How'd you get your tone?
Great upgrades. I built my own BB from scratch, i used a German Floyd with a Dtuna, and the pup is a Dimarzio 59 paf. Yours kicks ass!
They need a whole line of them! I’d love the cracked mirror model.
Awesome upgrades. I have a 2014 Circles still original. Sounds great. But I want the 84 tremelo.

Your right! He had an endorsement with Gibson. Paul says he would sometimes sell the guitars they were giving him to play.
I love this guitar so much, I put Jescar Stainless steel frets on it. Feel super smooth and maintenance free for vibrato and big bends. I also shim the neck with maple wedge , now the floyd rose sits better with lower action. I put metal stopper for the bridge for more sustain and snap. The pickup is great . It is the most articulate , clearest and tight sounding guitar I have. Cannot play sloppy at all !
The modern top of the line Icemen comes with a Duncan Custom 5 in the bridge which is a MUCH hotter pickup than the old DiMarzio Super Distortion. I own both pickups and the difference is clear.
I know Paul Stanley uses the Duncan Custom 5 bridge and the Duncan '59 in the neck. I got the PS60 model and just did the pickup upgrades and so much better.

Didnt know they made an edge series until it was too late and now they are super expensive. So im going to try to do my best to build my own. Would love to know more about that claw and bridge. And also, your tone sounds nearly spot on!! Hopefully you do a rig rundown someday and maybe a tutorial on those songs!

Is the neck on the Bumblebee thin (Charvel-style) or chunky? I have the 5150 version EVH (looks like the old Kramer) and the neck is pretty chunky for a strat.

Could have sworn the PS10 was set-in neck with a sooth feel, not neck through. Probably splitting hairs here. But yeah, the Ibanez website says set-in neck. Unless you got a more exclusive model? Idk.

Paul is a great musician,Ibanez is a 100%,quality product. So together they burn rubber.
How did you go about getting a Seymour Duncan in the EVH pickup route? I’ve cut the plate but yours looks pretty factory

Anything associated with Kiss should be banned. Paul Stanley is, at best, a decent rhythm guitar player but there are thousand of kids out there that play much better than him so why Ibanez named a guitar model after him? To make money at it has always been Kiss' motus operandi. These two guys, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley have shown to kids all over the world the danger of capitalism...it eventually gets to your head which will become infected with self pride and swallow to the size of an inflatable hot air balloon.
all bands are in it for the money.that is their job.people do not go to work for free.the whole music industry is about money always has been God bless kris
@@kristopherl.grahamYou’re right but there people out there that still produce, write, play music for art’s sake. I am one of them. To play music is an art form but unfortunately too many musicians confused whoring as opposed to playing….Kiss is the best example of whoring.
I am a kiss fan and they started with nothing and made a fortune.you cant fault nobody for that.not many bands can do that now.the record companies are the ones that make the money and the majority of bands and singers and I use both of those terms very loosely now are put together and made by the record companies.they are processed like I piece of kraft cheese.what is sad a band like kiss and almost anybody else from bruce springsteen to james brown would not even get a chance now and that is sad.it is all about looks and control by the record companies now.other than a few independent punk record companies most independent companies have went under and bought up.only a handful of companies own everything now.not just record outfits God bless kris
Stupid comment paul took an ibanez guitar and redesigned it to his specifications. Paul has been playing and hits for 50 years .what have you done ?

I love, LOVE that model guitar but I wish people would showcase that it can do more than play power chords on old KISS tunes.
Just listen to Paul Gilbert. He flipped it upside down for his Fireman signature guitar. Basically same guitar, sounds awesome. Hate the shape myself, more of an RG/SuperStrat style myself.

@RokDAWG1 tbh, I don't buy into the whole "pickups make the guitar tone" snake oil thing. There's only so much you can do with bobbins, magnets and wire - EQ, boost, gain and distortion take care of the rest IMO. Same with the whole tonewood argument.

Did you have any trouble putting in the 78? I ask because pickup has different "feet" than the wolfgang pickup
I had a guitar tech install it. He didn’t mention any issues, I actually installed the trembucker version of the 78.
