Brandon, I enjoyed your reaction along with your insightful observations. I appreciate that you reminded ALL viewers to be respectful with their comments. Anyone can disagree with your opinions but should always be respectful. Many of us Angelina angels also try to remind others on this subject. I wanted to share these thoughts about how we express our affection and approval as it could affect her in ways we never stopped to consider. There's no question that Angelina is very special, and has a strong effect on all of us that is intangible. Her voice, emotion, persona, all contribute to what she brings to many of us in a way that other artists may not. There are some comments that all of us are guilty of making of at times. "Angelina is the best singer on the planet or in the universe!" or Angelina is the best vocalist of all time!" Some angels believe these as fact, and the statements are well intended, but in reality they are individual opinions that cannot be forced on others. If a reactor or non-angel doesn't respond in agreement, some of us occasionally become defensive. I think all of us have fallen into that trap at one time or another. Why is this worth addressing? If Angelina were to be aware of statements like this, it could be stressful for her to try to live up to unrealistic expectations. Most artists find it difficult to live on such a pedestal. Fortunately, Angelina is strong, and has a wonderful support system, but over time, we all have seen some unfortunate and sometimes tragic results of deifying young celebrities. They are just human beings like us, and too much pressure to sustain an unattainable image can possibly have undesired consequences. Angelina should never find herself in that position, and I believe we need to do our part to protect her as always. Over the past couple of years, I have been guilty at times of making some "over-the-top" statements. But I learned that the best way to influence others to appreciate her is realistically and casually, without pressure. Music as an art form is subjective, and people need to follow their own discovery process, and develop their own opinions. Instead of stating that Angelina is the best singer in the universe, perhaps better would be, "I personally have never experienced another singer who moves me like Angelina." Every artist brings something different to the table, and although Angelina brings the most to many of us, let's not put too much pressure on her. That should apply not only to reaction comments, but also to any over the top comments we may make inadvertently on her posts, about her attractive appearance. As Angelina so eloquently expressed in Adele's song, please Go Easy On Me! Peace and love.
Wow! Thank you for noticing! Noticing what? I have watched more than three dozen reactors reacting to this song so far, and YOU are the ONLY ONE who has noticed and caught and commented on the curled "Elvis lip" in her rearview mirror!!!! It's just for a second, but it's definitely there! THANK YOU!!! I was beginning to think I was just seeing things LOL! Brandon, I thoroughly enjoyed this reaction and as you said, I haven't seen you for a while. I'd like to address a few things that came up during your comments, all from a positive point of view. 1. I have followed Angelina for 5 years and have listened to thousands of reactions over that time. I read the comments regularly. I can't tell you exactly why you're getting negative comments as you do but it appears it is a combination of factors. There may be a very small handful of fans who occasionally go overboard but of course I don't know for sure. If it is the case, it is probably the same VERY small group each time. What I do know for sure is that because Angelina is one of the most featured artists in reaction channels, there are a number of trolls that I have encountered along the way who intentionally try to sabotage the comments with negative approaches. It could be some combination of both, but as many others have said, the positivity that Angelina brings to the table hopefully outweighs the negatives you have encountered. I spent my entire career in sales and the majority of encounters were positive. But they were always negative as well but they were a small percentage. I had to overlook them so I could keep going and experience the good things. I think your expressing your feelings about this is a very positive thing and hopefully if there are any naysayers it will stop or certainly be reduced significantly. 2. Your comments about the nature of the cadence of the song obviously is a subjective opinion so I don't really have anything strong to say about it. I like it and I think most do, and the intent was to make this a 1960s vibe performance. The song does follow that theme which is likely why it is as it is. 3. Your analysis is first rate! You are insightful, and your verbal discussions I think are spot on. But what I appreciate as much or more is your verbal discussion in your description. Very few reactors do anything like that and having all of the description and information about the song is very useful, especially to those that are not familiar with it. Kudos to you for that. 4. In terms of whether you continue to react to Angelina, which I hope you do, consider that she is 17 years old and trying to make a name for herself in the industry. She already has a large following on social media and TH-cam, but wants to get much larger of course. Her goal is to spread peace and love to the world through her singing, and I know you have a similar desire. Continued exposure from reactors like you are very important to her and she deserves it. 5. Finally, another factor to consider is that fans become endeared and loyal to reactors who support and promote their favorite artists. A great reaction like you provide is a start. But some extra things would help greatly, both for her and your channel. Thank you for providing a link to the original video in your description. A link to her official channel would also be desirable. Realize that most fans do not know how to best support you or the featured artist. Please encourage them to use your description to find the artist links as well as important links for you and your channel. Suggest they like coming and subscribe to the artist AND YOUR CHANNEL. It doesn't sound like much, but these things help the artist algorithm as much as they help yours when they do the same for you. It should be win-win for artist and reactor. You are correct that the song you just listened to is an original that came out a month ago. Angelina is releasing a new EP likely within 30 days that will have at least five new songs on it all originals! It will be especially of interest to you and very exciting for the fans to watch and listen. It is her first album with Republic Records. I have rambled on enough but hopefully this information is useful for you, and speaking on behalf of the fans, I know we would like to continue seeing you active with Angelina reactions. Absolutely ! My impression is that as rule Angelina's fans are generally polite and nice, but of course some can be excessive and various directions and too defensive in response to the slightest "criticism"... but I think they are few and far between... though as say, the mix will change as she becomes better known

