Great video thank you. I like the way you get straight to the point without dragging on and on. Looking forward to your testing out review video. Cheers from a land down under 🇦🇺
Thank you Shawn for the time you spent on this video and others you have made. I expect my Avata in a few days and would really appreciate a video on activating and binding the drown to the goggles and motion controller. I was watching another video on this subject but had a hard time understanding some words with his accent and some of the process. Ive always been able to clearly follow your videos associated with my Air2S and Mini 3. Thanks .
I got my charging hub today. My Avata arrived Monday. It took me a while to get everything activated. The directions in the Fly App aren't complete. You have to pair the drone and the controller with the Avata. At least that's the way I finally got everything to work. As with the V2 goggles, the Goggles 2 needs to have the On The Go adaptor connected to the goggles. My tablet and Goggles 2 wouldn't communicate when I used the OTG adaptor on the tablet side of the connection. I haven't flow my Avata yet but I'm looking forward to doing so.
Sean, ***Big issue*** the motion controller may not charge with the battery pack per the manual, LIKE MINE. You’ll need to find an old Apple charging block (the small one) and a USB-A to USB-C cable only to charge it. Nothing else will work, trust me I know. This is a known issue. I spent hours trying to get mine to charge and almost sent it back per the warranty. Please let people know this. Thank you Sir!
I’m gonna make a video about it, I prefer flying with the controller but the motion controller is fun I’ve made a few videos about it with the older FPV drone. I haven’t tried it with the Avata yet
I would consider this drone due to the additional ruggedness but since there's no kit sold with the new goggles and the dual stick controller so it's really a hard buy
I’d welcome how to update the firmware for all the parts using an ios device as I don’t have a computer and have always used the Fly More app to update my Mini 2.
@@AirPhotography ok, thank you so much for the reply, brother! I would love to soon see a video comparison of DJI controllers, and what drones they work with; as well as which of the “old”equipment, such as those who have the old DJI Air units; up to the people who purchased the DJI FPV; compared to the current packages of the avata. A lot of people have bought the DJI fpv combo; and are interested to see if they need to spend the extra almost full $1,000 for goggle and a duplicate motion controller; if there aren’t valid reasons; a lot of them are looking for this info all over forums right now. I for one am considering it…. Want to know more about the goggles and their working with my DJI fpv; and as well as broadcasting to the V2 goggles; etc etc. That way; I think it would get a lot of views because while I know you’ve covered every piece of the above info-that info is found in many different videos. I think this would be a great idea for content for your channels; you are one of my go-to guys when it comes to drones; I appreciate that you interact with the crowd and like comments; and even reply to them. Everybody likes the guy who doesn’t think he’s “too cool”; in fact; the guy who doesn’t pretend to be “too cool”, generally, IS THAT GUY! (The guy who TRULY IS cool!) Love the channel, bro. Thanks again.
Thanks so much. Really appreciate your directness and lack of hype or click bait. Looking forward to seeing you take it for a spin!
Shawn, thanks for doing all the “heavy lifting” on new drone products. Much appreciated.
Very promising combo of a portable cinewhoop, new goggles and the motion controller! Considering to get one soon!
I’ve been really enjoying mine

Great video. Looking forward to your beginners guide for this one

Nice flight and review Sean. Guess you like it. Saw you did not mention the motion controller. Stoked waiting for my BH Photo FedEx day.

yes please do a firmware update please . great video
Love the look of the new goggles. Would like to know more about the built-in adjustable diopters for people who wear glasses... Thanks
I’m actually working on a video about that as I wear glasses I need to for the v2 goggles. These I don’t need to anymore
New goggles looking good, better portability from DJI as always. Looking forward to real world test!
cool drones eya👍

Awesome. Glad to see it came sooner rather then later.. 👍👍
Mikey
Heard awesome reviews about flight performance, waiting for when you get to fly it!
I uploaded my first flight video a day or two ago it was really fun. I think I’m going to really enjoy this drone
Can’t wait for the review
Nice! I just finished recording my channel’s unboxing. Great video as always Shawn! -Have a great night 👍

Does that coily cable for the new goggles work with the original DJI V2 goggles…..? Bc I really hate the cable without the coil.
Thanks!
I’m not sure, but I don’t think so
