En serio que Series X y PS5 son tremendas consolas! Elegi un PS5 por encima de una PC porque ya no pude juntar mas dinero y no me ha decepcionado para nada y casi todos los juegos salen con un nivel muy bueno de optimization!
Pretty sure you have to install games on PS5 before playing. This whole "plug and play" meme just doesn't exist. Playing on PC is as easy as double clicking a desktop icon and sitting on your couch with the controller of your preference. The stutter is the developer's fault.
This game needs more optimisation. Like what are those random massive drops on PS5? Plus the terrible PC performance and the extremely common single to triple frame drops on SX.
They all looked pretty good to me. As far as the graphics are concern nothing looks like a deal breaker. Even little men( Series S) is over there doing it's job at a affordable price of $250.

It’s a shame the PC version is so badly optimized. I’m gonna try this game out tonight on a 3060ti. I read a user review on Steam that said if you enable vsync and disable motion blur the frame stutters completely go away. Edit: Sorry, disabling vsync is supposed to help performance not enabling it. I also saw that the devs are releasing a patch today for improving PC performance.
That isnt fail, easy a comparison between Screen-Reflection (lower Performance, disable RayTracing) and Raytracing (Higher Performance, disable Screen-Reflection) 🙂👓☝️

Just received my Series X copy from Amazon, but I've arranged an exchange for the PS5 one. Usually all multiplatform games on the XSX as there is normally a small performance gain, however with the XSX raytracing bug, no real performance difference and the added hapic features for the duelsense, it seems the PS5 is the one to go for time.
The adaptive triggers on the dualsense is really well utilized in this game on all the weapons. Same thing with the controller's haptics. Great experience on PS5 so far.
I can’t imagine the ray tracing bug won’t get fixed pretty soon. But yeah, DualSense is absolutely an advantage for the PS5 version, though don’t forget the Xbox version also has Atmos for surround speakers.

@@wssayer Yup! Someone on ResetEra confirmed it really has real Atmos over speakers and not upmixing. Think it’s also safe to assume in general that 100% of games advertised as having 3D audio on PS5 will also have Atmos on Xbox.
Sometimes the problem is not solved by lowering the resolution. The real problem with series s is that it has very little ram compared to series x and PS5, the memory is the workspace of the game engine
@@moister3727 I think it is not enough. xbox series s has 10 GB in total, if my memory serves me right, only 8 GB usable. You can hide the lack of raw power and bandwidth by lowering the resolution, but if your application doesn't fit in your ram, it simply won't fit. I think the lack of RAM is more delicate than the lack of TFLOPS

the only slight issue i found about the game that is slightly blurry. i know it's TAA and the mood of the game is kinda hazy and all, but still could have been more sharper.
para multis la mejor opción con diferencia es pillarte una series X con game pass , en esto no hay debate , si lo que quieres es los mejores exclusivos ps5 sin duda , el pc solo si le quieres meter mods porque para mover el cyberpunk como se ve en series X te tienes que dejar 4 veces mas de dinero y simplemente no merece la pena , de hecho es un timo el precio al que están las tarjetas graficas hoy en dia.

One of the reasons I gave up PC gaming. Shader compilation stutter on UE4. It’s just disastrous. And so MANY games are made with UE4. The problem will go away when UE5 games finally start arriving. But too late for me. I spent the 1000 bucks I was going to spend on a new GPU on a PS5 and a Series X. Definitely no regrets so far.
Well that is your choice i'm perfectly happy with my 2080ti/3900x/32gb ddr4 combo and have zero desired to ever switch to console or upgrade to new fancy hardware at the moment... Mainly because the number of ray tracing video game that i have touch can literally be count on 1 hand and the list of good old generation and light in graphic game that i still haven't play yet is literally 1 story long

La resolución no tiene absolutamente nada que ver con la niebla. Capaz sea más fácil ver a través de la niebla en una resolución más alta, pero la cantidad de niebla que hay no se reduce conforme aumentes la resolución, esa es una opción que puedes activar o desativar en el juego como un setting gráfico.

