Jess. My wife went thru Breast Cancer. Surgery and Lymph Nodes surgery. 9 infusions, 20 applications of radiation. She did not experience your low times. But she is 80 years old and it did take its toll. Loss of Hair, sleeping and discomfort.. But the end result Cancer Free and you will have same results. Stay well and positive. We think of you lots.
I went from scared, to sick & weak, to angry, to just wanting to give up. They are just phases. 3 yrs cancer free now and so happy for the extra life. Hang in there, you will be glad you did and soon enough this will be over.❤
The fact that you’ve been able to capture vlogs along this journey for us is really quite incredible. I have followed this through your Mom’s channel and have cried so many times for all of you. So, so happy that this chapter is over for you and you can continue your wonderful life!
Hi Jess and Sandra. I'm old enough to be your grandmother but we have a lot in common. I just realized I was not subscribed to youts or your mom's channelss, but I am now. I grew up on a beef farm in Waterford Pennsylvania. Sandra I definitely can relate to you saying that you love farming. It's the greatest way to live! And Jess, I can relate to you in that I have lymphoma. Ironically, my cancer is a direct result of the chemical that we used for years. You are such an inspiration. They found a lump in my breast 2 years ago but I have been avoiding the surgery and likely chemo that would probably follow. You may have saved my life. You and your strength and determination inspired me to go forward. I have an appointment in 2 weeks. After watching you concur this disease and treatment I have found the strength to move on with whatever is coming. You are my inspiration and I thank you and your mother for lifting me up and giving me the strength I've been needing!
Hi Jen thank you for sharing your story and getting the inspiration to go forward with your own treatment. Prayers for your upcoming journey I know you will be fine. 🙏🥰💜
Hang in there girl! It's a hard row ahead of you, but don't give up on treatments. Stay in touch and know many people are cheering for you! Best of luck!
Thank you for doing a blog from your perspective even though you are feeling so bad. My prayers that the treatment is successful and you won't ever have to go through this again❤
I'm old enough to be your mom. I am so very proud of your bravery, honesty, and fight in this journey, sharing raw emotions. So very. Very proud. Hugs to you and your mom for raising such an amazing daughter. ❤
Jess, I'm old enough to be your grandmother! My daughter was born with less than 1/2 an immune system. I won't bore you with the details, but after hundreds of hospital visits, she is now a mother herself, and runs an ambulance company. Here's a method I used with her: I would have her visualize being an adult and what she would do for work. By focusing on her future, she helped herself get to that future! Take care, Jess! Looking forward to seeing you get past this rough time!
You are not a baby. I think you are an incredibly strong and brave young woman. I have been a follower of your mom's channel for a few years now. I am thankful for you and your mom for sharing your cancer journey with us. I am sure that your strength has been an inspiration to others who are facing similar battles. Enjoy this Autumn! You definitely have earned it.🍁🍁🍂🍂🍁🍁
I’m going to ring that bell in 4 days. I can totally relate to “you have to feel so horrible to get better”. You are an inspiration and we WILL make it. Sending he-woman strength to you. 💪🏼 💜
Jess, you have no idea how happy I am that you are finally done with all that… Ever since Sandi shared some of what was happening, and when watched your blog explaining everything… Well, let me tell you, I have shared everything your wonderful mom has felt, I have shed tears that could have flooded a small village 😊 And even though I don’t know any of you personally (face to face) I have been watching every single blog Sandi has put out and I’ve been really when everything was good and I have felt everything when things weren’t good… I call you all my Canadian family, So dear young lady, keep putting that big and beautiful smile on your face and know that you have a MILLION along with Hundreds of thousands of people cheering you on and sending love and very good vibes so your body heals fast and you can continue to live your very best life… And as always, sending You, Sandi, Mark and Jack lots of love and an abundance of blessings from Pennsylvania 🇺🇸 🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼♥️ P.S. I apologize for making this so long…🤐😉
Jess you amaze me. I can’t believe you actually feel like vlogging, you are a trooper. Thanks for having courage to share. Looking forward to the days when you are feeling much better. So glad you have your chemo over with. Prayers and love.
