Italian 4th division match. Frictionless antitop versus allround opponent.
Against these kinds of players anti doesn't help much. 🥲

Hey there Andrea! Hope you are doing good. I need a bit of advice right now. Currently, I have Joola toni hold anti-spin rubber and I am considering changing it due to wear taking its toll. I like the rubber and its defensive capability and of course, it's disruption. But I want something with a bit more attacking possibility. Do you think that Dr.Neubauer ABS 2 Pro is a good choice? My research has led me to that rubber, it has the same stuff as the toni hold(perhaps lacking only a bit in defense) but I can do more attacking strokes with it. What do you think?

I play with ABS3 on BH and Der MATERIAL The wall carbon (DEF+) blade and is a very good blade, but i want something a little bit faster. You Stiga Carbonado fells good ? hi,why you choose 2.3mm sponge? I heard that the thicker sponge,the less antispin effect, and more easy make the ball bounce longer.
for your skill level,is it true that thicker sponge means more control and speed?and attack is more important than defence?
also, I have tried both super glanti and ABS. ABS's sponge is definitely bouncer thanglanti(same thickness).they have the same level of frictioness, but less bounce sponge make super glanti easier to drop the ball short.
I try ABS 1.8mm and 2.5mm, 2.5 is hard to make the ball short so my partner is easy to continually topspin loop.

The reason I switched to anti is because I was fascinated by the idea of being able to vary the speed of the ball during rallies by having two rubbers with completely different characteristics. I liked the idea of confusing the opponents. 😄
@@AndreaAschi Thank you for the answer! I had pretty much the same idea to start playing with anti. I like this style pretty much, much more diverse than double-inverted. Additionally that my backhand is not the best. 😂
Hello, I now have an ABS-2 2.5mm overlay. I want to choose a base for it, and I’m thinking about DR NEUBAUER MATADOR TEXA OFF- or DR NEUBAUER MATADOR OFF-, what is your opinion?

Sempre provarci!! Anche io quando era ora di metterla avevo stessi pensieri e dubbi. Dopo neanche 2 mesi di prove estive con l'anti ho fatto piu risultati di prima. Alla fine é stata una scommessa vinta 🙂
L'unica certezza é aprirsi una birra, sia che si usino 2 liscie sia che si usi l'anti. 😁

Hi Andrea, warm greetings all the way from India. Would love to hear your suggestion for an anti spin rubber which will have good disruption effect but can also be used for aggressive strokes also. Presently i use butterfly super anti on an Innerforce ALC. Look forward to hear your suggestion. Thanks

J'ai un antitop car j'ai commencé le ping très (trop) tard. Et à l'aide de tes vidéos, ainsi que de nombreuses heures d'entrainements, je progresse et j'arrive à mieux gêner mes adversaires. En revanche, j'apprends tout juste à tourner ma raquette pour attaquer sur le revers, mais c'est très compliqué. Sinon, je fais une rotation pour attaquer en coup droit, mais je prends beaucoup de risques. En tout cas, je me régale de tes vidéos.

Hello Andrea. What is your favorite anti-rubber for your game? Personally, I prefer using Vortex 2 because I haven't found anything that offers better control yet.

I have not tried it personally but have seen it in action. It is a very slow anti (similar to mine) but it is safer for the opponent. The spin reversal is definitely less, similar to a classic anti. 😉

The idea of playing with short pips continues to fascinate me, but there are important downsides:
- I have no experience with this type of rubber. I would have to play with it for months in an attempt to learn how to use it.
- I would have difficulty finding players to practice with. Unfortunately, people want to practice against regular rubbers. Anti plus pips would be poorly accepted. 🥲

you can try sunflex doctor freeze,not that antispin much,but cheap and easy control.
That chicken wing forehand anti block looks absolutely ridiculous.

@@AndreaAschi it is idd very easy to control. Feels more like a regular rubber to me because it is softer and maybe more dense? I play it on a viscaria clone by SDC blades.

Having to learn Anti spin due to breaking my wrist and not being able to play a normal backhand. I notice on some topspin shot against you, you seem to pull upwards with the bat, I have been taught to chop down on it. Is this a secret tactic?
If you see me doing a certain movement, it's because I've gotten used to it/it's more natural for me to respond that way to certain strokes. There are no secret tactics. 😉
A movement similar to what you told me I do when the ball I receive doesn't have enough speed and I therefore have to impart force with my arm and wrist.

Io da sempre gioco con gomme con durezza media e non ho mai trovato benefici a cambiare. Questa invece è più dura della Z2 ma la sento benissimo...e i top risultano ben più carichi.
@@AndreaAschi ottima scelta, le Bluestorm hanno il topsheet molto morbido, quindi la durezza 50° della spugna è ottimale.
Ho già fatto la scorta di Bluestorm PRO per tutta la prossima stagione. Gran gomma, molto equilibrata.

Abs Evo 2 buddy. Easy to control, the ball bouncing fast with distracted effect quite good

What is the main difference between a-b-s rubber with this sponge compared to SuperGlanti?
Overall, my anti (due to the characteristics of the sponge) turns out to be very slow. This way you can control it easily even on OFF+ blades.
Is it slower than Bahna SuperGlanti ?

@rinforzandott6827 I started to play with anti on the Original Banah SuperGlanti on a Tibhar Nuytinck Blade. For me the control of the rubber seems not easy.
What rubber would you recommend as a beginner anti rüber with great control and possibilities? Wit my forhand I play an off rubber and an offensive topspin oriented playstyle.