One thing you will get from Angelina's strongly dedicated fans (Angels) is that we are very proud, supportive and protective of her. Many of us have been watching her videos for years and many of them, hundreds of times. I have seen every reactor complain of people making unkind comments. You should ignore those comments and understand that your reactions are appreciated. Not to be unkind to you but I will say I believe you stay in the negative frame of mind when you are doing the reaction. You griped about it being called a "visualizer" before the video even started. You do seem to have some anger problems with trivial things that really mean nothing to other people. Don't forget as you said in your rant that you don't have to do reactions to Angelina's music and it is true, also we don't have to watch your reactions. Thank you for your comments. You said some really interesting things. Being in a public arena there will be an exposure to various opinions and reactions. I was criticized for once referring to Angelina as A.J. I replied to that criticism in a courteous way. Angelina like all great stars will come against it at times. I believe because many of us have followed her journey since very early childhood...we feel protective like pseudo parents and grandparents....She is unique and what a privilege it is to follow her journey. If people have varying opinions, thats a healthy thing as long as the debate is respectful. Not everyone liked the Beatles...and at a time they were even burning Beatle records.....however history clearly proclaimed that their talent went beyond their age. I believe this is true of Angelina.....If she pursues her career, then ten, twenty years from now...she will be added to the pantheon of great vocalists and musical talents that history has blessed us with. She is an original. After 60 years she certainly got my attention. By way of encouragement keep your comments going. Your honest reaction is always worth the price.....
Brandon, two very insightful moments from your reaction. First was the motion of her lip that is a microexpression that usually means contempt. Yes, we as humans can feel contempt for a situation (not for the people involved) in which we need to beg for help. And second, I believe as you suggested that the relatively simple structure of the song was intentional for her first release in this new era of her career. Her songs for her EP and following album could very well get slowly more complex as they are released. Great reaction! As far as the critical comments go, I am sensitive to criticism as well (and have been working to lessen that over the years) so I understand where you are coming from. I have a feeling that some, if not most, of what you heard were from trolls and not true Angelina fans though. Angelina has been a role model for her Angels of being able to disagree without being disagreeable -- thus her affectionate moniker, "The Boss" by the bands she works with. This I totally agree with. I love when reactors become vocal analysts. When you read the lyrics and watch the video at the same time, I believe it becomes more impressive. They have not interfered with her grammar…The oddities of the English language and expressions in America. It's easy to forget Norwegian is her first language! 🌸😇
Since you haven’t been around for awhile, she recently made a guest appearance at Heidi Klum’s Germany’s Next Top Model competition and sang three songs. She knocked them all out of the park! So impressive as she comes into her own at 17, and she also gave the models a run for their money!

