This was an absolutely stunning show. We watched from the balcony and absolutely enjoyed seeing the audience recognize the movement of the band and the cameos they merged with. Jerry was definitely at this one. The whole band was extremely psychedelic, but David really tapped into something special. We even met the very down to earth david h. after the show. What a selfless class act. Humble musicians are still around. I hope everyone is able to enjoy them while they're still here.
Because Jerry Garcia became a Lobos fan, I saw them open for the Grateful Dead in 1988, and thv cose are now the 2 bands I've seen live more than any other. My son and I were fortunate enough to be at this show, so it's fun to relive some memories. Rather appropriate that Dave got to play Jerry's Alligator guitar at this show!
I saw them for the first time in California in 1984, my first trip to the US, they were so good. Next time was in Deptford in south east London at the Albany Empire, such a different place but they were magnificent.
Been into Los Lobos since How Will The Wolf Survive. Saw them many times once with the Blasters and then at the old Street Scene in San Diego with the Blasters and the Neville Bros….thought I was in heaven!
@thekarachannel4281 this really is a gret recording of a historic show! At which Fillmore Theater was this concert performed? Thank you for posting this!
I really wish there was a "LOVE" button for this. It's so wonderful!
Such a great band!
