ALL, THERE ARE A FEW SPOILERS IN THIS LIST, SPECIFICALLY FOR SLEEPAWAY CAMP AND ORPHAN. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! And thank you all for watching. Stay safe out there!!
Definitely Black Christmas!! That scene of her running down the stairs and Billy catching her by the hair freaked the bejesus out of me (and still does!) great list man!!
Curtains is very interesting, very different. The daytime ice skating kill, with the hag-masked killer you mentioned, is so unique and unexpected. A very well-done, unsettling scene. I see it mentioned below, however, I too was expecting My Boody Valentine's Harry Warden to be on the list. Very cool mask, great kills, etc.
What i love about Ted Levine is he is another of those incredible actors who can play a creepy psycho perfectly, but is also really good at the other end of the scale in the comedy -drama detective show, Monk as the police Captain.
1. Emma Spool (Psycho II) 2. Mary Shaw(Dead Silence) 3. Mick Taylor(Wolf Creek) 4. Mark Hoffman(SAW) 5. Roy Burns(Friday The 13th Part V A New Beginning) 6. Conal Cochran(Halloween III Season Of The Witch) 7. Rachel Lang(The Rage: Carrie II) 8. Dwight Renfield(The Night Flier) 9. Art The Clown(All Hallows Eve/Terrifier) 10. Reverend Lowe(Silver Bullet)
I always enjoy Drumdum videos. I agree with you on Mrs. Voorhees, because she is so ordinary. She is the lady who lives on your block. Her psychological issue is really scary upon first viewing. She is also sympathetic.
I can't agree more on your most underrated killer's in horror history, Pamela Voorhees was such an underrated killer's in the Friday the 13th franchise
Daniel Chavez Rusty Nail BUT ONLY A ONE TRICK PONY FOR JOYRIDE IMO. The second and third were funny, not terrifying. And LiLi Sobieski as the final girl? Wow after Glass house what happened to her?
I clicked on this video expecting to hate it and disagree with everything you said. Man, was I wrong. An interesting and very well thought out list. Your #1 popped into my head during your honorable mentions even though I’ve never seen it. But I think the director, Bob Clark is one of the most under rated directors ever. A Christmas classic, a universally loved slasher film, and what was thought to be just another stupid teenage comedy that broke all kinds of records when it came out-I saw it in the theater and the whole audience was laughing so much you couldn’t hear half the movie. And I love reading through the comments. So many great films and killers mentioned that I had either forgotten about or that didn’t pop into my head during your video.
Orphan is in my top 5 for sure! It's really hard for me to get on board with child killers in movies. I can never get into it bc I don't believe a child can over power and out smart adults. Then came Orphan! Finally a plot twist I didn't see coming that made the entire movie make perfect sense. The little girl who played Esther was incredible! Definitely deserves more credit bc that character was so complex and had so many layers. The fact a real 10 year old could play that character blew my mind for sure!
Colonel Herzog/Dead Snow,The Prowler,Officer Cordell/Maniac Cop,Belial/Basket Case,Frank Zito/Maniac,The Tall Man,Victor Crowley,Bubba/Dark Night Of The Scarecrow...
I am so happy you mentioned Payton from The Hand That Rocks The Cradle and Esther from The Orphan, both great characters\ actress and both great underrated movies that people really don't talk about!!! Keep up your awesome video!
My favorite underrated horror movie killer is The Tall Man from my favorite horror movie from the 70s Phantasm(1979). I love the rest this film series but the original is the best. I remember seeing this film when it first came out. I was in Miami at the time.
Great list! This is a great way for me to expand my horror experience! Thank you. I hope you make another of these lists. There are so many underrated killers to cover.
I think Krug from the original, Wes Craven’s, The Last House on the Left is not as widely known as Voorhees, Krueger, or Myers. He and his band of outlaws were sick and twisted. They were very ordinary, they didn’t wear marketable masks or catchy wardrobes. They were very effective though.
I agree 100 percent Peyton from The Hand That Rocks The Cradle is difinitely a unrated killer and it's a unrated classic thriller from 1992. Here is two unrated killers i thought about. 1)Conal Cochran from Halloween III 2)Rebecca from The Roommate
Hey lee have you seen the masters of horror series that use to come on showtime .there s a episode called pick me up where two pycsho killer one s a trucker and one s a hitchiker
Black Christmas is easily my top 3 horror movies for me. I loved Billy so much he and how he was a huge mystery and overall it’s just a memorable slasher.