I see the Elvis expressions and intensity in this song, maybe because she recently covered one of his classics. Also perhaps because she wrote the lyrics. Yes! I also found that she looks like Elvis at that time with her lip rising asymmetrically! Hello my dear, as a reactor myself and a AJ Angel, I found what you said about negative comments to be shocking! I honestly have NEVER gotten ONE from the Angels and I have been reacting to her for three years. In fact I would say that they are the loveliest, kindest, most generous fans ever. I am so sorry you've had to go through that. I have heard about 1 or 2 negative nillies BUT for you to be so affected it has to be the trolls I've been hearing about lately from other reactors. Thanks Tee! It was on the first video I did on her. I was very impressed with her voice but commented that her performance seemed a little flat and lacking connection. I suggested that it might be that she was too close to the material which can cause an artist or performer to pull back emotionally so as to not lose composure, or even to disassociate. Many of her fans agreed with that assessment because, as a they told me, she wrote the song for her grandfather who had passed away not too long before the shoot. Still, there were many who seemed to miss all the glowing things I said about her and were very angry that I would suggest even that Angelina might get tired or feel stressed. It was pretty extreme. Several comments were blocked by TH-cam and when I reviewed them… lets just say that the block was well warranted. Thanks for the comment. It’s awesome to see your username here. Thanks for returning to Angelina, Brandon. Sorry to hear that some of our fellow Angels apparently went overboard with comments in the past. Hopefully, there won't be a repeat appearance of that kind of thing here. Love some of your focus on the way Angelina's facial expressions propel and amplify the lyrics. And you're totally right regarding the old-school Hollywood vibe (Angelina was quoted as saying exactly that in a recent article about the upcoming class of young signers.) I'm not sure that "formulaic" or "cookie cutter" are quite the right words to describe the song, but then again I've had the benefit of many, many listens since this dropped over one month ago while this was your first time. I guess what I would suggest instead is that the song is designed to showcase Angelina's vocals, which are so beautifully textured that they need to stand out. Having instrumentals that are too busy or a structure that is too complex could stand in the way of that goal. So, yes, it was very "intentional," as you noted that it might be. Glad you are back. Our Angel has arrived. This is almost (and maybe is) the perfect song for her debut. The video is great, the lyrics are beyond great, and then there’s her voice. I am really looking forward to the album.
Angelina is not talking about a person she is talking about the essence of love as she said " if love had a face " and another example is when Angelina said "if she could look into loves eyes there wouldn't be no place love could hide " and " if love had a heart she would make it beat for her " and finally " if love had a soul it is where her home would be ". Angelina is not talking about the love of a person, but rather love in it's purest unadulterated essence and form, "LOVE ITSELF". (Real love)! I personally believe this is why it is referred to as a "visualizer" because you have to not only listen to the song but you also have to visualize the lyrics of the song.
I googled Visualizer vs music video. A visualizer tends to be less developed and fully-fledged than the regular videos and aims to be a simplistic visual intended to accompany the song. Like a mood board, this could be a way for them to experiment with different concepts without having to develop them into a plot. The visualizer needs to play with different aesthetics, movements, the palette of colors, look and feel, etc. That’s why the idea of a visualizer puts more pressure on the artists to make more complex and realized music videos in a long term. Great reaction. I'm perplexed with the negativity you received. Im subscribed to over 400 AJ reactors from all ages and genres and most if not all sing the praises of AJ fans. She is more polished today because she has the full power of Republic Records behind her with at least 2 Grammy winning producers and a plethora of songwriters and support to work with her, she’s still driving the bus, but she has a lot of help keeping it tuned up and on the right track.
Repeated watching and listening yields more "aha" moments. I'm always amazed that reactors can even speak after one listen, let alone offer analysis, so I think you are amazing. Tiny Little Girl Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice was 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve. I have a number of pictures of celebrities whose height is known, for example, Austin Butler, who played Elvis, is 6ft tall, and AJ published a picture of her standing next to him, she was at least 1 inch taller than him, and she had to look down at him.

Trolls are sociopaths and seek to sow anger, hurt, and resentment. Withdraw and the narcissist feels he won. Engage him with anger, and he will revel in his schadenfreude. The correct response is to ignore him, thereby taking away that which he prizes above all else... attention. BTW, I've noticed that little curl of the lip she does. I'm not sure what other people said on an earlier reaction you did, but coming from the viewpoint of someone who has been admittedly scathing sometimes in the past because I feel super protective of her, I doubt that any of the negative comments you received before were motivated by hate, but if they were abrasive and put you off, I'm glad you came back. And if I was one of those negative commenters long ago which I don't have any memory of, then I'm glad you looked past the protectiveness and tried again, because this format you do is perfectly fine and I don't see any issue with it whatsoever so I'm not even sure what they might have and negative about unless you did something different than you did this time. Angelina is quite an artist, especially considering her age. Your interesting insights into that performance show what a competent performer she is. Your thoughts on her other videos I am sure would go down well, guess that the internet cannot have too much of her performances ;) Guess that she will be on the music scene for a long time, which is great news, do hope that the industry takes better care of her than they apparently have of other artists, so that Angelina is comfortable with her performances which will help her shine even more.

