty unfair. Please react to it if you want to it’s SuperM - Jopping. I mean I love all the boys in SuperM and grew up with their music but yeah, it’s just sad
Do you only react to Kpop-Girlgroups or are you going to check out Boygroups too? Cause there are some boygroups that are firee!🔥 PS: I absolutely love your reactions
Good morning Mrs. & Mr. Coach! SM definitely tried to stretch reality with this one and I also personally feel it misses the sweet spot. I can’t say any of their other efforts with this mix of artists did much better for me but I also have not rejected a single chance to watch them perform and continue to hope that one day this mega-group clicks for me (& for you two, too). BUT… SM has done other collabs in the past and I will recommend my favourite here: Wow Thing (I know Coach will not be able to resist that title but if we need to make a bet on the Whitecaps to move this thing up the list, so be it ;-) The group consists of Chung Ha (formerly of I.O.I and currently a soloist), SinB (formerly of GFriend and currently a member of Viviz), Seulgi from Red Velvet and a young Jeon Soyeon (from (G)I-dle). The mv dropped on September 28, 2018, just four and a half months after (G)I-dle’s debut. Not sure how/why Soyeon is involved as her group is not SM but she is credited with contributing to the lyrics of the track (probably due to her rap line). The song is bright, upbeat and over way too fast. th-cam.com/video/KR5CtMLuiqQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Jwqm5uNIYfKnRgyu There is also a dance rehearsal/behind-the-scenes clip that has a blooper or two and is fun: th-cam.com/video/2SO-qLst3po/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4GZC3-rfn6sPRDQX Hopefully you will be tempted to see if Wow Thing lives up to its name 🎉 Thanks for the time, energy, enthusiasm and love you put into this! Always nice to see a new video from you two.
Hmm, felt like this one was composed in a board room. Or maybe as a tiktok highlight reel. There were so many wonderful moments, too. A bit of a shame. Skimming the comments it seems the lyrics were about girls fighting over a boy? That's rather insulting to these All Stars, imo. "Step back.. silly girl..." gonna have to push that kinda BS back to 1998.
LOL, yeah, a lot of the sounds didn't seem to go together, which unfortunately seems a waste of this amazing talent. No doubt they were a team of all-stars.
@@CoachCastTV There is actually an extremely popular fan cam of Winter doing this song. She seems to be holding back laughter like she knows it’s bad. th-cam.com/video/UAQT5Hgrm1Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=biqYel1btAN6onOL
Love y'all's honest opinion, wasn't for y'all .. noted. To be honest these ladies' talents were wasted. They were not promoted heavily by their company SM nor given the budget that their colleague male super group was given (as you can see they made a performance video not an official MV). *TAEYEON* (Girls Gen / white hair) recently said GOT The Beat will never release other music. That being said .. the group only has one other song called .... *"STAMP ON IT"* • *BoA* is the soloist in tjis group, you should look into her music. She debuted in 2000 at the age of 13 and single handedly brought SM back from the brink of bankruptcy.
Good info. You'd think if they had this much talent all together they'd promote the heck out of it. In any case, we know they are all fantastically talented and yes, BoA is one that we need to do more of at some point, for sure.
@@CoachCastTVYes, BoA for sure! But I want to suggest that maybe react to her newer stuff at least first. Her discography is massive and she has a lot of great older songs and videos too but it can sound dated for today's tastes for many I'd say. Whereas her recent stuff (from like 2015 onwards) is diamond after diamond and more certain to be liked by a more modern listener. So I'd start with her more modern stuff and when you notice how amazing she is, you will be able to appreciate her older stuff more easily.
@@ICyrusQI Appreciate the guidance. First time we heard her was in the "Time After Time" with Wendy and NingNing and she was outstanding. She impressed again here.
@@CoachCastTV She's the entire package. She can do any genre. She has an absolutely unique voice/tone and amazing vocals in every song where she takes the genre or style of the song and owns it. On top of that her visuals from choreographies to the actual dancing (she's an amazing dancer) and to the production of the music videos is always golden. AND on top of that, she's an amazing songwriter too these days, some of her best songs from 2013 or so onwards have been written / produced fully or partly by her.
I agree. Love all those girls but the song just wasnt my favorite. I think bar has been set so high with K-pop that a rare song that is not a 10/10 sounds off.
I wish it was a proper debut from the start and not just a unit for the company's album. I actually like the song but was taken aback with the lyrics. Didn't follow the "comeback".
Coach getting his first gambling scandal, how cute!! - GOT was supposed to be an Avengers-type group, but SM failed them. Personally I liked the song, but I can understand how not everyone liked it. But yeah, no promotion, sus lyrics (girls fighting over a boy, urrrghh), and when you have a vocal line consisting of Tayeon-Wendy-Winter and you don't use them to its fullest, you did not do your job. Best thing that came out of this project is that Tayeon, the leader of the 2nd generation, took Karina under her wing and helped her actualise her leader-potential!
Not trying to be a hater but you guys havent been reacting fair and are clearly just reacting to kpop for the views the last ariana grande video was a month ago and u have barely even see her good stuff! this channel was better when it wasnt doing it all for the views! you clearly are one of those channels that find out what works best and sticks to it and in your case thats just using kpop in almost every video
Thanks for the comment. However, just wanted to clarify a couple things for the sake of accuracy. Of the last 8 videos posted on the channel, 3 were K-pop. That's less than half, and none were the same artist. Of the scheduled videos this week for the next 6 days, 2 are K-pop. That will be 5 out of 14 videos that are K-pop, that's hardly "almost every video". Ariana's playlist is one of the largest on our channel. It's true, we don't have time to do every artist at a really high number. We don't view it as reacting to industries or genres but rather individual artists. There are a lot of K-pop artists we like. There are also a lot of rock and metal artists we like. As we do more reactions to more artists, it leaves even less time to do each artist, no matter who they are. We'll always do Ariana, but we'll also do other artists as well. We don't set quotas, we just do what we feel like at the time. We knew going into this we'll never make everyone happy. Pretty much every artist we've ever reacted to someone says we don't do enough of their material. LOL If we were doing it for the views, we'd not be doing the obscure K-pop artists, the J. Cole, the older classic rock/metal, all of which get very few views. If we did Nightwish, BabyMonster, BabyMetal, and BLACKPINK only, we'd blow the doors off it. Heck, we could be a Nightwish only channel and get triple the views we get now. Their videos always get lots of views. We've never been solely about views, but about discovering new music. Having said that, it doesn't make much sense to have a TH-cam channel if you don't want anyone to watch it. We appreciate your viewership and understand if the content on the channel isn't for you anymore. There's simply no way to make everyone happy, unfortunately.