Great list Lee. I'm with you on the buffalo Bill character. Ted Levine did a phenomenal job. Such a creepy and disturbing character. "Don't hurt my precious!" And of course you can't go wrong with Billy from Black Christmas. Another classic old school horror film. Really love those top 10 lists. Keep it up!
Since I am new to your channel I watch in reverse. I saw part 2 before part 1. I love all of your list so far. Ted Levine is the nice police chief in Monk. Now that's range.
Awesome list. Definitely might have to do an updated one like you said, great topic and fun to discuss, glad to see Billy make the list, Black Christmas is terrific
I was so young/naive when I saw Sleepaway Camp, I didn't even get the ending, but when I saw it later as an adult (without hearing anyone talk about it), my eyes popped and jaw dropped.
Great list and video as always man. I really enjoyed this one and giving love to all the overlooked horror villains. My pick is a bit obscure but my pick is John Kirby in Silent Rage. Brian Libby did an amazing job playing a creepy, silent killer. Silent Rage is an all time favorite of mine and it is my top favorite Chuck Norris film. I've always thought of Silent Rage as sort of, Chuck Norris vs Michael Myers. Take care Lee. ✌
Love that you choose Rebecca DeMornay and of course "Billy" from Black Xmas - just great.Good catch that Silence had TWO great killers, I love that movie but didn't even realize that til you mentioned it. I also thought of John Ryder from the Hitcher (the origonal with Rutger Hauer) as well as Rutger Hauer's terrorist character in (non horror) Nighthawks. I thought Kenny from Terror Train was great, he took such great sadistic joy in his kills and letting his victim know who he really was right behind he killed them. Very unique character and terrific acting
some good stuff in here Lee..I really enjoy the way you describe, dissect, and analyze movies.I hope to be able to do that one day in my humble reviews..Keep up the good work!!
I LOVE the collector and the collection was pretty good too. But the song playing at the end of the first movie, "BEAST," is Everything!!! Another great list, lee. Now, off to watch part 2!!
Interesting list lee. I agree with the collector, esther and buffalo bill. Imma have to check out the movies I haven't seen with the killers I didn't know of.
The Tall Man from Phantasm, Art The Clown, The Djinn from Wishmaster, Donald Kohler ( Don't Go In The House, creepiest of all time) and Frank Zito (from the original Maniac) are some other favorites as well
Yes! Thank you for mentioning Cropsy, Russ and Billy, such a good video! Also thanks to The Burning I found your channel almost 3 years ago now when you reviewed the movie few years ago :)
The ones that are memorable to me: The iconic "blue collar/masked" killers. Sheriff Frazer aka Rusty Pitchfork from The Prowler & Harry Warden from My Bloody Valentine. One trick ponys;but the estetitics & actual kills are hard to forget!
Good list my list is something like this truly underrated gems!! 1. Nikos Karamanlis from Anthropophagus 2. Sardu and Ralphus from Bloodsucking Freaks 3. Gunther from The Funhouse 4. The 4 wealthy men from Salo Or the 120 Days of Sodom 5. Cropsy Maniac from The Burning 6. The Tall Man from Phantasm 7. The Djinn from Wishmaster 8. Choptop from TX Chainsaw Massacre 2 9. Frank Zito from Maniac 10. Angela Baker from Sleepaway Camp
Thanks for Cropsy, Leslie Vernon. A great performance by Jennifer Jason Leigh in single white female i admit. I would also have passed on Thompson in Cobra but i love this movie so much, i'll agree it's a slasher. A surprising list to say the least. Horace Pinker is one of my favorite underrated name in horror for my part.
The first movie I thought of with this list is STRANGELAND with Dee Snider as Captain Howdy! Have you seen that one?? If not, I feel like you might enjoy it quite a bit.