I've seen a small percentage of comments that could be called negative and they are usually just trolls. Block them. Don't give them power over you, like you say you have been doing. Great reaction! This original song is really good! The surprise of the video, her Grandma Mery is in it! This has everything that should make this a big hit. I'm spreading the word to everyone I know. We Angels are so proud of her! I purchased this single right away to show my support for her. Such a catchy song with an old school retro 60's vibe! Darn song is stuck in my head but I don't care! As for the negative stuff, it's pretty hard to escape. I listen to other singers here on TH-cam and I run in to these types of people as well. Those of us who have followed her for years all agree, she was amazing for her age, and we all recognize how she has grown and improved an already amazing voice AND delivery! Your opening comments sent me scurrying through your previous reactions trying to identify what the issue was. I was not successful. I neither found anything terribly negative that you expressed nor did I find any rude or offensive comments from AJ's, admittedly passionate, fan base. In any case, I am glad to see you back with Angelina because I think there are some exciting months ahead!
I hope I didn't cause you too much trouble. It all stemmed from my first reaction to her long ago. And most of the comments - all of the worst of them, those that really gave me pause - were caught by youtube's comment moderator bot and eventually deleted. They were a bit shocking. Thankfully, in this comment thread so far, Angelina's fans are living up to their name. Angelina would be proud, I'm sure.
Well if you recall as I do, the shall I say controversial comments tnae made its wasn't surprising that some negative comments came his way , but I don't believe as I recall the disrespectful comments were that numerous or indeed warranted this reaction to them at all , personally its a over reaction imo but obviously his recollection differs from mine.
It was Million Miles that caused the problems. If you want to understand what happened, take a close look at this particular reaction. We all know what this song means to the fans and just a minute into this reaction I was like, "OMG they're going to kill him in the comments" - and they did, sometimes in a totally unacceptable way (the most horrific comments were quickly deleted by the YT bots or Brandon himself). Brandon wasn't very successful in explaining his approach to reactions as an acting coach, and I felt that some of those explanations made things worse. I suspect it wouldn't have been this extreme on any other Angelina video (except maybe "You are always in my mind"), but that doesn't excuse personal attacks and verbal violence of a kind rarely seen. After all, it was his very first Angelina reaction and if I was received like that, I would have kept my hands off further reactions for this fan base too.

Mind you a little controversy brings in more views and comments , now there's a thing .
The fact that you stopped reacting to Angelina because of negative comments, knowing how incredibly kind angels (her fans) are tells me that you are focusing a bit too much on the negative ones. I will just tell you this, you can stop reacting to her if you want but never stop listening to her, she is like chicken soup for the soul.

Really enjoyed your content here! This is the first time I've happened upon you - but I've heard lot and lots of AJ & reactors, and read lots and lots of comments. And I would just offer this guess as to why you've had negative comments. It sounds to me, from this one offering, that you're a very honest person, and you're very honest in your reactions. Now, AJ seems to be somewhat unique in her career, in that, due to TH-cam, we've been able to discover her, and then go back to when she was 6, and grow up with her! So she already seems like a daughter or sister or niece or friend! And in addition, Angelina's special musical gift isn't just a great voice - with her style and her heart, she hits most people in THEIR hearts! She strikes an emotional chord somehow, and people are physically and emotionally and spiritually moved - often without knowing why. So, I think that people feel incredibly protective of her, and just LOVE her - not only as a singer, but in a personal way! So that's why I think some people get upset over any sort of a negative - or even ambivalent - reaction! She's touched their soul, and they want everyone to appreciate her in the same way - much as you would feel about your own child!
Thank you for coming back to Angelina. I don't think I ever commented on your reactions before but I now feel this would be as good a time as any. You're the only reactor, that I know of, who focuses on the physical expression aspect of a performance by an artist, which gives us a view from another angle, or perspective. On the subject of negative comments, sadly no matter how you slice it, they will never go away. Some say you speak too fast. English is not my native tongue (Canadian French), and yet I understand every single word you say. That would be a different story if you were British or Australian 😆. Someone mentioned the background music distracting. I agree on this one, only because it's too loud. On the other hand it is so good and relaxing that it makes me lose focus on what you're saying so I need to rewind 😉. So may I suggest to just turn down the volume by half, I could live with that. Other than that, just keep coming back, I predict many new performances are in the pipeline for you to dig into in the next few months as her first Ep is about to come out and her LP is due for the fall 🙂. Angelina mentioned in her last concert run the importance of everybody being kind to each other. I know it upsets her deeply when people are not kind on her sites. I know people who have mistaken being protective as attacking imagined criticism. We all experience things differently and if all commentary was identical it would be pointless to watch. I have followed her for 8 years and have found all your reactions to her in the past, interesting enough for a like. I think you are right. I have stated something similar in other reactions. I also think there was also Adele references. They are signalling to newbies they are being introduced an Adele emotional type great vocalist. As fans we know Angelina likes to surprise us so the single may or may not be representative of the album.

