Why? Several years ago 2 of 3 DVD & CD manufacturing plants in Canada shut down "prematurely" thinking physical media was dead. Now it's popular again and we are dependent on importing from plants in the US & Mexico. Now more expensive & longer wait to get new releases or back catalogues into our stores.
Much smaller than expected after frequenting The Archive in CT and seeing pics of the same in Colorado. The used discs being sorted by label to some extent is something I wish the CT store would adopt as theirs are just alphabetical. Thanks for the peek at the shop.
The VS store is my favorite store to go to with awesome vinegar syndrome titles with partner labels which Yellow Veil Pictures being my favorite sub-label. Get killer recommendations on new movies and a great vinyl selection in the basement. The Revue Cinema across the street is a worthy visit playing new and old movies (some on film!)
Those prices are outrageous
Right!
What's typical for Canada though?
Usually we have to import from the US site that can have duties and fees so it isn’t too bad. Especially to have it in your hand the day it releases.
@@themockbustercanada so you're saying these kinds of prices are expected for imports?

Wow, all those delicious titles and editions. Would do anything to visit that store with a chunk of cash in my hands.

I’d love to visit and check out the stock. I doubt with the prices I’d buy anything but still I might find something worth the cost.
What an amazing store, I'd never want to leave. Really expensive though, I'm sure the online prices are cheaper 🙃
Thanks for the tour ❤
Worth it for certain titles and saving on import fees and duties here in Canada
Sheeeit, I know where I'm goin' first when I win the PowerBall. Walk in with a bank bag full of hundreds and walk out with 80% of the store.
Wish I had a store like this

@3:15, those are Kino.
Yep, slip of the tongue.
a very great Vinegar syndrome store but the prices are so high. my wallet and paycheck would dissapear 😂
Wow Cool Place !! 😮
Nice video
the lack of security alongside those prices will seduce opportunists with nefarious thoughts
Very nice video!
Jesus I would come out of there in serious debt.
where is this video store now at?
Toronto
@@themockbustercanada wow it sure would be nice to see them have a video store right here in United States where you can buy the movies
I didn't even know they had a store here. I will be checking them out. Just subbed.
Thank god I don't live anywhere close to this store. Might become bankrupt if I did
Was this filmed recently?
December
@@themockbustercanada Ah... I was going to say, some of those are now sold out and going for a little money.
Thanks for documenting you're visit at VS. I could spend a couple of hours easily in here. Wish they would open up a store in Los Angeles sometime.
Way to $ for me ill give that shop a miss
but great video thanks for showing
Way way over priced :( 😢
vinegar syndrome aka the company overcharging for shit bargain bin titles...very few titles they release are good

I went there with Kyle the other day, insane store.
Sir, is there a WhatsApp phone number for the shop?