See, I have both PS5 & XSX and i was trying to figure out witch platform to buy this game for, after watching this its becoming harder to choose. XSX missing reflection on quality mode is extremely unfortunate. But on the flipside PS5's framerate drops is also a bad look. I know both will have a patch to fix these issues but I'm still on the fence about which one to choose.
Honestly just in what was showed they seem pretty even in drops. However from my count, xsx had a few more drops over ps5. But that’s just for this clip and doesn’t mean in other scenarios ps5 would have less. Couldn’t go wrong with either honestly

El juego corre a 1080-1200p realmente, casi nunca llega a los 1440p y tampoco los mantiene, igual que los 30fps tienen caídas, ahora imagina que intentarán con 60fps, tendrían que bajar a 720p o menos la resolución.
If you don’t have a ps5 it looks like you should wait. Even on Xbox there seem to be issues with RT and stutters. Very suspicious considering Sony helped develop this game, not a good look. The game looks incredibly good though.
The mirror reflection on XSX is probably something made on purpose, as Sony lent 150 employees to work on the game. There's a clear bias towards Sony's console.
Were dropped frames in performance mode on ps5 also a bias? Do you people even watch the video? Lack of Raytracing is obviously a bug, that's going to be resolved soon like it was with several other releases that lacked Raytracing support on xsx on launch day

Bought this for PC on steam, it's a jittery stutter fest. That's even with a 4090.. i refunded my steam purchase and got it on PS5 and it's been great so far.

@@wiehanndeklerk8969 Wrong, the SS cpu is the same one as the Series X altrough clocked down a bit. Which means only the graphics/resolution are inferior, they could've added a 1080p 60fps mode. It's an unreal engine 4 game, it shouldn't be that demanding
RT reflections are pretty bad and far from what i've seen in games like Guardians of the Galaxy. Except for the mirror scene, all reflections looks better with SSR. RayTrayced shadows are really something, i like it. Sad they didn't think about a RT performance mode with resolution down to 1440p and only RT shadows activated for consoles. As for the PC version... I have no words. I would have probably taken the game on this platform but meh I'll go for the PS5 ver then.

I wonder what the base resolution is for series S since is Dynamic Temporal Reconstruction. Gotta be lower than 1440p since it's adding pixels from previous frames to reach 1440p also surprise series s doesn't have a 1080p 60fps mode

It's mostly 1080p. Probably 900p as the lowest, and 1440p... The output resolution but since the average is 1080p, it's a far cry from keeping a 1440p image. That explains why there's no 1080p60fps mode, it already is running it at 1080p but at 30fps. For a 60fps it would have to drop down to 720p and upscale to 1080p, but also lower the graphical settings a good amount.
So, to recap. for months they have been bragging about having created a AAAA game, the first in history. they release the game totally broken. The console versions are buggy, bugs on XBSX that doesn't have RT, there is no performance mode on SS, on ps5 there are absurd frame rate drops even in cutscenes (?) The PC version is totally broken, especially in PC high-end, with RT active there are stutters or the game freezes, in addition it is not possible to change graphics mode during the game, causing the game to crash. How dare they want to sell such a product for 80 euros?
Am playing on a ps5 and not impressed with graphics. At 60fps it's looks like 1080p , very soft image overall and going down Resident evil 2 lighting , giving everything a haze with the lighting I don't like, prefer Resident evil 3 lighting Am 2hrs in and my body is giving off flashlight lighting in front of me in the dark even though I have no torch or light source on me, what's that about ?
your playing at 60fps so your only getting 1440p resolution thats why the graphics are as you described them try playing on quality mode it looks so mich better

