A day later. EUREKA if only I had seen this when I bought my 6400 4 years ago. I have been sewing for nearly 70 years and I am so grateful to you lovely lady. It took me a few times of over sewing but I am delighted not to be using the foot pedal no back ache! I sit closer to the machine so my back is supported by my new chair. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ..and back❤❤❤❤❤
This was fantastic!! I have the Janome M8 now (upgraded from the M7) along with the Skyline S6. I just got a Martelli sensational work station so I can use the M8 on the lifted table to reduce my neck strain. The start/stop features are going to be very important to my sewing now! Thanks for a great video!!
I sew with my stop start bottom due to lower back problems! Thanks for teaching me more about this button!! I love watching you! Thank you so much for all the wonderful lessons!!
Shelagh First i absolutely love your hair. I also love watching your videos as you explain everything so easily. i am a huge Janome fan (have the Janome S5 and the Janome embroidering machine). wouldn't use any other machine. Always wondered what all the attachments could do and you explain it so simply. Thanks so much i really appreciate it.
Hi I'm thinking about getting a Janome HC8100 but I have a question and I can't find the answer anywhere - how does the speed slider work with a foot pedal? Does the slider limit the maximum speed when using the pedal? what is the speed like when on the lowest setting - would it be similar to the machine in this video (and presumably a little slower with the slider all the way down)
Can I ask a question about the automatic needle threader I have had my new memory craft 9850 for a week now and I can’t figure out how to thread the machine with the auto threader I put the thread through but that lever doesn’t press down to thread the machine and I don’t wanna force anything can you help I don’t seem to find any videos on how to thread it with that
Cool tricks - if I need both hands to do free motion quilting, do I use my foot for the start/stop button? A good stretch with my thumb? This is especially true if I am quilting with rulers - any ideas? Thanks!
Great question! We've found that either will work and different sewists have different preferences. We'd recommend giving both a try and seeing which is more comfortable for you.
Seen the button but would never have realised it was so useful without your help. Thank a million. I love your hair too👏👏🧵🧵❤
