WS Encanto: (1:33): As for Encanto, one of my favorite parts is at 1:33. In this part of the piece, you can hear all sides of the ensemble coming together, with percussion keeping a fast tempo. The melody is largely composed of the tenor and alto saxophones, as well as the high brass, whilst the low winds, low brass, and woodwinds provide a steady harmony, keeping timing. It is a great start to several measures of unity amongst the band. Encanto: (3:21): At 3:21, the band once again comes together for a single chord. What I love about this is that this is just one chord that sounds so powerful, due to its dynamic. This is what the band should truthfully strive for to emit a powerful aura with a single chord.
I played this on Baritone-Euphonium in middle school advanced band back in the early 1990’s. This was my favorite of all the stuff we did and this is the song we played when we went to State competition and for all superior ratings. This song struck me deeply and I’ve never forgotten it and I’m now a professional musician in several working bands.
I've heard other people say this is lame, but I loved playing this piece in highschool and it's still one of my favourites now! The ending gives me such a thrill.
I currently play this as the only bassoonist in my entire middle school. The held b flat is my favorite part, which says a lot about what kind of musician I am. Great piece, beautiful flute solo, great blend of lows and highs
i remember playing this piece in 8th grade~ (granted i'm currently a 9th grader but this piece is still really fresh in my mind) and all i remember is our band director telling out timpani player to say this to herself while playing her part, "i play the drums yeah yeah yeah" and it worked really well for her! it was a delightful piece to play :D
The person playing timpani in this doesn't need help or anything because they are pretty good. But I'm just gonna think of this every time while I play the bells part. Which I got because I wasn't there the day my band director gave us the music. So it's really easy and I basically just get to listen to this cool song lol.
Jon Smith My trumpets don't like it either. Out of our four songs, I think this is the least "meh". I could have picked better for the other three, but I think this one is pretty good.

This sounds like a song that plays at the end of your adventure and right at the first page turn at 0:45 it’s like they’re recounting the stories your heroes went on to do in the future and then the end being the legend of your party’s final grand adventure together.
I had just played this for my high school concert, and i was bass drum. It brought a smile to my face when the instruments all sounded so harmonizing along with my part!

I have a rather moderate case of Synesthesia, a disorder that causes sufferers to feel and experience music far beyond just hearing it. In my instance, I can see it as an array of colors and scenes and rather vivid imagery. I've found myself watching bands perform in dimly lit auditoriums and experiencing a moment of brilliance as vibrant swirls of color painted the room. Some people consider this a weakness but I've found a clever way of using it to my advantage. Music has always moved me to begin with, in certain instances it's literally changed my life, and, luckily, I've found a way to pay it back. I listen to compositions such as this and, as an artist, create works of art to help visualize what these make me see and imagine. Illustrating this piece has proven to be far more interesting than I expected it to be. The tone of the music, in general, feels so ethereal and- as the title implies- enchanting. It's so entertaining to create a magical landscape and fill it with other-worldly creatures as a way of grasping what this music truly makes me see.
Played this in 8th grade Honor Band like 12 years ago. I played the Tuba part as a bass player. I remember in 7th grade getting the trumpet solo. It was so badass at the time
I love trumpet solos right after big melodic parts like in this piece @3:04. It just reinforces the line, it's so good 🤤. One of the many things I love about band music
Played this in 8th grade in the SC All State Junior Band. Snare part was fun.
This song is amazing to play as a sax and all the other parts sound amazing to. My band teacher is also a literal band god. Akey
Played this my senior year of high school, 11 years ago. Tenor Saxophone!
I recall playing this during the spring concert, my reed broke mid song and jesus I squeaked so much you'd think I was strangling a dog toy to death. 😂
Lol, My horn broke in the middle of a concert
Played this a couple of weekends ago on T Sax, I loved it but we never had the melody.
3:05 That solo hits so hard....
I loved playing the timpani on this piece, so fun