@@javierdelosriossamperio2325 Mal ejemplo, obviamente es culpa de la desarrolladora pero en la gen de PS3 y Xbox 360 era muy diferente a las de ahora y realmente había motivos técnicos para las.diferencias entre versiones, las consolas tenían arquitecturas completamente diferentes y PS3 tenía mal hardware para una consola CPU de servidor diseñado para cómputo y no para programar juegos, memoria principal separada, etc... una consola muy mal diseñada. En esta generación PS5 y Xbox son prácticamente identicas por lo que no hay excusa para que una versión tenga errores que no están en la otra consola que tiene un hardware exactamente igual, obviamente son empresas privadas y Sony puede pagar para que su versión este depurada mucho antes que las demás aunque esto no sea ilegal me parece muy poco ético porque en este caso lo más probable es que la versión de Xbox nunca este depurada tenga errores y además tenga peor rendimiento cuando no hay ningún motivo técnico que lo justifique simplemente dinero y competencia desleal, de PC no hablo porque la optimización en PC es mucho más compleja al tener miles de configuraciones y variables diferentes, la gente que justifica esto no sabe lo que dice, es un juego multiplataforma no es un exclusivo de Sony, a petición de la desarrolladora trabajadores de Sony han ayudado a proyecto pero esto no debería ser para favorecer una versión sobre las otras si no para terminar el proyecto pero es evidente que han favorecido la versión de PS5 y no trabajan en las demás simplemente es una pena que la desarrolladora acepte esto

@@jhonymunoz1280 el hardware de ps5 es más sencillo que el de una series x, es más fácil para trabajar, al menos eso dijeron varios desarrolladores independientes, que era más cómodo, creo más que todo se deba a su procesamiento de datos en alta capacidad, lo de series x está muy bien optimizado por que igual es una arquitectura muy cómoda de trabajar y muy gentil, solo salio con el bug donde no se activa el raytracing, seguro sacan el parche y pum, raitracing, tampoco es que te joda la experiencia, solo un pequeño bug.

Due to the 12 teraflops, reflexes (RT) should be better on the XBOX SX, it's a shame what the developers did with the SX version. Technically, the non-reflective SX is inexplicable, and it is precisely in this area that it stands out compared to the PS5. Seeing such a bizarre thing, I start to believe that news that Sony would pay developers to release a more polished version of their games compared to the SX.
Ya se sabía desde antes que saliera que la versión de PS5 iba a tener algunas mejoras frente a las demás versiones con eso de que Sony estuvo apoyando al desarrollo y peor aún ya se sabe que han pagado a compañías para que sus juegos se vean igual en Xbox y en Ps5 que se podía esperar de este juego.

I switched to Xbox about 3 years I use to like PlayStation a lot but the Xbox series x is just so good you can tell the difference but I want to play most of the new PS5 just because of the controller even if it does look a little bit worse on the ps5 but you can’t even tell that much and honestly I like both consoles the same
I'm a Microsoft guy myself and was really interested in the PS5 controller also. I just got my PS5 about a month ago and it is pretty freaking cool. Maybe not as cool as I was thinking but it's definitely different but I'll still take the xbox controller over the playstation one
Hopefully it won’t be long until there’s an Xbox controller with more advanced haptics. Then that will benefit PC games as well in terms of developer adoption.

O que ocorreu é como sempre a Sony metendo a mão no desenvolvimento e ajudando o lado dela de alguma forma, no caso usaram um estúdio da Sony em uma parte do desenvolvimento do jogo, ela que é mercenária, teve que colocar o dedinho para ter algo " a mais" no PS5.

Tried running this on my 3090ti, but the random stuttering really threw me off. Especially since it happened during every jump scare. I refunded it for now.
There is no way that a almost 3 times power 29,77 teraflop card (RTX 3080), performs worse in less resolution than a PS5. This is unnaceptable BS condition to launch a game on PC, it's either bad development o denuvo is really killing those cards. I'm a PS5 owner too before anyone thinks that i don't support consoles, but i also wanna enjoy games on my PC.
It's not the same architecture, so you can't compare it directly. The rtx 3080 performs similarly in raster (not rt) to the 6800xt, which has 20tflops, and it's the same architecture as the ps5, so the 3080 would be about twice as fast, however it's running at higher ray tracing settings, which is incredibly demanding and sometimes not worth the performance drop compared to the graphical benefit

Resumen: Si quieres modo rendimiento a 60fps, elige Series X, si quieres modo calidad a 30fps, elige PS5. Imagino que ambas cosas las iran corrigiendo con parches, añadiendo RT en reflejos a Xbox y mejorando el rendimiento en Play.