Thanks, Jess, for being willing to rehash all you experienced during chemo in order to edit and post to your blog. ❤ I bet you were tempted to click on 'delete all' more than once. What a rough journey you had with treatment - I sincerely hope you are feeling tons better by now since you've finished. You and the rest of the Brock clan were in my heart and prayers again today. Hugs from here in Summerville, South Carolina! 🌞🌸
You'll find a new normal after you're done with treatment. One of the good things is, you learn about your body, family, and friends. Some will have turned in to help .. ..sometimes you will lose a few along the way. You're doing so great Jess, keep it up!!
Jess, Love your honesty. I still pray as we all do for you. You are quite amazing as a young lady. Can't wait to see you when it's all done! Love and prayers!
I watch your mom's channel so watched you on this journey. I cried with your mom watching the recap of your journey. I too have experienced chemo but not at the level you have endured. I'm proud of you because you have shown others that you can go through it and still smile. Want you to know that this old (lol) lady will be joining your bookclub with you and your mom. Ordered the book today. Keep smiling. Debbie from Pennsylvania.
It’s Sunday, August 20 and I am going to chemo for the second time on Monday morning. And I am having the same struggle that you did. But I will do the adult thing lol, I’m 59 years old, and I will show up and once again put this “medicine “through my body and go through the down cycle and then the recovery cycle.
Jess, remember who you are. You are a child of the Universe, and are divinely protected by so much love and strength. You have shown us the reality of life, sometimes it brings illness, and you stood up to the challenge and told your story to those who may be scared going through their own journey. Thank You, you’re a superstar ❤❤❤
Jessica, going through all those chemotherapy treatments is quite hard, but you are a strong girl and you can pull through. I hope that I do not have to go through it.
Thank you for your Vlog. I was just newly diagnosed with cancer this summer, and watching your videos makes everything so relatable with what I feel some days. I am not looking forward to my surgery, recovery and chemo, which have all been talked about for treatment plan. I will be having the ascending colon and appendix removed, along with some lymph nodes. I’m not looking forward to the travel, and know that our lovely Ontario winter driving could be a part of the routine.
Hi Lewie45. My heart is with you on your cancer journey. Just like when you are getting a new car, everywhere you look you see the same brand of car. I feel the same is with cancer. Every where I turn some one has or has had cancer. I was diagnosed with cancer this year. Like you and everyone else we all have fears and uncertainty about the treatment plan. Have faith in your care givers, and faith in the process. Your health care providers will go out of their way to help, answer questions and give great practical suggestions. My surgery went well, and wasn’t nearly as bad as everyone told me. Currently doing Radiation also ok so far, 6/16 treatments. Just take 1 step and 1 day at a time, hopefully your experience will be like mine and not nearly as bad as we imagine. Wishing you a speedy and non eventful recovery.
Praying for Jess you are on my mind everyday Jess. I cannot image what you are going though. I wish I could take the pain Fot you. Much love for you. Louisiana is praying for you.
I know on your posts you still have more treatments coming but in actual time you have finished ,,,I'm so glad it is over & now it's just a mater of recovering & starting the next chapter in your life ,,so exciting ,,looking forward to all the great things to come ,,like the book club you & your wonderful mom are starting ,,I can hardly wait on that to happen ,,so very thankful for your end of chemo but still keeping you in my prayers 🙏❤😊
Jess THANK YOU for posting these videos. I Dont know if you understand how much you r helping others to realize the side effects of cancer treatment and that it’s ok not to feel good, Thats it’s ok to actually hate the treatment. I know I do and there are definitely times when I could run from chemo! If only I had the energy lol. Never apologize to us Jess so glad you can share when you can
I have a friend who has a teratoma and is awaiting surgery. She. Is about your age and I am frightened for her. I am old enough to be her grandmother! I hope she has your strength and courage to face whatever this means for her!! Good bless you Jess! You are very brave and strong! Good luck in your recovery from chemo! Prayers that you will be cancer free after all you have through!!

