Thank you for the detailed instruction to open up the machine. I managed to save $400 to replace the leaking hose by doing this myself. I had difficulty inserting the middle hose and used your soap method to finally get it in. I would also suggest if anyone else wanted to do this themselves, get some screw organizer and make sure you know where each screw is from.

Great info. !! Thanks.. Must one remove the front door as well as the back door to be able to replace the hose/ bellows?

I used to own a Kenmore HE3 front load. When the tub-to-pump hose needed cleaning it was so so so much easier to access. The Kenmore's front panel is two pieces. Two screws to remove the lower portion. Oh how I miss thee, Kenmore.

If you go up thru the bottom of washer leaning it over you can change it without taking apart just start at pump end first

The one advantage of taking off some panels is you can run a cycle and see where the leak is. My leak was the hose on top of the drum...

While going through this tutorial and taking all of that apart, I got to the part where I stuff the door bellow in and guess what I noticed; just like in your other video, A TEAR IN THE BELLOW. So looks like I've found the problem. Pretty sure it's not the pump hose. thanks bud

Can you tell me why the tube from "Y" tube conector to steam port on my LG WM3470HVA front load washer swells and leaks at the connector? It seems like there is a build up of pressure in the tube and it causes a spray at the "Y" connector. There are a series of tubes that make up that singe line with a bunch of connectors with orange and blue colored check valve or screens in the series of tubes. I tried blowing through the tube and only a little air would go through. The tube leads to the front part of the washer drum. Can't find anything about it online. HELP

Your question is a year old so guessing you either figured this out, paid someone to fix it or got a new washer. Is your Y connector outside the machine by the water supply (similar fitting to a garden hose) or inside the washer (~7 mm diameter)? If outside, there could be a Y enabling a direct connection for the washer and another for the steam feature. The water inlet assembly inside the washer that connect to that water supply has blue, red/orange connectors/valves and could be stuck shut/bad (cold assembly ~25 bucks). If it's a Y in the drain line, the hose could be clogged with sand and cause a leak in the hose (solution: replace it). It could also mess up the drain pump (~30). Hope that helps.

Did you put that back hose on twice?

Holy Cow... you have to take the whole washer apart just to change the hose? Horrible design ... the hose could have been replaced MUCH easier with a removable bottom panel!