- Performance mode on PS5/Series X has a lower dynamic resolution, closer to 1872p on average with temporal reconstruction. Both maintain a similar resolution in the tested areas.

Pretty sure you have to install games on PS5 before playing. This whole "plug and play" meme just doesn't exist. Playing on PC is as easy as double clicking a desktop icon and sitting on your couch with the controller of your preference. The stutter is the developer's fault.

It’s a shame the PC version is so badly optimized. I’m gonna try this game out tonight on a 3060ti. I read a user review on Steam that said if you enable vsync and disable motion blur the frame stutters completely go away.
Edit: Sorry, disabling vsync is supposed to help performance not enabling it. I also saw that the devs are releasing a patch today for improving PC performance.

Just received my Series X copy from Amazon, but I've arranged an exchange for the PS5 one.
Usually all multiplatform games on the XSX as there is normally a small performance gain, however with the XSX raytracing bug, no real performance difference and the added hapic features for the duelsense, it seems the PS5 is the one to go for time.
The adaptive triggers on the dualsense is really well utilized in this game on all the weapons. Same thing with the controller's haptics. Great experience on PS5 so far.
I've only got a series x but if I had a ps5 I'll probably get it on that alsp
I can’t imagine the ray tracing bug won’t get fixed pretty soon. But yeah, DualSense is absolutely an advantage for the PS5 version, though don’t forget the Xbox version also has Atmos for surround speakers.

That implies resolution is the bottlekneck, if it was then they would probably have done that.
Sometimes the problem is not solved by lowering the resolution. The real problem with series s is that it has very little ram compared to series x and PS5, the memory is the workspace of the game engine
@@Diegonando64 I think it's enough. 10GBGDDR6 compared to the 12GBGDDR6 of the XSX, no real game uses that much RAM. Besides some beefy PC games.

You can hide the lack of raw power and bandwidth by lowering the resolution, but if your application doesn't fit in your ram, it simply won't fit.
I think the lack of RAM is more delicate than the lack of TFLOPS

the only slight issue i found about the game that is slightly blurry. i know it's TAA and the mood of the game is kinda hazy and all, but still could have been more sharper.

One thing that's brilliant vs. all versions is the DualSense implementation. Very, very good.
I'll happily buy this for Christmas (on PS5) 😁 hopefully some of those performance issues will be ironed out. Seems great otherwise.

One of the reasons I gave up PC gaming. Shader compilation stutter on UE4. It’s just disastrous. And so MANY games are made with UE4. The problem will go away when UE5 games finally start arriving. But too late for me. I spent the 1000 bucks I was going to spend on a new GPU on a PS5 and a Series X. Definitely no regrets so far.
Well that is your choice i'm perfectly happy with my 2080ti/3900x/32gb ddr4 combo and have zero desired to ever switch to console or upgrade to new fancy hardware at the moment...

I'm so glad I have a Ps5 an RTX 4090 PC to chose where to play i got a physical disc copy on ps5 I'm installing the game right now hopefully the PC version is in a much better state when i decide to revisit the game again in the future because I'm not going true hashtag stutter struggle and memory vram leak crashes on PC

La resolución no tiene absolutamente nada que ver con la niebla. Capaz sea más fácil ver a través de la niebla en una resolución más alta, pero la cantidad de niebla que hay no se reduce conforme aumentes la resolución, esa es una opción que puedes activar o desativar en el juego como un setting gráfico.

See, I have both PS5 & XSX and i was trying to figure out witch platform to buy this game for, after watching this its becoming harder to choose. XSX missing reflection on quality mode is extremely unfortunate. But on the flipside PS5's framerate drops is also a bad look. I know both will have a patch to fix these issues but I'm still on the fence about which one to choose.

El juego corre a 1080-1200p realmente, casi nunca llega a los 1440p y tampoco los mantiene, igual que los 30fps tienen caídas, ahora imagina que intentarán con 60fps, tendrían que bajar a 720p o menos la resolución.

