Well no actually the games shift in realism came to a demise after most of the orginal devs left after Year 3. They are only just now bringing back a more realistic look towards new ops after we been asking for it for the past 4 years after only getting fucking zoo keepers with guns as operator looks

Siege has the most weird and twitchy players I’ve ever seen in an online game. One time a teammate messaged me saying to “stay away from him” just cus we both happened to be looking out the same window. I had a 7 or 8 kill match and at the end he messaged me again trying to be cool with me. I have a bunch of random stories like that. I’ll never understand Siege players😅
The game is just not fun anymore, I am sorry but trying to shoot the 3 pixels peeking through a broken floor isn't gameplay.
Makarov is still going strong with his men. Soon he will have actual good writing if he keeps popping up in zanny vids

Interestingly enough, Chief absolutely WOULD have done door-kicking spec ops missions nearly identical to the ones in siege. The UNSC was fighting insurrectionists at the same time as the Covenant, and John has been fighting both since like 15.
Hell, his first ever mission was an infiltration/breach and clear deployment against an insurrectionist stronghold to capture a VIP

Much as I dislike Siege now, its core gameplay is still true to what used to be. Ubisoft unfortunately doubled down on the wrong parts to their tactical, competitive, first-person shooter and went wacky on their aesthetics and operator abilities for the sake of consistent updates and variety to monetization.
Did that destroy my hopes for the game being closer to their E3 demo, and has probably lost 80% or more of their original player base? Yep. Do they continue to do well with this game, and have (more than) made up for the original players they lost? Very likely.
@@LastRookieBullshit comment. Siege used to have better movement, gunplay, map design and operator design. Things like the sound are still crap all these years later. They also downgraded the graphics because pro players asked for it. A couple of years later Siege esport is at an all time low. Barely anyone cares for this game anymore. They just took everything fun out of the game and the stupid balancing team really needs to be fired
@@LastRookie No it isn't, now I just join in a game and gets screwed by some BS special abilities, I am not learning all the stuff I need to watch out for. And when I am defending but gets sniped by someone who pinched a hole in the wall, it's not fun.

I miss old games. Where I wasnt in a gun fight with Homelander Rick Sanchez and Cardi B while my team mate Thanos was snipping from the tower. Though Chief is kinda cool and makes up for a lil bit in Siege.

It’s true! Spartans were originally intended to be used against Insurrectionist forces! Halsey talks about it in Halo 4, which I believe might be the first time one of the games explicitly mentions this. In a summary of her own words, when when the covenant were at Humanity’s doorstep, nobody questioned *why* the UNSC just happened to already have Spartans on standby, or who their original target must have been, if not the Covenant.

I'd find it cooler if this was some kinda rare thing that only happens every now and again. Ever since Fortnight popularized these "crossover" skins, they've been turning up in every big multiplayer shooter. I'm sure Halo Infinite would already have plenty of these skins if they didn't have to make the characters wear armor.

It invariably ruins the aesthetic when you have a player in every lobby running around dressed like a clown in a game that's supposed to be tactical. I myself cheered on Ubisoft when the first Rainbow is Magic event aired. I would punch my old self in the face if I could go back in time.
I started playing siege in 2017 and have never stopped. The greatest shooter ever made, even though it certainly has its issues.

It's kind of baffling that they have team damage, but if you hurt your teammates too often, it disables it. Why not just not have team damage in the first place?
It's supposed to make it more "realistic". However, because Seige is hyper competitive in rank by nature, it became very toxic very fast with friendly fire.
This type of team based shooter often does. As mentioned it's for realism, and also as a gameplay mechanic. It prevents carefree spraying the instant you see an enemy by forcing proper positioning, and you can't just casually throw grenades without thinking either. You are meant to know where you teammates are and play around them.
@@bettyspaghetti3018reverse team damage doesn't really remove that need for caution. Just means you'll get yourself instead of your teammate.

in overwatch2 its hard to even find a person talking in the vc so it's hard to say that's it toxic when nobody speaks the only word that they will type is that you should swap and sometimes that you threw because you didn't switch to a counter 0,001 sec after they swap