Just watched Sandi and now Jess. Thanks for the Ali Hazelwood recommendation. As an avid reader I’m always looking for new authors to add to my reading list. Downloading now so that I’m ready for book club ❤️
I just noticed one thing about your chemo journey. So now that it’s over, I realized that at least you didn’t lose your eyebrows or lashes! So if you have a list of positive things about this time, that can be near the top. I’ve been following both you and Sandi for quite a few years. Your family have all have been in my prayers. I grew up on a family farm & ranch in Montana many years ago and really can identify with the Brocks. So glad chemo is in your rear view mirror!
You are such a beautiful energetic strong young woman! ❤ you are a breathe of sunshine! Your beauty and strength comes from your soul! ❤ hugs to you brave young lady!!❤
Once again, you have put together a vlog that is uplifting. You are an amazing person. Thanks for sharing this journey. Hope it has helped you as much as it has helped others. 😊
My uncle has been battling liver cancer. He said hes had enough chemo. He refused anymore treatments very early on. He went into hospice 2 days ago. Hes at peace with his choice and now his family is trying to be at peace with it,too. You can beat this. Your tribe is beside you literally willing love and recovery into your life. Blessings and comfort to you.
Well Jess I’ve been walking that walk too at 66. Ovarian cancer along with tumours in membrane lining the abdomen. I’m still healing from extensive surgery and a foot long incision. Chemo hit me hard as well, all the symptoms you’ve been going through, passing out, everything out of wack, hospitalized twice. Through it I’ve read my books and watched videos like yours, your Moms and others who make me laugh or just uplift me by their honest, real world. Chemo is done for me as well, onto a maintenance drug that can have some nasty side effects. So I’m thankful you’re out there along with your Mom, sharing your story as i journey too.
Hey Hun, I've suffer with insomnia since I had a head injury years ago. I use Delta 9 gummies because doctors are very particular about writing meds. Love you Sweetie! You've got a great attitude and that's what cancer treatment needs.
You are an incredible example for people on a similar journey. I have followed along through your mom's channel and sent tons of prayers. You're strength and concern for your parents is moving.
I adore to read too , reading helped me tremendously every time I went to the ER , in every hospital stay , surgery and test . Time passes faster and it distract you . I adore taking baths too , sadly i do not have a bathtub. Yours is amazing
Aww baby girl, God bless you, your beautiful, I'm going to be praying for you, and you'll be done with this soon and you'll be better and back to normal, I ran across your channel looking at a video a medical student made, your so precious and strong, we love you
Just finished watching your Mom's channel. You are a brave young woman. I also love to read so am happy to see young people fall in love with reading. Count me in for the book club. 📚❤🇨🇦
So glad you are finally through this. I know it was a sucky time but now it’s a crazy story for your kids. Sent a anti-nausea device. Hope you got it. Love to know if it worked.
Hello dear Sweet Jessica! Your story and bringing us along through your brave fight has been truly inspiring. I just can only imagine how you and your family and friends have gathered the strength during the worst of times throughout the last few months! You are a TRUE WARRIOR! You and your Mom have gotten me excited about your 'Book Club'! I haven't picked up an actual book since my University years back in the early 90's. Even now, I tend to 'listen' because of the lack of concentration on my part. As soon as I finished watching your stream and you made your first book suggestion, I immediately went to Audible and used one of my credits for 'Love, Theoretically'. I am so excited and look forward to a renewed interest in books!! Thanks to both you, Jessica, and your wonderful Mom, Sandi! I started watching your Mom's channel almost 2 years ago and just love the little lambys and even all of the harvesting and machinery repairs! Just such a joy that continues to bring constant laughter and smiles to my face since I am a disabled Senior who stays at home with my King Buddha (my constant companion and service kitty). Ok...I will stop blathering...just know that a lady in Vancouver sends loads of love and tons of hugs your way! 🦅🪶❣
Dear Jessica I have watched your ordeal, have laughed and cried with you and Sandi, some days wishing I could be there just to give you both a hug. You are inspirational and I’m sure your vlogs will help a lot of people out there. I have just received news my 2 year old granddaughter has leukaemia and she started Chemo today so from watching you I feel better and know we’ll get through this ordeal so thank you , you beautiful lovely warrior you are always in my heart.