If you don’t have a ps5 it looks like you should wait. Even on Xbox there seem to be issues with RT and stutters. Very suspicious considering Sony helped develop this game, not a good look. The game looks incredibly good though.
Optimization is terrible even after a 10gb patch! I mean PS5 version, but it's bad on all platforms.
The mirror reflection on XSX is probably something made on purpose, as Sony lent 150 employees to work on the game. There's a clear bias towards Sony's console.
Sony will probably buy this studio eventually. They see talent so are fostering this studio.

Bought this for PC on steam, it's a jittery stutter fest. That's even with a 4090.. i refunded my steam purchase and got it on PS5 and it's been great so far.

@@wiehanndeklerk8969 Wrong, the SS cpu is the same one as the Series X altrough clocked down a bit. Which means only the graphics/resolution are inferior, they could've added a 1080p 60fps mode. It's an unreal engine 4 game, it shouldn't be that demanding
RT reflections are pretty bad and far from what i've seen in games like Guardians of the Galaxy. Except for the mirror scene, all reflections looks better with SSR.
RayTrayced shadows are really something, i like it. Sad they didn't think about a RT performance mode with resolution down to 1440p and only RT shadows activated for consoles.
As for the PC version... I have no words. I would have probably taken the game on this platform but meh I'll go for the PS5 ver then.

It's mostly 1080p. Probably 900p as the lowest, and 1440p... The output resolution but since the average is 1080p, it's a far cry from keeping a 1440p image. That explains why there's no 1080p60fps mode, it already is running it at 1080p but at 30fps. For a 60fps it would have to drop down to 720p and upscale to 1080p, but also lower the graphical settings a good amount.

So, to recap. for months they have been bragging about having created a AAAA game, the first in history. they release the game totally broken.
The console versions are buggy, bugs on XBSX that doesn't have RT, there is no performance mode on SS, on ps5 there are absurd frame rate drops even in cutscenes (?) The PC version is totally broken, especially in PC high-end, with RT active there are stutters or the game freezes, in addition it is not possible to change graphics mode during the game, causing the game to crash.

Am playing on a ps5 and not impressed with graphics. At 60fps it's looks like 1080p , very soft image overall and going down Resident evil 2 lighting , giving everything a haze with the lighting I don't like, prefer Resident evil 3 lighting Am 2hrs in and my body is giving off flashlight lighting in front of me in the dark even though I have no torch or light source on me, what's that about ?

El problema es que es un juego multiplataforma,no un exclusivo de sony,por lo tanto todo el equipo,como los contratados de sony tenian que haber hecho bien su trabajo... Una verguenza que pase esto hoy en dia la verdad
@@quantize80 Lo sé si, pero pensandolo por un instante realmente Sony no tiene la culpa, es decir, ella decidió que cierto personal de sus diferentes estudios actúen como un "apoyo" "extra" a las versiones de PlayStation de este juego, si ha salido mal la de PC y Xbox ahi supongo que Sony se lave las manos ya que la culpa es de la propia desarrolladora base no de Sony, por descuidar estas versiones a favor de pulir más las de PlayStation, que mirandolo asi haya tenido Sony algo que ver si pero para favorecer sus versiones no entorpecer las demás (Que es la conspiración que se saca ahora la gente con tal de odiar a Sony en general ya sea por una cosa u otra o se la inventan por como digo odio innato que tienen a Sony)
Yo esto no lo veo mal, Microsoft pudo hacer lo mismo y no fue así, como empresa entiendo que se preocupen por sus versiones faltaría más es por eso que se ha creado una especie de "boicot" a las versiones de PlayStation por haber salido mal las de Xbox y PC. La culpa yo creo que es como digo del estudio base no solo de Sony. Es como CP con Cyberpunk que se puso a full con PC y paso un poco bastante de las versiones de PS4 y Xbox One.
Yo recuerdo por ejemplo cuando salió Tomb Raider: Underworld que las versiones de PS3 y PC estaban muy mal optimizadas pero la de Xbox 360 (Que a día de hoy sus DLC siguen siendo exclusivos) y en este caso la culpa fue de Crystal Dynamics)

