    The Dervish house built into nature was so beautifully positioned. Love an affordable hire car, wow those waterfalls looked so pretty! The viewpoints looked beautiful too, it’s great to see the houses built into the hillside. Wow your accommodation, we get so excited when a place has a washer let alone everything else you had there!

      Who knew! It’s the little things like having a washer and dryer that would excite us so much on our journey! 😂

      I live in Belgrade Serbia, married a serb, I'm from Liverpool UK, mostar and B&H are beautiful, some vids say the water is cold at kravice, its not at all. But best going in Summer .... u can do Blagaj, Počitelj, Medgugorje and Kravice Waterfalls, for 20€ full day excursion 9.30am til 5.30pm, great value.

    The Dervish House was really beautiful right on the water. Good tips about the public transport. I would love to visit the waterfall and do the climb to see the view point over the city. The ruins are incredible in the setting sunlight.

    Wow, that monastery at the foot of the cliff on the edge of the water is breathtaking! And you chose the perfect restaurant with that amazing view! The stuffed fish looked so yum!
    Amazing how affordable it is to rent a car! Lol, in South Africa the norm is also stick shift 😅
    Those little stone houses looks like something out of a fairytale movie 🥰
    Love your accommodation, especially the view! And the price 😅

    Such an amazing idea to visit Bosnia after Croatia! We were always amazed by how close Bosnia was from Dubrovnik! The darwish house is amazingly located near the water, very beautiful! Good thing you didn't visit in the middle of summer, it would have been so hard to travel there!

    Hey guys these are some great day trip options. I was surprised at how inexpensive it is to get around... although waiting an hour and a half for a bus is a bit long. Thank goodness David can drive a stick shift so you were able to chase more waterfalls!
    Your apartment looked soo nice. While the inside was very modern I think my fave part was the mountain view 😁

    Question...how do you guys find the places you stay/rent?

    • @LucasWorldTravel
      @LucasWorldTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In Europe and Latin America booking.com and Airbnb are the best for finding apartment rentals. In Asia we used Expedia quite a bit too, but Expedia doesn’t have as good of selection in Europe for some reason.

    That water you can drink straight from river, the villagers do. National Geographical came out to measure depth of source under mountain ⛰ and couldn't measure it as they couldn't find bottom.....river is second deepest in Europe

    • @LucasWorldTravel
      @LucasWorldTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very interesting! Definitely didn't know that so thanks for sharing!

    • @fikaa2388
      @fikaa2388 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was also determined that there must be two springs inside the mountain because they measured two different water temperatures! And with all that, it is the strongest source of drinking water in Europe, with an average of fifty five thousand liters per second of fresh clean drinking water!

    Hi did you guys went there during autumn? Was it in November? And how many hours did you guys spent in Počitelj? Because I wanted to estimate the time since I plan to cover Kravice Waterfall, Počitelj, The Dervish House, and a lil bit of Mostar in one day.

    • @LucasWorldTravel
      @LucasWorldTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I’d say we spent about and hour in Pocitelj. It’s quite small. If you get an early start your itinerary might be possible t though but it will be quick rushed.