Thank you for an interesting list, dear Lee! If I would have to make my own, it would probably be like this (in mixed order).. much more than ten, but I couldn’t resist - love them all for different reasons: Billy from Black Christmas; Killer (no spoilers) from What Lies Beneath; Man & Woman from People Under the Stairs; Killer (no spoilers) from Haute Tension; Woman in black from The Woman in Black; Creeper from Jeepers Creepers; Night Owl from Stage Fright; Killer (no spoilers) from Tenebrae; Killer (no spoilers) from Bird with the Crystal Plumage; Killer (no spoilers) from Four Flies on Grey Velvet; Killer (no spoilers) from Deep Red; Killer (no spoilers) from Eyes of Laura Mars; Jack the Ripper from Murder by Decree; Creep from Creep; Killer (no spoilers) from Ms. 45; Stuntman Mike from Death Proof; J.D. from Heathers; Jack from The House that Jack Built; Dr. Anton Phibes from The Abominable Dr. Phibes; Esther from Orphan; Killer (no spoilers) from Alice Sweet Alice; Cheryl from Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker; Harry from Christmas Evil.
Great list man..but I would mention my favorite non slasher killers...i some kinda way..therefore 1. Carl Rudolph Stargher (the cell) 2. Patrick Bateman (American Psyco) 3. Casanova and the Gentleman Caller (kiss the girls) 4. The puppeteer (from the movie Mindhunters- played by Johhny Lee Miller) 5. The Puppeteer ( from Dario Argentoś Sleepless) 6. Carter MC Mullan (from Hostel 3) 7. ?/ That guy from the purge tv series season 1..I really loved the guy..you know that un -employee factory guy who sets a rampage over his former classmates and collegues... 8. Otis Driftwood (house of 1000 corpses, devils rejects and 3 from hell) 9. Mickey and Mallory (natural born killers) 10. Stuntman Mike (Death Proof)
Rebecca De Mornay gave an stellar performance in THTRTC. Her being a demented nanny can give anyone nightmares. I think I found what I'm watching today. Thanks bro, and great selections.
I'd been meaning to ask if you'd seen The Collector movies but I kept forgetting lol. Good shit. Hope they don't drop the ball with the upcoming 3rd entry.
I absolutely loved this! There really are so many killers that don’t get enough credit and also some movies that didn’t get enough love overall. Personally Annie Wilkes and Pamela Voorhees would have been in my top 10 and agree with most Rusty Nail is a great one. Another one that maybe doesn’t get as much love as I’d like is The Creeper from Jeepers Creepers.
I WANT YOUR EYES PIG!! ... dude, Cobra is great, one of my favorite Stallone flicks... great list as always!.. a couple of my own personal underrated horror killers.. - Malachi from Children of the Corn - Delbert Grady from The Shining - Conal Cochran from Halloween 3
For me it’s Brenda Bates from Urban Legend, Rusty Nail from Joyride, Mrs, Tredoni from Alice Sweet Alice, Blade from the Puppet Master films, Candyman, Mick Taylor from Wolf Creek, Decker from Nightbreed, Esther from Orphan, The Stepfather from the 1987 The Stepfather, and Dollface, Pin-Up Girl and Man In The Mask from The Strangers. Dammit I forgot The Collecter from The Collecter and The Fisherman from IKWYDLS, those 2 as well.
The blind guy from Don’t Breathe, the crawlers from The Descent, the monsters from Grave Encounters, the killer from House of Wax, the mirror from Oculus, Mama from Mama, Jennifer from Jennifer’s Body, the demon from Ouija: origin of evil, baaguul from Sinister
Funny you mention drills. I mentioned it before on your FB page about the movie called "the driller killer". U should check it out. It's one of those obscure low budget flicks but very weird and cool. I'm not sure if it's on there now, but it used to be on I think Amazon or Tubi. I know it was one of those. Check it out man. The killer does some serious damage with that drill. Lol
Creeper from Jeepers Creepers will always be underrated. He needs more recognition for coming in while Michael, Jason, and Freddy made an exit. He picked up the pieces.
Jennifer Jason Leigh is my favorite actress. She's played some wicked characters over the years, culminating with Daisy Domergue in Hateful Eight. She and Rebecca Demornay are both awesome in these parts. I saw both of those flicks in the theater too lol.
Lee this is an awesome list. I have seen all of these movies and I agree with u 💯 %. Though I do feel you you need to watch Trick. If you do you would have him on this list as well. Not to mention the whole point of the movie is brilliant. Anyway great list Lee as always!! Be safe my friend and till the next video. ✌️
ALL, THERE ARE A FEW SPOILERS IN THIS LIST, SPECIFICALLY FOR SLEEPAWAY CAMP AND ORPHAN. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! And thank you all for watching. Stay safe out there!!
somebody at Scream Factory should take the opportunity to bring The Loved Ones and Let The Right One In on BluRay with a 4K restoration
I think mick Taylor from wolf creek could have made the list but good picks 👍
Connor Popplewell with excellence
Drumdums you had me dying I’m watching your video I missed the famous line it put the lotion in the basket
Haha thanks Richard!