@@javierdelosriossamperio2325 Mal ejemplo, obviamente es culpa de la desarrolladora pero en la gen de PS3 y Xbox 360 era muy diferente a las de ahora y realmente había motivos técnicos para las.diferencias entre versiones, las consolas tenían arquitecturas completamente diferentes y PS3 tenía mal hardware para una consola CPU de servidor diseñado para cómputo y no para programar juegos, memoria principal separada, etc... una consola muy mal diseñada. En esta generación PS5 y Xbox son prácticamente identicas por lo que no hay excusa para que una versión tenga errores que no están en la otra consola que tiene un hardware exactamente igual, obviamente son empresas privadas y Sony puede pagar para que su versión este depurada mucho antes que las demás aunque esto no sea ilegal me parece muy poco ético porque en este caso lo más probable es que la versión de Xbox nunca este depurada tenga errores y además tenga peor rendimiento cuando no hay ningún motivo técnico que lo justifique simplemente dinero y competencia desleal, de PC no hablo porque la optimización en PC es mucho más compleja al tener miles de configuraciones y variables diferentes, la gente que justifica esto no sabe lo que dice, es un juego multiplataforma no es un exclusivo de Sony, a petición de la desarrolladora trabajadores de Sony han ayudado a proyecto pero esto no debería ser para favorecer una versión sobre las otras si no para terminar el proyecto pero es evidente que han favorecido la versión de PS5 y no trabajan en las demás simplemente es una pena que la desarrolladora acepte esto

@@jhonymunoz1280 el hardware de ps5 es más sencillo que el de una series x, es más fácil para trabajar, al menos eso dijeron varios desarrolladores independientes, que era más cómodo, creo más que todo se deba a su procesamiento de datos en alta capacidad, lo de series x está muy bien optimizado por que igual es una arquitectura muy cómoda de trabajar y muy gentil, solo salio con el bug donde no se activa el raytracing, seguro sacan el parche y pum, raitracing, tampoco es que te joda la experiencia, solo un pequeño bug.

I switched to Xbox about 3 years I use to like PlayStation a lot but the Xbox series x is just so good you can tell the difference but I want to play most of the new PS5 just because of the controller even if it does look a little bit worse on the ps5 but you can’t even tell that much and honestly I like both consoles the same
I'm a Microsoft guy myself and was really interested in the PS5 controller also. I just got my PS5 about a month ago and it is pretty freaking cool. Maybe not as cool as I was thinking but it's definitely different but I'll still take the xbox controller over the playstation one
Hopefully it won’t be long until there’s an Xbox controller with more advanced haptics. Then that will benefit PC games as well in terms of developer adoption.

O que ocorreu é como sempre a Sony metendo a mão no desenvolvimento e ajudando o lado dela de alguma forma, no caso usaram um estúdio da Sony em uma parte do desenvolvimento do jogo, ela que é mercenária, teve que colocar o dedinho para ter algo " a mais" no PS5.

Tried running this on my 3090ti, but the random stuttering really threw me off. Especially since it happened during every jump scare. I refunded it for now.
There is no way that a almost 3 times power 29,77 teraflop card (RTX 3080), performs worse in less resolution than a PS5. This is unnaceptable BS condition to launch a game on PC, it's either bad development o denuvo is really killing those cards.
I'm a PS5 owner too before anyone thinks that i don't support consoles, but i also wanna enjoy games on my PC.

It's not the same architecture, so you can't compare it directly.
The rtx 3080 performs similarly in raster (not rt) to the 6800xt, which has 20tflops, and it's the same architecture as the ps5, so the 3080 would be about twice as fast, however it's running at higher ray tracing settings, which is incredibly demanding and sometimes not worth the performance drop compared to the graphical benefit

Resumen: Si quieres modo rendimiento a 60fps, elige Series X, si quieres modo calidad a 30fps, elige PS5. Imagino que ambas cosas las iran corrigiendo con parches, añadiendo RT en reflejos a Xbox y mejorando el rendimiento en Play.
