We Tried to Retrim a VW T4 Cab Roof - You Won’t Believe What Happened Next!!

So, it's only taken me 10mths to actually do the T4s roof lining, and I'll be honest, it didn't come out quite as expected. But hey, it's done.

Just bought 1m x 2m of light grey faux suede roof lining material with a 2mm foam backing. £12 delivered from Vandalized. I have a few tins of spray glue left over from trimming the rear of the van.
It took a couple of hours to remove the old foam and adhesive once the lining was taken off. Finishing by wiping the high density foam down 5 times with isopropyl alcohol.
Soon as it stops raining I'll get it fitted and upload a video.

I used 4way stretch carpet on the Crafter , it looked excellent, the important thing is that you are happy with it Ian 🤙

Oddly enough I've used both in the past, no idea why it didn't stick, but like you say, I'm happy with it..😊