Pamela is my all time number 1 underrated killer. Great video brother
Hell yeah brother. I have always given her props.
I like Terry O Quinn from the Stepfather.
Agreed
Definitely Black Christmas!! That scene of her running down the stairs and Billy catching her by the hair freaked the bejesus out of me (and still does!) great list man!!
The Toothfairy from Manhunter played with much creepiness by Tom Noonan.
"Dollarhyde"!!!!
He is so creepy, it makes the movie for me.
don't call him that
he is THE GREAT RED DRAGON
Curtains is very interesting, very different. The daytime ice skating kill, with the hag-masked killer you mentioned, is so unique and unexpected. A very well-done, unsettling scene.
I see it mentioned below, however, I too was expecting My Boody Valentine's Harry Warden to be on the list. Very cool mask, great kills, etc.
Great list, I think The Stepfather is pretty good and maybe Killer Klowns from Outer Space? Not sure if they count, they're a bit more well known now.
The first step father movie was scary as shit when i was a kid
Leslie Vernon is My Favorite Horror Killer character of the 2000s and he truly Underrated and a Savage Killer.
Mine as well I love Lesile Vernon
Black Christmas's Billy will forever be underrated for me
What i love about Ted Levine is he is another of those incredible actors who can play a creepy psycho perfectly, but is also really good at the other end of the scale in the comedy -drama detective show, Monk as the police Captain.
Agreed. He's extremely versatile.
1. Emma Spool (Psycho II)
2. Mary Shaw(Dead Silence)
3. Mick Taylor(Wolf Creek)
4. Mark Hoffman(SAW)
5. Roy Burns(Friday The 13th Part V A New Beginning)
6. Conal Cochran(Halloween III Season Of The Witch)
7. Rachel Lang(The Rage: Carrie II)
8. Dwight Renfield(The Night Flier)
9. Art The Clown(All Hallows Eve/Terrifier)

I can't agree more on your most underrated killer's in horror history, Pamela Voorhees was such an underrated killer's in the Friday the 13th franchise
Yeah man imagine if there was never a sequel to the first Friday. It would truly be unique.
Cool that you included the Night Slasher, I think i will watch Cobra today
Amazing list, I would put rutgar hauers character from the hitcher on there, so creepy. Have a good day lee
Martin Mcloughlin He came so close to making the list.
Yes! Thank you for mentioning Killing of a Sacred Deer! I absolutely adore that film!
The dessert in "the stuff" , the tomatoes in" attack of the killer tomatoes " and the car tire in" the rubber".
Yes and the Coke machine in "maximum overdrive"
The basketball in " deadly fiend ".
Great list. Keep up the great work Lee my brother.
Thank you Chuck. Stay safe man.
@@DrumdumsOfficial I will. You stay safe too my friend.
For me it's Rusty Nail from "Joyride" and The Creeper from "Jeepers Creepers".
Daniel Chavez Rusty Nail BUT ONLY A ONE TRICK PONY FOR JOYRIDE IMO. The second and third were funny, not terrifying. And LiLi Sobieski as the final girl? Wow after Glass house what happened to her?
Hope they make another Joyride film. Love Rusty Nail!.
@@davidburrus3913 Lili Sobieski retired from acting.
Daniel Chavez well I wonder what she is doing. She had that awesome finale girl cache about her
@@davidburrus3913 She did that one bad Al Pacino movie called 88 minutes I think.
The guy from virtuosity and John lithgow in ricochet
Buffalo Bill is one of the most detestable villains I’ve ever seen
Great list man, can’t agree with u more about Billy from black Christmas. Such a creepy underrated character.
Always thought Mick Taylor from wolf creek was a underrated killer, thought he was terrifying. Great list Lee
And I love reading through the comments. So many great films and killers mentioned that I had either forgotten about or that didn’t pop into my head during your video.
Thank you Jim! There are so many horror/thriller villains out there that go unnoticed, so this list had to be made.
Black Christmas is my new favorite horror movie. It's SO good.