Brandon, I enjoyed your reaction along with your insightful observations. I appreciate that you reminded ALL viewers to be respectful with their comments. Anyone can disagree with your opinions but should always be respectful. Many of us Angelina angels also try to remind others on this subject.
I wanted to share these thoughts about how we express our affection and approval as it could affect her in ways we never stopped to consider. There's no question that Angelina is very special, and has a strong effect on all of us that is intangible. Her voice, emotion, persona, all contribute to what she brings to many of us in a way that other artists may not.
There are some comments that all of us are guilty of making of at times. "Angelina is the best singer on the planet or in the universe!" or Angelina is the best vocalist of all time!" Some angels believe these as fact, and the statements are well intended, but in reality they are individual opinions that cannot be forced on others. If a reactor or non-angel doesn't respond in agreement, some of us occasionally become defensive. I think all of us have fallen into that trap at one time or another.
Why is this worth addressing? If Angelina were to be aware of statements like this, it could be stressful for her to try to live up to unrealistic expectations. Most artists find it difficult to live on such a pedestal. Fortunately, Angelina is strong, and has a wonderful support system, but over time, we all have seen some unfortunate and sometimes tragic results of deifying young celebrities. They are just human beings like us, and too much pressure to sustain an unattainable image can possibly have undesired consequences. Angelina should never find herself in that position, and I believe we need to do our part to protect her as always.
Over the past couple of years, I have been guilty at times of making some "over-the-top" statements. But I learned that the best way to influence others to appreciate her is realistically and casually, without pressure. Music as an art form is subjective, and people need to follow their own discovery process, and develop their own opinions. Instead of stating that Angelina is the best singer in the universe, perhaps better would be, "I personally have never experienced another singer who moves me like Angelina."
Every artist brings something different to the table, and although Angelina brings the most to many of us, let's not put too much pressure on her. That should apply not only to reaction comments, but also to any over the top comments we may make inadvertently on her posts, about her attractive appearance. As Angelina so eloquently expressed in Adele's song, please Go Easy On Me!

Brandon, I thoroughly enjoyed this reaction and as you said, I haven't seen you for a while. I'd like to address a few things that came up during your comments, all from a positive point of view.
1. I have followed Angelina for 5 years and have listened to thousands of reactions over that time. I read the comments regularly. I can't tell you exactly why you're getting negative comments as you do but it appears it is a combination of factors. There may be a very small handful of fans who occasionally go overboard but of course I don't know for sure. If it is the case, it is probably the same VERY small group each time. What I do know for sure is that because Angelina is one of the most featured artists in reaction channels, there are a number of trolls that I have encountered along the way who intentionally try to sabotage the comments with negative approaches. It could be some combination of both, but as many others have said, the positivity that Angelina brings to the table hopefully outweighs the negatives you have encountered. I spent my entire career in sales and the majority of encounters were positive. But they were always negative as well but they were a small percentage. I had to overlook them so I could keep going and experience the good things. I think your expressing your feelings about this is a very positive thing and hopefully if there are any naysayers it will stop or certainly be reduced significantly.
2. Your comments about the nature of the cadence of the song obviously is a subjective opinion so I don't really have anything strong to say about it. I like it and I think most do, and the intent was to make this a 1960s vibe performance. The song does follow that theme which is likely why it is as it is.
3. Your analysis is first rate! You are insightful, and your verbal discussions I think are spot on. But what I appreciate as much or more is your verbal discussion in your description. Very few reactors do anything like that and having all of the description and information about the song is very useful, especially to those that are not familiar with it. Kudos to you for that.
4. In terms of whether you continue to react to Angelina, which I hope you do, consider that she is 17 years old and trying to make a name for herself in the industry. She already has a large following on social media and TH-cam, but wants to get much larger of course. Her goal is to spread peace and love to the world through her singing, and I know you have a similar desire. Continued exposure from reactors like you are very important to her and she deserves it.
5. Finally, another factor to consider is that fans become endeared and loyal to reactors who support and promote their favorite artists. A great reaction like you provide is a start. But some extra things would help greatly, both for her and your channel. Thank you for providing a link to the original video in your description. A link to her official channel would also be desirable. Realize that most fans do not know how to best support you or the featured artist. Please encourage them to use your description to find the artist links as well as important links for you and your channel. Suggest they like coming and subscribe to the artist AND YOUR CHANNEL. It doesn't sound like much, but these things help the artist algorithm as much as they help yours when they do the same for you. It should be win-win for artist and reactor.
You are correct that the song you just listened to is an original that came out a month ago. Angelina is releasing a new EP likely within 30 days that will have at least five new songs on it all originals! It will be especially of interest to you and very exciting for the fans to watch and listen. It is her first album with Republic Records.