Boa the eldest debuted when the youngest Winter(aespa) wasn't even born haha how crazy is that
That's nuts.
Taeyeon's solo discography is really worth a listen. INVU is surprisingly a song I would consider to be one of greatest songs ever released.
I‘m so sad the producers messed up the lyrics so bad. They wanted so serve girl power but got that
"Back up off my man!" is hardly a controversial song topic.
OR a particularly original one.
Setting boundaries and defending one's interests _isn't_ girl power?
I love this super group!
i think you guys would like chungha a lot, she's amazing !!
SM Vocal is perfect 🎉❤
@@savoyspecial5731 That also would not surprise me at all.
When this first came out I was unsure of it but the beat and dance break really drew me in and I became obsessed with it! I also love the lyrics because in Korea women aren’t really allowed to be vocal and defensive. I think it’s a good thing to have women voice displeasure or anger in their music. It’s natural
Thanks Coach and Mrs.
I get ya. The song that really works for this collab is "Stamp On It." It's fire no doubt. I recommend that M/V.
it took a few listens for this song to gel with me. BoA (Bo-Ah or Boa like the snake) is a dance machine. Her earlier work (before my time) could be likened to Janet Jackson i think, but I really love the choreo from Only One. btw that high note that got Coach's attention was from Taeyeon (SNSD)
Janet is a legend. Thanks for the correction on the pronunciation.
Her debut solo single is "I" released in 2015 to start off her solo discography.*
*Girls Gen discography (since 2007) is a whole different story, though I advise to start with Taeyeon as she is the leader and main voclalist of the group as well as one of the most renowned, highly regarded in the kpop history. One famous composer said: "Taeyeon sings like a woman who's been divorced 7 times." Main reason why she's a top pick among composers and songwriters as well as veteran singers for collabs and OST's for kdramas.*
*Taeyeon and IU holds the kpop industry at the palm of their hands. Creme de la creme*
*More success to your channel!*
Thank you. That's a great quote about her. 😆
I been waiting for this!!! I can’t wait to see how you’ll react, it’s so different. I love the scary production at the start. It’s genius production
yall should check out "midas touch" mv by kiss of life ! it just came out and is so good

New group with 9 or 10 songs. Out of order the video will not make much sense but the song is fantastic. Lots of cool guitar riffs as wel.