The Hand That Rocked The Cradle is in my must see list
Orphan is in my top 5 for sure! It's really hard for me to get on board with child killers in movies. I can never get into it bc I don't believe a child can over power and out smart adults. Yeah Orphan was just genius. That damn twist was crazy.
Colonel Herzog/Dead Snow,The Prowler,Officer Cordell/Maniac Cop,Belial/Basket Case,Frank Zito/Maniac,The Tall Man,Victor Crowley,Bubba/Dark Night Of The Scarecrow...

LoepkeVisionFilms Thank you for watching!
great review. I would have loved to see The Tall Man from Phantasm on there.
Thanks Dave. Unfortunately I'm not the biggest Phantasm guy. They're decent, but only ok for me. The first 2 are really fun though.
@@DrumdumsOfficial 😱😱😱lol i love that series.
I really gotta check out those Phantasm movies one day.
My favorite underrated horror movie killer is The Tall Man from my favorite horror movie from the 70s Phantasm(1979). I love the rest this film series but the original is the best. I remember seeing this film when it first came out. I was in Miami at the time.

Harry Warden/The Miner from My Bloody Valentine and the titular character from Dr Giggles.
Great list! This is a great way for me to expand my horror experience! Thank you. I hope you make another of these lists. There are so many underrated killers to cover.
Thana in Ms.45. A favorite of mine.
1)Conal Cochran from Halloween III
2)Rebecca from The Roommate
Great mention on Conal Cochran!
Genuinely shocked that the Hitcher didn’t make this list.
Rutger Hauer was amazingly creepy in that movie.
Look for it on my already recorded Underrated Horror Killer II!
Hey lee have you seen the masters of horror series that use to come on showtime .there s a episode called pick me up where two pycsho killer one s a trucker and one s a hitchiker

I really liked Single White Female but I don’t think I would call that a Horror movie though.
Dude I love Sleep Away Camp. Its one I missed on growing up. Thanks man for recommending it in the past.
Keep it up!
Thanks Michael. Yeah those top 2 are unbeatable.

Thank you! Billy is an all timer!
Just watched The Killing of a Sacred Deer last week and bro you nailed it, sick and awesome flick, Martin is nuts! Great pick
slay44r '83 I knew a lot of you guys probably skipped past that one, so I had to put it on here.
I was so young/naive when I saw Sleepaway Camp, I didn't even get the ending, but when I saw it later as an adult (without hearing anyone talk about it), my eyes popped and jaw dropped.
Hahaha so true. Without a doubt the most jaw dropping ending I've ever seen.
Ooohhh the hand that rocks the cradle that's a great one... Had to put that... again, Great list.
It's so good!
Great list and video as always man. I really enjoyed this one and giving love to all the overlooked horror villains. My pick is a bit obscure but my pick is John Kirby in Silent Rage. Rusty Nail was positively chilling! And voiced by Ted Levine, I believe. Great list!
Dino Reacts Thank you Dino!
What about the original Hitcher and Stepfather? Especially Stepfather, super slept on but part 1 and 2 are great
Hitcher almost made the list. It hurt not to put him on here!
@@DrumdumsOfficial Yeah he's great, are you a can of the Stepfather movies? "Wait, who am I here?"
Loved that Stepfather movie!
I WANT YOUR EYES PIG!! ... dude, Cobra is great, one of my favorite Stallone flicks... great list as always!..
a couple of my own personal underrated horror killers..
- Malachi from Children of the Corn
- Delbert Grady from The Shining
- Conal Cochran from Halloween 3
Dead Jester Cinema Malachi yes!!
Victor Crowley, Ben Willis, Esther and Candyman always seem like such underrated horror movie killers
Lol
Thats awesome u scrolled past my name...lol i didnt get picked but to see my name on the video is pretty damn cool 😂
Great video and awesome shirt man!
Creeper from Jeepers Creepers will always be underrated. He needs more recognition for coming in while Michael, Jason, and Freddy made an exit. He picked up the pieces.
I saw the movie Orphan and it was probably one of the most baffling movies I’ve ever seen
Jennifer Jason Leigh is my favorite actress. She's played some wicked characters over the years, culminating with Daisy Domergue in Hateful Eight. She and Rebecca Demornay are both awesome in these parts. I saw both of those flicks in the theater too lol.
juan harrington Yes she is amazing!
I'll add that one to my list Hayley. Sounds fun!