One thing you will get from Angelina's strongly dedicated fans (Angels) is that we are very proud, supportive and protective of her. Many of us have been watching her videos for years and many of them, hundreds of times. I have seen every reactor complain of people making unkind comments. You should ignore those comments and understand that your reactions are appreciated. Not to be unkind to you but I will say I believe you stay in the negative frame of mind when you are doing the reaction. You griped about it being called a "visualizer" before the video even started. You do seem to have some anger problems with trivial things that really mean nothing to other people. Thank you for your comments. You said some really interesting things. Being in a public arena there will be an exposure to various opinions and reactions. I was criticized for once referring to Angelina as A.J. I replied to that criticism in a courteous way. Angelina like all great stars will come against it at times. I believe because many of us have followed her journey since very early childhood...we feel protective like pseudo parents and grandparents....She is unique and what a privilege it is to follow her journey. If people have varying opinions, thats a healthy thing as long as the debate is respectful. Not everyone liked the Beatles...and at a time they were even burning Beatle records.....however history clearly proclaimed that their talent went beyond their age. Brandon, two very insightful moments from your reaction. First was the motion of her lip that is a microexpression that usually means contempt. As far as the critical comments go, I am sensitive to criticism as well (and have been working to lessen that over the years) so I understand where you are coming from. I have a feeling that some, if not most, of what you heard were from trolls and not true Angelina fans though. Angelina at 17 is a highly professional singer with 10 years experience on world wide stage.
Since you haven’t been around for awhile, she recently made a guest appearance at Heidi Klum’s Germany’s Next Top Model competition and sang three songs. She knocked them all out of the park! So impressive as she comes into her own at 17, and she also gave the models a run for their money!

Hello my dear, as a reactor myself and a AJ Angel, I found what you said about negative comments to be shocking! I honestly have NEVER gotten ONE from the Angels and I have been reacting to her for three years. In fact I would say that they are the loveliest, kindest, most generous fans ever. I am so sorry you've had to go through that. I have heard about 1 or 2 negative nillies BUT for you to be so affected it has to be the trolls I've been hearing about lately from other reactors. I hope these comments far exceed even 1 naysayer. Great reaction!
Thanks Tee! It was on the first video I did on her. I was very impressed with her voice but commented that her performance seemed a little flat and lacking connection. I suggested that it might be that she was too close to the material which can cause an artist or performer to pull back emotionally so as to not lose composure, or even to disassociate. Many of her fans agreed with that assessment because, as a they told me, she wrote the song for her grandfather who had passed away not too long before the shoot. Still, there were many who seemed to miss all the glowing things I said about her and were very angry that I would suggest even that Angelina might get tired or feel stressed. It was pretty extreme. Several comments were blocked by TH-cam and when I reviewed them… lets just say that the block was well warranted.

Thanks for returning to Angelina, Brandon. Sorry to hear that some of our fellow Angels apparently went overboard with comments in the past. Hopefully, there won't be a repeat appearance of that kind of thing here. Love some of your focus on the way Angelina's facial expressions propel and amplify the lyrics. And you're totally right regarding the old-school Hollywood vibe (Angelina was quoted as saying exactly that in a recent article about the upcoming class of young signers.) I'm not sure that "formulaic" or "cookie cutter" are quite the right words to describe the song, but then again I've had the benefit of many, many listens since this dropped over one month ago while this was your first time. I guess what I would suggest instead is that the song is designed to showcase Angelina's vocals, which are so beautifully textured that they need to stand out. Having instrumentals that are too busy or a structure that is too complex could stand in the way of that goal. So, yes, it was very "intentional," as you noted that it might be. Glad you are back. Angelina is not talking about a person she is talking about the essence of love as she said " if love had a face " and another example is when Angelina said "if she could look into loves eyes there wouldn't be no place love could hide " and " if love had a heart she would make it beat for her " and finally " if love had a soul it is where her home would be ". Angelina is not talking about the love of a person, but rather love in it's purest unadulterated essence and form, "LOVE ITSELF". (Real love)! I personally believe this is why it is referred to as a "visualizer" because you have to not only listen to the song but you also have to visualize the lyrics of the song.
I googled Visualizer vs music video. A visualizer tends to be less developed and fully-fledged than the regular videos and aims to be a simplistic visual intended to accompany the song. Like a mood board, this could be a way for them to experiment with different concepts without having to develop them into a plot. The visualizer needs to play with different aesthetics, movements, the palette of colors, look and feel, etc. That’s why the idea of a visualizer puts more pressure on the artists to make more complex and realized music videos in a long term.