But we should have fully expected SM to fail in the Promotion of their own groups, just like they ALWAYS have...
Well why should they allow someone to flirt with their man? It’s fun, not serious.
BoA is a single word, as in the snake or feathered accessory, not three letters.
Got it. 👍
Just last week Teayeon confirmed what I had been suspecting for quite a while.
We most likely won't be seeing another comeback from the group.
I personally would be SCARED to meet my heroes and perform with them on stage!
Coach please react to Taeyeon killing voice she’s so talented
omg I love this!! you should react to some of boa’s solo mvs and live stages (I can recommend you some specific ones if you want)
Sure! We'd love to get back to her at some point.
@@CoachCastTV cool tysm!! whenever you have the time ☺️
some mvs I’d recommend to start off are better, only one (dance ver), kiss my lips, camo, woman, forgive me, and the shadow
some live stages I’d recommend are these ones:
⭐️ the shadow (military ver), (a heads up that for some live stages in japan they are kind of strict on copyright so you would have to put a translucent screen over it just to be safe. I’ll be putting a star next to the japan ones)
my name + spark + the love bug with m flo
⭐️ lookbook (20th anniversary special live-the greatest),
kiss my lips (jazz ver)
boa moto 0814 sbs
I tried putting specific links but it kept deleting my comment.. also hope that wasn’t too many suggestions! I tried my best to keep it low since y’all are just starting out but her discography is so huge so this is like 0.01% of it 😭
@@lotusseaa8808 Thank you. We're in the process of moving so we'll not be able to do reactions as much for the next few weeks (although we have some filmed already to keep content dropping). But we'll keep this in mind as we resume and have time. Appreciate you taking time to leave this comment.
@@CoachCastTV no problem! hope the both of you have a safe move and enjoy your new place! 🤍

@@lotusseaa8808 Perfect. Thank you again. We do appreciate you taking the time.
Please react to Queen Taeyeon, INVU is a masterpiece.
This super group isn’t my favorite, but after a few listens I did like most of their songs enough to shuffle them in.
Ironically I appreciate the chanting and dischordant pitchy strings in the mix which are probably elements that many find off-putting.
Yeah, the strings definitely played a role in it not hitting for us.
I love the song but a lot of people were upset with the lyrics of this song. Having so many legendary women collaborate together and then the song is about fighting over a boy 👎😅
LOL!
Thanks so much. It's certainly a group of superstars, no doubt about that.
Please react to Taeyeon as a soloist she’s the one with the highhhh note in the end she’s so talented and incredible I love her song INVU( i envy you) also ger killing voice is amazing thanks you❤
❤️🔥
Please react to Chungha im ready
You can also tell the difference how they treat boygroups differently. They made a similar group just with boys from popular SM groups and the mv, lyrics, songs are just soooo different. It’s actually pretty unfair. Please react to it if you want to it’s SuperM - Jopping. I mean I love all the boys in SuperM and grew up with their music but yeah, it’s just sad
We've read in the past that boy groups get more attention and money/promotion in many cases.
Do you only react to Kpop-Girlgroups or are you going to check out Boygroups too? Cause there are some boygroups that are firee!🔥 PS: I absolutely love your reactions
We have so much content, including non-K-pop stuff, that we don't have any plans for boy groups at this time. We appreciate you watching!
❤ PLASE REACT TO SHEESH IN INKIGAYO 🫶🥹
I kinda love this song it would be better if not for the lyrics but the beat reminds me of some Beyoncé’s songs like single ladies!
BUT…
SM has done other collabs in the past and I will recommend my favourite here: Wow Thing
(I know Coach will not be able to resist that title but if we need to make a bet on the Whitecaps to move this thing up the list, so be it ;-)
The group consists of Chung Ha (formerly of I.O.I and currently a soloist), SinB (formerly of GFriend and currently a member of Viviz), Seulgi from Red Velvet and a young Jeon Soyeon (from (G)I-dle).

There is also a dance rehearsal/behind-the-scenes clip that has a blooper or two and is fun:

Thanks for this suggestion. It does sound interesting. We appreciate you being with us on this journey!

Don’t know what the writers were smoking when they came up with this song. Wasting all that talent.
That's interesting. The ladies did their parts well. Totally agree if someone doesn't like the song it's not their fault, it's just the song itself.
*"STAMP ON IT"*
• *BoA* is the soloist in tjis group, you should look into her music.
I personally like Step Back... They have other songs tho... Alter Ego, Goddess Level, MALA, Outlaw and Rose... All awesome, by the way...
Reaction red light f (x) please 😢

I agree. Love all those girls but the song just wasnt my favorite. I think bar has been set so high with K-pop that a rare song that is not a 10/10 sounds off.
Good point. We have heard them all in other content and love all of them.
That's great to hear about the mentoring. Such a powerhouse of talent here.
I have never listened to this, great performers but the song was not my jam at all.
Coach can u react the new song of rosé? The name is Final love song pls
Reacted to it a few minutes ago. Need to edit and schedule for later this coming week.
Pin me pleassseeee
LOL
If we were doing it for the views, we'd not be doing the obscure K-pop artists, the J.
