My mouth aches just watching this. I had braces (train tracks) in my early teens-chose blue ones to match my school uniform. Was worth it, but boy was it painful and it got stuck to things. Your teeth are beautiful ⭐
When I had braces, I made a long video about it, too, and I was very surprised by how much response it got! I'm glad they work out so well for you. You can really see the difference!
Yep, turmeric, I had a bad experience with my braces, they were metal, but the tiny elastics were transparent, until the day I had a curry, FLUO mouth! And even if I brushed and brushed they stayed yellow. I had them changed every 2 weeks or so so it was fine after a couple of weeks, but well, not a good look.
The other reason to keep your teeth clean is that the part of your tooth that has a bracket stuck to it won't discolor while the bracket is there (at least not as easily), but the rest of your tooth still can. You don't want to have your braces taken off and have a little white square in the middle of every tooth.
I had a similar type of braces where they were clear but I had mine on for 2 and a half YEARS! Oh my gosh! It was so horrible not being able to eat curry for so long so it was defiantly the first thing 1 ate when they were off :D
I just had my braces taken off on Monday. I did a video about it too. It was a rough time with the braces on ... but the results are worth every cold sore and ripped lip and trapped piece of food .... you will be so happy with the results. Follow the doctors orders.. I did and got mine off 6 months early!
Thank you for sharing your experience, glad it worked out for you! Definitely following the doctors orders (it'd be hard not to since I live with her).
I've never had braces, but I do get a lot of cuts on the inside of my mouth (sharp & pointy teeth - I asked the dentist to file them, but that's apparently a no-go). For numbing the pain (especially before eating), try: Tyrozet tablets, Bonjela gel and Difflam spray. Also, all good for mouth ulcers (and sore throats, except Bonjela).
Gosh, I so vividly remember the feeling of my teeth moving!!! ::shudders:: I had braces for a year, the train tracks, when I was 12 (oh geez, it's been 15 years)... And my orthodontist was overzealous and did power chains, meaning every two weeks I went back for another torture session 😝 I did like my ortho, but oh man those hurt! But I only needed braces for one year instead of 2-3. Sadly, I'm going to need to redo them for much the same reason you did... I don't wear the retainers (actually, I have absolutely no idea where they went).
I actually think I don't have to get braces if I don't have like a gap in the front, between my upper teeth. -_- Stupid tooth is like, stuck at the top, in the gums or something above my upper front teeth for years and it just started growing, I think this year. That's the main reason why I want/need to get braces. None of the people in my family has a gap between their front teeth like mine. Ugh, so unlucky. I do feel bad that my dad has to pay, of course, if I have more money, I'll use my own money. I've also watched videos of people getting braces, and yes, a lot of them said it hurts although some didn't hurt that much cuz their teeth were already almost straight. People are different. I do appreciate that I don't have braces yet, but I still want braces so bad/much and after watching so many videos, I think I'm kinda ready for the pain or difficulties or whatever. Hopefully, it won't be so painful. T.T I just want to get it over with so I hope I can get braces soon and just cry or whatever if it's painful and get used to it like everyone else so I can move on and stop thinking about the pain.
I forgot that Claudia was a dentist and while watching this, the first few minutes she said her dentist was hot and I was just like “what?!..you’re married” and then I realized my mistake, and I was just “oh, that was....”

Yes, it's so funny, I've always thought my teeth were inconspicuously crooked but no they've moved it's such an obvious change!

A water flosser helps a lot with cleaning around the wires when wearing braces
You're getting on very well with the braces. Looking very well. Your teeth looked very well before the braces but they're now spot on.

Sometimes living with the doctor makes it harder to follow her orders!
I thought there was something different with teeth now I know.....glade braces are doing there job,,,, great smile
Thanks!
your so welcome Jessica ;.)
Yeah nah, I like my snaggle teeth, but I'm glad that you are seeing results so quickly.😁

Uh oh! Well, these don't hurt too badly so I'd definitely recommend them x
Not sure I want to marry my dentist :-)
How much did you pay for your braces? Why you don't have more videos 😕
hi...is there any update about youre braces?is there any slight progress?can you show a full close up front and sides please?
Hi, braces update will be coming soon. I'm going to be doing one big video when I get them off (hopefully in just a month's time) x