You didn't notice the "speedster" name on the car and immediately she started to sing faster. 👍 😊 This is very well done. Even the little things was a hint, even her grandmother. 👍
Tiny Little Girl
Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice was 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve. I have a number of pictures of celebrities whose height is known, for example, Austin Butler, who played Elvis, is 6ft tall, and AJ published a picture of her standing next to him, she was at least 1 inch taller than him, and she had to look down at him.

I have always loved your reactions and you have never said anything that i would call negative. You give your professional opinion and in no way do you do it in a ‘bad’ way.
I have heard many reactors who refuse to react to AJ videos for the vile backlash on anything they determine negative.
Im hoping they leave you in peace and you have the space for all of us who love and appreciate you.
Trolls are sociopaths and seek to sow anger, hurt, and resentment. Withdraw and the narcissist feels he won. Engage him with anger, and he will revel in his schadenfreude. The correct response is to ignore him, thereby taking away that which he prizes above all else... attention.
BTW, I've noticed that little curl of the lip she does. You're the first reactor I've seen to pick up on that.

I'm not sure what other people said on an earlier reaction you did, but coming from the viewpoint of someone who has been admittedly scathing sometimes in the past because I feel super protective of her, I doubt that any of the negative comments you received before were motivated by hate, but if they were abrasive and put you off, I'm glad you came back. And if I was one of those negative commenters long ago which I don't have any memory of, then I'm glad you looked past the protectiveness and tried again, because this format you do is perfectly fine and I don't see any issue with it whatsoever so I'm not even sure what they might have and negative about unless you did something different than you did this time. Anyway, you did great and we appreciate your honest commentary and for supporting our Angel :-)

Angelina is quite an artist, especially considering her age. Your interesting insights into that performance show what a competent performer she is. Your thoughts on her other videos I am sure would go down well, guess that the internet cannot have too much of her performances ;) Guess that she will be on the music scene for a long time, which is great news, do hope that the industry takes better care of her than they apparently have of other artists, so that Angelina is comfortable with her performances which will help her shine even more.

It's great to see you back with Angelina. Why don't you just block those who make negative comments? Many reactors who have difficulty ignoring negativity just block it. Not a big deal. I've seen a small percentage of comments that could be called negative and they are usually just trolls. Block them. Don't give them power over you, like you say you have been doing. This is your channel. Own it.

Great reaction! This original song is really good! The surprise of the video, her Grandma Mery is in it! This has everything that should make this a big hit. I'm spreading the word to everyone I know. We Angels are so proud of her! I purchased this single right away to show my support for her. Such a catchy song with an old school retro 60's vibe! Darn song is stuck in my head but I don't care!
As for the negative stuff, it's pretty hard to escape. I listen to other singers here on TH-cam and I run in to these types of people as well. It's like their sole purpose is to cause conflict. Any type of negative comment will set these people off. I hope you continue your journey with Angelina. You probably have some songs to catch up on. She does have an EP of original music coming out really soon, so that is something to really look forward to!

With regard to negative comments you may receive, I believe those who follow her closely have the right to correct you if you make mistakes here or there.,mistakes born from a lack of in depth knowledge of who she is as an artists..that’s not a criticism..I’m simply saying that you can’t know her particularly well as an artist or a person only because you’ve not done the hours and hours researching and learning about her because you have many other artists to look at too. On the other hand I would ask all Angels to be polite when pointing out any mistakes you may or may not make.

Passion is best when you understand the object of one's passion. Those of us who have followed her for years all agree, she was amazing for her age, and we all recognize how she has grown and improved an already amazing voice AND delivery! That someone can pick out small details that for them makes the experience more complete and meaningful show they understand why they like what they like...

