I was about to make the same comment! Thats insane! Not to mention exactly what Justin said he wouldn't do, because that is the first step to taking all your guns, almost exactly like Adolph... Sad but Trudeau!
the regualations do not specifiy pistol or rifle for NON PAL only mention you can count on is PaL rated pistols would be the norm like regual firearms no hunting with pal rated pistols. so if you want to know about non pal pistols if you can still use them then you have to call your local MNR to get the to be clear .. as the regulations only say All Air And Pellet Guns you must have a PAL now to hunt with them which those words but PAL and NON PAL in the same catagory , the regulaations only say you can not hunt with restricted guns which would be pistols and rifles and shotguns thats are classed as restricted so the rest i would think would be no problem but the use the the word hunting with a Gun air or pellet thats the tricky part because they dont say non pal they just say air and pellet guns all now need a pal to hunt with them ..
Never understood why I need a license to go buy an air gun… but don’t need one for a bow or crossbow…. Arrows do 10x more damage… and black powder firearms don’t require a license but you need one to buy black powder
you dont need a licence to buy a non pal airgun in canada but as of this year you have to have. a PAL to hunt with one thats non pal the black powder never needed a licence but it does now its getting really stupid with the laws
yup we sure can but you need pal to hunt with it and you need a pal to buy the black powder now rules changed on them a few years ago yet you dont need a pal to buy them
Yes, a jumbled mess pretty much explains the varied legislations across this country pertaining to airguns. As someone that owns several airguns, Pal and sub Pal and has to contend with constantly changing rules it is hard to keep up with all the nuances of what politicians come up with. Thanks for trying to shed some light on the incredibly complicated laws that regulate those fond of this hobby. To add to the confusion, last week our PM The Trudeaux decided that in order for his party to earn more votes with old ladies and clueless pacifists that it'd be a good idea to further ban firearms, totally around 1,500 different models - from legitimate legal owners. I think it's a matter of time until the Liberal party thinks it'd earn them more votes by also criminalize airgun owners. Bottom line: it's time for The Trudeaux to be gone. Since the NDP and Party Quebecois went along with The Trudeaux plan, the only option is to vote Conservative come next election. It's time to get rid of the stupidity ruining this country.
thank you i do my best ,as for the current other issue i agree we need a change of leadership and we need all of our stuff back and yes even iam Conservative all the way
@@Thomas-dz4eg non pal 22 cal rifles are great for hunting grouse rabbit and squirels people have been doing it for dechades but i guess you didnt know that most 22 cal rifles shootr around 460 feet per second on average some a bit more but at 460 that is 6.8 foot pounds of energy with is perfect with in 20 yards for such game so you need to go back and get educated on non pal airguns , now .177 call id never hunt with even in a pal rated airgun ..17 cal takes almost 2x the speed aferage pellet weight to be the same at .22 cal to get the same FPE ss a 22 cal is 80% more FPE, study up youll learn lots..

No gun powder…not a firearm!🤠🇺🇸
well in Canada the rules are very different my friend read Canadain law on what a Firearm is and is not
Any idea what the rules are for using a non-pal pellet gun pistol for hunting small game? Specifically interested in grouse in BC and AB?

Why would you even want to hunt with such a low powered firearm? Better off to get your PAL and buy a 22LR.
