    Both players had a similar style in that they liked to play close to the table and block. I think the deciding factor was Andrea's loops. So many of them were returned long because of Andrea's top spin even though Andrea's loops were not that fast. Andea's opponent is good but made a few mistakes not accounting for the anti.

    Nice match. Have you ever tries the superglanti ? I use it for a few months and I like it very much. I believe it is slower (more balls go on the table) and it inverts more than the ABS (I had the ABS 2 before).

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Steph!
      No, I never tried Superglanti.
      All those who have tried it say that it is the frictionless anti with the most brutal spinreversal 😲

    Ciao Andrea,complimenti in primis per i mal di testa che provochi agli avversari :) Puoi dirmi che setup usi telaio,gomma dritto e antispin in spessore?Anch'io faccio difesa moderna ma con una liscia da chop sul rovescio e vorrei provare la tua configurazione.Grazie continua così

      @AndreaAschi  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ciao Mauro ti ringrazio per le belle parole! :)
      Uso un telaio off+, lo Stiga Carbonado 190, non proprio raccomandato per un gioco difensivo. :D
      Sul diritto uso una Donic Bluestorm Z2 e sul rovescio una Dr. Neubauer A-B-S ma con una gommapiuma molto lenta venduta in Italia da TTSaturn. Questa piuma ti permette di controllare passivamente anche con un telaio cosi veloce.

      @AndreaAschi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi!! I'm glad you liked the video. :)
      They are similar in control but the feeling is different because antispin is played with a thick sponge.
      I use Stiga Carbonado 190 and Dr. Neubauer A-B-S with a 2.3mm pink dampening sponge.
      I'll do an antispin tutorial in the future. Stay tuned ;)

      @@AndreaAschi Look forward to seeing it...i was using yasaki anti-spin with thick sponge before but seeems the opponents do not scare it at all, so i am now using LP (OX) which made me easier to win in some intermediate level tournament...Thanks for your advice but Dr. Neubauer looks pricey for me...any china made alternatives you used it before for recommendation?

    Nice match 👍
    Very well played, sometimes your transition isn’t working because you go back too far from the table and so you have to cut defense with the anti and with that slow sponge this is ineffective the way you cut through the ball. Then they get either high and long or too short into the net.

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Markus!! I'm glad you liked it :)
      Yes it's my fault. I have a bad habit of crossing my legs during my footwork.
      This leads me away from the table and I'm forced to chop...and my ultra slow sponge doesn't help me in those situations. 😅
      I need to try to fix this lack in my game.

    • @markusmaier2325
      @markusmaier2325 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@AndreaAschi if you fix this you won’t need short pips anymore 😉 if you want to train it you can use short pips for a short time. You will automatically stay next to the table. But better way is to stay at the table any ways. You can train that by using elastic bands which you fix at the table and your hip. They will limit your space of going from the table

    why can he push the first ball at 0:0 so flat? shouldnt the underspin ball from his serve pop up after your anti push? did not look like he served no spin. also happened in some other points in the third set

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Nicklas.
      The first service was no-spin.
      Antispin always reverses the spin it is receiving.

    Hello, Nice match! I am amateur player from Poland (you can see my training on my channel). Im playing long chops on my backhand (feint long II) and thinking about trying some antitopspin rubber. I can see that besides of blocking you are also slicing with it. What king of antitopspin rubber would you recomend that is good to play in block, but also away from the table as modern defenders do? Cheers.

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Welcome to my channel. :)
      If you want to try an anti-spin for modern defense I recommend you classic antispin (topsheet has some friction) like Yasaka Anti Power. They have more control than frictionless antispin like A-B-S.

    Does the antispin reverse the effect?

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Pablo!
      Yes, it reverses the effect due to the frictionless surface. 😉

      @@AndreaAschi I thought it would just "stop" the ball to rotate so produce no spin ball. S owhat's the difference with a long people? Thx for your answer tho

    • @418jp
      @418jp 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@pablominnaro3502 Hello, with antispin rubbers 90% of the spin you generate depends of the incoming ball's spin, with long pips (feint long II...) 50% of the spin you generate comes from the incoming ball and 50% comes from your action on the ball.
      So with long pips you can perform more variations of spin (reverse effect, flat ball, add effect...), but with antispin you can perform more variations of speed. And that's why high level players don't use antispin rubbers, at their levels variation of speed isn't enough to win a point.