Your opening comments sent me scurrying through your previous reactions trying to identify what the issue was. I was not successful. I neither found anything terribly negative that you expressed nor did I find any rude or offensive comments from AJ's, admittedly passionate, fan base. In any case, I am glad to see you back with Angelina because I think there are some exciting months ahead!
I hope I didn't cause you too much trouble. It all stemmed from my first reaction to her long ago. And most of the comments - all of the worst of them, those that really gave me pause - were caught by youtube's comment moderator bot and eventually deleted. They were a bit shocking. Thankfully, in this comment thread so far, Angelina's fans are living up to their name. Angelina would be proud, I'm sure.
Well if you recall as I do, the shall I say controversial comments tnae made its wasn't surprising that some negative comments came his way , but I don't believe as I recall the disrespectful comments were that numerous or indeed warranted this reaction to them at all , personally its a over reaction imo but obviously his recollection differs from mine.
It was Million Miles that caused the problems. If you want to understand what happened, take a close look at this particular reaction. We all know what this song means to the fans and just a minute into this reaction I was like, "OMG they're going to kill him in the comments" - and they did, sometimes in a totally unacceptable way (the most horrific comments were quickly deleted by the YT bots or Brandon himself). Brandon wasn't very successful in explaining his approach to reactions as an acting coach, and I felt that some of those explanations made things worse. I suspect it wouldn't have been this extreme on any other Angelina video (except maybe "You are always in my mind"), but that doesn't excuse personal attacks and verbal violence of a kind rarely seen. After all, it was his very first Angelina reaction and if I was received like that, I would have kept my hands off further reactions for this fan base too.
@@paulwagner9303 And so that was over a year ago his 1st reaction I don't recall that many disrespectful comments I may have missed them as I didn't subscribe just wasn't my cup of tea far to intense but he has reacted several times since then , so why the big deal now. Mind you a little controversy brings in more views and comments , now there's a thing .

The fact that you stopped reacting to Angelina because of negative comments, knowing how incredibly kind angels (her fans) are tells me that you are focusing a bit too much on the negative ones. I will just tell you this, you can stop reacting to her if you want but never stop listening to her, she is like chicken soup for the soul.

Really enjoyed your content here! This is the first time I've happened upon you - but I've heard lot and lots of AJ & reactors, and read lots and lots of comments. And I would just offer this guess as to why you've had negative comments. It sounds to me, from this one offering, that you're a very honest person, and you're very honest in your reactions. Now, AJ seems to be somewhat unique in her career, in that, due to TH-cam, we've been able to discover her, and then go back to when she was 6, and grow up with her! So she already seems like a daughter or sister or niece or friend! And in addition, Angelina's special musical gift isn't just a great voice - with her style and her heart, she hits most people in THEIR hearts! She strikes an emotional chord somehow, and people are physically and emotionally and spiritually moved - often without knowing why. So, I think that people feel incredibly protective of her, and just LOVE her - not only as a singer, but in a personal way! So that's why I think some people get upset over any sort of a negative - or even ambivalent - reaction! She's touched their soul, and they want everyone to appreciate her in the same way - much as you would feel about your own child!
Thank you for coming back to Angelina. I don't think I ever commented on your reactions before but I now feel this would be as good a time as any. You're the only reactor, that I know of, who focuses on the physical expression aspect of a performance by an artist, which gives us a view from another angle, or perspective. On the subject of negative comments, sadly no matter how you slice it, they will never go away. Some say you speak too fast. English is not my native tongue (Canadian French), and yet I understand every single word you say. That would be a different story if you were British or Australian 😆. Someone mentioned the background music distracting. I agree on this one, only because it's too loud. On the other hand it is so good and relaxing that it makes me lose focus on what you're saying so I need to rewind 😉. So may I suggest to just turn down the volume by half, I could live with that. Other than that, just keep coming back, I predict many new performances are in the pipeline for you to dig into in the next few months as her first Ep is about to come out and her LP is due for the fall 🙂. Angelina mentioned in her last concert run the importance of everybody being kind to each other. I know it upsets her deeply when people are not kind on her sites. I know people who have mistaken being protective as attacking imagined criticism. We all experience things differently and if all commentary was identical it would be pointless to watch. I have followed her for 8 years and have found all your reactions to her in the past, interesting enough for a like. I think you are right. I have stated something similar in other reactions. I also think there was also Adele references. They are signalling to newbies they are being introduced an Adele emotional type great vocalist. As fans we know Angelina likes to surprise us so the single may or may not be representative of the album.
