Funny how I always end up watching these long vids multiple times. I put it on and just listen while I get ready or when I’m at work and then again before bed. I love these vids!
July 2021 and this is an awesome plant shopping vid. Your garden centers have so many awesdome plants. I wish we had more cacti in our area of the country.
K L Years ago, I bought a cactus with a flower on it thinking it was a bloom. It was several years later that I realized it was a glued on flower. Did I ever feel dumb.
Another great video!! I love the Begonia Rexs, like the one you said looks like a watermelon, the colors on the leaves are so amazing, I have like 4 different ones. I like the smaller singular Haworthias also as opposed to the big clumps of them. The variegated fern you got looks frickin amazing!!! As much as I enjoy your nursery tours,. I love your repotting videos where you work with the soil. Also I enjoy your specific plant care tips videos. Can we send plants to your P.O. box? I'm asking for a friend. 😉
The plants you got look amazing, I think you have lots of repotting to do, hope you got lots of soil.Halfway through you showed some bonsai, they were all starters even the junipers in the pots, most of the were not even shaped, but would make a great start though. This tour was really great lots of wonderful plants.I have a new plant project, so will send some pics, however the tree will have a long way to go, can't wait to show you. Have a good one and hope all your new plants are doing well, look forward to your next video.
wow, those vigorously blooming begonias reminded me of my grandma. she had a lot of blooming plants both indoor and outdoor. i wish i could keep them alive. i'd get begonia rex and masoniana :) your variegated fern is gorgeous! and that little plant is so cute^^
I was out driving around when my phone got a ton of notifications in, at the next red light I looked to see if any were from the wife...they weren't so I tossed the phone into the passenger seat. Apparently I hit the notification from youtube about your video, cause right after the light changed and I started driving, you started yelling at me about where you were and the phone had slide under stuff in the seat so I couldn't just grab it and my brain overloaded cause "that's not where I am" and then I finally got the phone and saw you sitting behind the steering wheel, but I was driving. In my head it was all very dramatic, in reality it was probably like a second. For $5.99, I probably would have bought the Janet Craig just to get the pot. That's half the reason I have all these half dead bromeliads.
I so would’ve bought the Boston Firn TOO! I think 🤔 I’m gonna take a drive up there! Hopefully they still have some left 🤞🏼🌱🤗. So nobody get any ideas 💡 lol. Yeah, I’m on my way 🏎 💨. 👏🏼👏🏼. Thank you 😊 Stay safe!
Nice plant haul. I've never seen variegated Boston fern before. The problem is, ferns + me = death to the poor ferns. The only one I've managed to keep alive for an extended period of time is a blue star fern. Anyway, I'd love to wander around one of those random succulent shops - you never know what you will stumble across 😊
I’m still so new to this amazing world of plants. I was wondering how can I tell the difference between Philodendrons and Pothos? 😌 I wonder in one of your next plant tours if you can point out their differences on screen.
As a general rule, Pothos have larger, thicker leaves and stems than Philodendron oxycardium. Pothos grow faster and are more hardy then Philodendron. Philodendron has darker green leaves and is rarely variegated as Pothos is. Their light and water requirements are very much the same.
I’ve been wanting to see one too! I didn’t see any at the nurseries I was at. Maybe there were some at the green thumb, but I didn’t recognize them. I will keep my eyes peeled
I only zoom in on the white plants bcuz im growing an indoor Moon Garden. So far i have: Anthurium Orchids Cyclaman Kalanchoe Crysthemum Peace Lily Roses Cant wait to add to my garden...I really want a Gardenia & jasmine 🌼🌿🍃🌼
I miss green thumb. I get most of my house plants from there. I'm in Az. I have found places to get plants. You from the Oxnard/venture area. I know amazing places.
I love love love all your videos, however, I don't know how you can leave the stores without a harmfull of plants. Keep up the good work from a Canadian friend.
Love this! Love your videos! I was wondering about the Hoya Kerii though at TJs. What is it about that one that you pointed out that you should avoid getting?
Thank you!! The Hoya Kerris sold like that are single leaf cuttings, not fully rooted plants. So it is not likely that they will grow into a plant with a stem 🤥
the cymbidium orchids are supposed to have those kind of “unhealthy” colored pseudobulbs and they’re supposed to be in a finer orchid mix than other orchids because they are terrestrial plants
Hello, fyi, the orchids planted in soil Cymbidium are semi terrestrial. Not all orchids are epiphytes. Note CyMbidium, with the M. Enjoy your posts. Living in Wisconsin, we are about three months out until garden centers open, jealous....
You should have bought the baby whales fin for 6 dollars and you could have sold it. It would have made up for the effort you put in traveling so far for your videos 💞
Always get air plants online. It’s one plant that ships great and you can get them much cheaper and healthier than what’s in stores. I go to airplantsupply dot com, they are based in Florida and my plants always get to me in 3 days, all the way in Michigan.
I really enjoy your videos! I do think I should let you know, saying "t*tem pole" is actually cultural appropriation. Try to use the other common term "Senita Cactus" instead. Becca De La Plants addresses this in her "My Entire Cactus Collection" video.
Thank you for letting me know, I was totally unaware! It is never my intention to offend or appropriate anyone’s culture. I will call it a Senita Cactus from now on :)
Funny how I always end up watching these long vids multiple times. I put it on and just listen while I get ready or when I’m at work and then again before bed. I love these vids!
That makes me so happy!! 😄 i feel so honored oh my gosh, thank you!
Me too I am a Registered nurse and my job can be stressful at time. I like to watch videos before and after work ..it helps me to destress
Some people like huge plants right away but I like small ones that I watch grow.
I am 100% the same 😌 watching them grow is part of the fun! Also more space for more plants lol
@@ErikaLodes Hah yep!

