    Man, so glad I found this. Reading the cards is one thing but chains fuck me up, especially when effects are different and don't even interact with the previous chain or take part in a seperate phase.

      I'd also like to say for anyone trying to get into the tcg, DO NOT USE MASTER DUEL! The banlist are different and there's also cards that, like the different versions of pokemon, are only in ocg (Japanese version) or tcg.

      Sent your channel to all my YGO friends. We’re slowly getting back into the game but after watching the YCS yesterday, our collective minds were blown. Your videos are making things make sense, so we appreciate you!!

      Some duelists may be watching this to learn master duel. The only real difference with regards to the rules is that trigger effects in hand are treated as quick effects. Otherwise most of my videos will apply to any yugioh.

    You forgot "also, after that" (sequential, no requirements between them, introduced in 2014 so no official article).
    It's possible to have sequential and both required, but that's mostly for Ritual and Fusion summons.

    Can you use the example of Ash vs those Conjunctions?

    • @LegacyCrusaders
      @LegacyCrusaders  ปีที่แล้ว

      When the chain link meets the condition of ash regardless of the effect of part of the first or second part of the conjunction.

      So for example: En Shuffle; if Ash is used on it; The monster wouldn't be shuffled into the deck and no special summon would happen. Is that correct?

    • @LegacyCrusaders
      @LegacyCrusaders  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Correct negate it all.

    • @mapeus

      Ash just negates the whole effect and nothing happens

      Pretty sure he didn't mean bitches. It was just players who told him that he didn't know how to resolve chains and now he is happy he found this video

    How about semicolons and colons? : ;

    • @LegacyCrusaders
      @LegacyCrusaders  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They indicate a card activates, the requirements to activate it, and whatever is before a semi colon is done before any cards can be chained.

    Force yugioh players to read the entire Bible or burn their collection if they refuse

    Dude the torrential tribute that you are showing on this example has and errata that it seems mandatory effect not optional I hate this erratas.
    •When something happens =mandatory
    •When something happens You can
    Optional = miss timing
    •Activate only When something happens
    = miss timing ⏱️