Hi Jess so pleased you still have the energy to vlog sometimes it’s great to see you. You look so pretty ❤ love your journaling idea👍🏻 wishing you a speedy recovery, lots of love xxxx
Thank you for choosing to share parts of your treatment journey. It’s so good to know you are through the chemo. Looking forward to the results when they do the re-check. Congrats to you for getting your Mom to read fiction! When I can’t get to sleep, I listen to either children’s fairytales, The Wizard of Oz, or a non-fiction book I’ve previous heard. I set the sleep timer on audible for 30min. Rarely do I need to reset them.
Hi Jess, Melatonin helps you fall asleep sometimes. It doesn’t affect me in the least. But it helps my guys sleep. The pumpkins maybe door stops? Helps to keep doors open. I hate those child proof lids. They have a place, I get that. But goodness they can be hard to open. How was the movie? I’ve heard a lot about it. You are great Jess. I love watching you and your Mama. Thank you!
Wishing you all the best none of the sickness meds ever helped me bloody awful said I would never do it again but my cancer came back and surprise I did just finished chemo on and up for all us cancer patients ❤❤❤
Dearest Jessica, when I went through two yrs of horrible chemo and treatments. I was put on Cymbal and Ativan 2mg. For sleep. It saved me! I was twice your age and my body just could not take the chemo and no rest. Gods speed, sweet dear. Thinking of you during the very very difficult struggle!
Wow not having lowtimes during chemo is unheard of. She must be so strongg
Respectfully, your wife may have not wanted you to know that she had low times, to protect you from that.
Glad she is doing well!❤
Continued good health to your wife, hope you're both doing well now ❤️
I went from scared, to sick & weak, to angry, to just wanting to give up. They are just phases. 3 yrs cancer free now and so happy for the extra life. Hang in there, you will be glad you did and soon enough this will be over.❤

Amen to that!
How are you ?
Glad you have little tiny bursts of “normal” times, movies, book and fall shopping. Yes the acorn candle holder is very cute!
Hope you all having a good day today

Your room is your special place not messy, it show how intelligent you are. ❤
Just watched Sandi and now Jess. Thanks for the Ali Hazelwood recommendation. As an avid reader I’m always looking for new authors to add to my reading list. Downloading now so that I’m ready for book club ❤️
You are not a baby. You are doing what you need to do to get better. Fight on, Jess!
Through this journey you have found different roads to travel and your kicking Butt. Keep being Jess because you make it a better world.
Jess you are one of the strongest young women I know. Stay strong. You are the greatest person.

It never ceases to amaze me how beautifully healthy chemo patients can appear. Blessings and prayers!
Hang in there Jess. You are almost finished! It will get so much better soon!!❤
I hope this treatment succeeds and that you won't have to go through this again ❤. I'm sending you hugs and good vibes.
I love so much how you are looking forward to Autumn! That is a smart thing to do. I love Autumn so much. Stay strong, lady.
Aww baby girl, God bless you, your beautiful, I'm going to be praying for you, and you'll be done with this soon and you'll be better and back to normal, I ran across your channel looking at a video a medical student made, your so precious and strong, we love you
Plain and simple, love you Jess and hope you get back at it soon!! You have wrapped me around your finger and I’m praying for your health ❤
Jess, you’ve truly gotten people reading more than they usually do.
Good for you❣️
God Bless sweetheart! Jess you are such a treasure!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Just finished watching your Mom's channel. You are a brave young woman. I also love to read so am happy to see young people fall in love with reading. Count me in for the book club. 📚❤🇨🇦
So happy you finished chemo. Hope you feel better each day. ❤
So glad you are finally through this. I know it was a sucky time but now it’s a crazy story for your kids.
Sent a anti-nausea device. Hope you got it. Love to know if it worked.
WE LOVE YOU JESS!❤
You look gorgeous Jess. And you look amazing with the chemo ❤ keep working hard like you always do!!!!! Love you 🤟
Thank you for choosing to share parts of your treatment journey.
Thank you!
Thank you for recording your journey. I never thought of do that while going thru my treatments and your story will help others. Stay strong
Bless you for sharing your journey. I am amazed at your strength and positive attitude.

You have such a great attitude and perspective on this illness Jess. I can't wait to hear that you've kicked it's ass!!