Thank you!! I really enjoy going to new nurseries
Wow that's awesome, your tree is so beautiful
Really appreciate your in depth description box!
Alot of nice plants and reasonable.
Oh wish I lived there! Arkansas doesn’t get a lot of these and shipping just costs so much! Love your videos!
It hurts me when I see live plants all spray painted and glitter thrown on them. 😔 I don’t even know who’d buy them like that. 🤷🏻♀️
Yeah... they’re not really appealing with all those fake colors... 🤥
I agree completely. It’s plant abuse.
I’ve seen places that hot glue flowers onto cactus. I can’t stand that.
K L Years ago, I bought a cactus with a flower on it thinking it was a bloom. It was several years later that I realized it was a glued on flower. Did I ever feel dumb.
The burlap plant hammock is so neat! Now I want one. Enjoyed your all day plant tour.
It is really cool! The plants can just chill 😎 thanks for watching 😁

Congratulations on the totem pole cactus. Great find! I would have snagged that Dendrchilum orchid. Been looking for one.
Thank you Erika another awesome plant tour💚🙃
thank you for this video
You really earned that like on this one! What a long day
Ur personality rocks. Ur a vibe. “Hugs”
When you started singing Watermelon Sugar for the begonias 😂 Great video! I'm glad I am not the only one who will spend all day looking at plants.

I react the same way when I see a bear claws succulent too. 🤎🐻 I will get one for sure❣️
I barely found out about them like a week or two ago & I can’t believe it took so long! They are the cutest 💖
Great video! Love your channel. 💚 -Your plant friend in NC 🍃✌️
when i saw that bear paws on your vlog.. i immediately decided i want one! haha! and hey! i got it! 😅😂🥰
I want to see some moonstone succulents again if possible in a future video. Great video as always! 😊
I’ve been wanting to see one too! I didn’t see any at the nurseries I was at. Maybe there were some at the green thumb, but I didn’t recognize them. I will keep my eyes peeled

Enjoyed watching thank you for sharing.♥️💚💙💛💜
Lovely and fantastic

That huge monstera for $40!? I would’ve snatched that up and figured out how to get it in my car after. Lol
Awesome plant shopping . New friend Ruthie
Thanks Ruthie 😎
Where is your place with good price of plants?
omg girl im from this area and I found 3 begonia maculata at the same green thumb yesterday!!
I need to go back there ASAP 😭
HOW was that red maranta only $7.98! 😭
I wonder if all Costco has that monstera. I want one 😍 even though I just bought two of them lol
Hai dear can you review english ivy and how way to take care they are. So many time i buy that plant and all end up die
Now the real question is...did you go back to Costco and get the GIANT Monstera ????
I didn’t 😭
the cymbidium orchids are supposed to have those kind of “unhealthy” colored pseudobulbs and they’re supposed to be in a finer orchid mix than other orchids because they are terrestrial plants
They are the prettiest orchids ever!! that’s good to know in case I cave & buy one 😅 thanks!
That was a good price on those cymbidiums. They need some cool weather in the winter months to set blooms. In the 40’s will do the trick
Erika Lodes no problem! ☺️
The big orchids at the last store were cymbidiums and are terrestrial
Hello, fyi, the orchids planted in soil Cymbidium are semi terrestrial. Not all orchids are epiphytes. Note CyMbidium, with the M. Enjoy your posts. Living in Wisconsin, we are about three months out until garden centers open, jealous....
They have the most gorgeous blooms I’ve ever seen 🤩 Thanks for the info, I’m new to the world of orchids & have lots to learn!
@@ErikaLodes You are most welcome Erica, orchids are an enigma for most people. There is a LOT to learn.
Omfg that Totem Cactus was such a bargain 😭🤩🤍
Wow how did you not get a monstera from Costco 😭
I don’t know 😭😭 I just thought that I have enough monsteras & moved on 😭
You should have bought the baby whales fin for 6 dollars and you could have sold it. It would have made up for the effort you put in traveling so far for your videos 💞
The first orchid you liked is Zygonisia. It has wonderful fragrance. And don’t need too much of strong light
Your name sounds like areca. Thanks for the video! :)
Hi dear do you have any chinadoll plants or ponytail palms you want to share info about?
I do not have either of those plants unfortunately. But they are both ones that I love to admire when I go to nurseries!
The cacti at Walmart... 😳
🌵👀
Yo can you send me that clearance zebra plant? Thanks
It’s not Monstera’s fault that she morphs into a monster when she gets older 🙂
Always get air plants online. It’s one plant that ships great and you can get them much cheaper and healthier than what’s in stores. I go to airplantsupply dot com, they are based in Florida and my plants always get to me in 3 days, all the way in Michigan.

387👍👍👍 nice video my new friend
I would have grabbed a giant Monstera from Costco for only $40!!!!! 😮😍🏃🏻♀️
Me too and I was hoping at the end of the video that she would go back and buy that😂🙌🏼
I am soooo regretting it 😅
I would've rescued the monstera from lowes for a steal at 13$
My local Lowe’s and home depot NEVER has anything cool and by cool I mean: monstera, string of dolphins, marantas, peperomias, etc.... 😭😭😭
Omg you’re literally in my town can we PLEASE be friends
Ok
I hear Justin Bieber 😍
Hallo
I keep watching these. I feel kinda guilty
