The Bumblebee is my favorite EVH.
Super light and has a side output. The nut also is allen bolt-thru so it's seated better and is easier to remove. The only thing it needs is a Dinky neck joint. I don't know why they keep making that block neck joint
Awesome upgrades. I have a 2014 Circles still original. Sounds great. But I want the 84 tremelo.
"Feel Your Love Tonight" is one of the mightiest riffs of the many mighty riffs from the mighty EVH.
I love how you paid real tribute to VH by panning the guitar hard left in your recordings. Great tone man!
I love this guitar so much, I put Jescar Stainless steel frets on it. Feel super smooth and maintenance free for vibrato and big bends. I also shim the neck with maple wedge , now the floyd rose sits better with lower action. I put metal stopper for the bridge for more sustain and snap. The pickup is great . It is the most articulate , clearest and tight sounding guitar I have. Cannot play sloppy at all !

That 84 tremolo is sold out completely. Need to wait diehard guitarist if you're looking for it. Trembucker yes!

noiseless springs are a waste of money all you need is a small piece of foam under the springs I have been doing that since the 80’s there you go

Have the red, white and black stripped series guitar and I did similar mods to mine. Did you have to add neck relief to your guitar when you swapped the floyd for a german floyd? When I swapped the floyd on mine for the German floyd I had to add a bit of relief to the neck and a shim behind the nut. Great playing Great sound!

How did you go about getting a Seymour Duncan in the EVH pickup route? I’ve cut the plate but yours looks pretty factory

What amp/sim? Sounds great. Where do you get the old Floyd?
Thanks Sbrave, I am playing the guitar into a Friedman Smallbox 50 then a Universal Audio Ox. During mixdown, I use UA Effects for the Reverb and delays. Also, check out the links for the old school Floyd Rose.

Did you have any trouble putting in the 78? I ask because pickup has different "feet" than the wolfgang pickup
I had a guitar tech install it. He didn’t mention any issues, I actually installed the trembucker version of the 78.
why is the guitar sound not in stereo, lol, all the way up to Eruption? It was really weird listening on my headphones and really apparent...awesome playing btw

Is the neck on the Bumblebee thin (Charvel-style) or chunky? I have the 5150 version EVH (looks like the old Kramer) and the neck is pretty chunky for a strat.
