Hello, two months ago I got my ST530 since the first day I hear a squeak in the front wheel. Until yesterday I thought the brake was rubbing, well they were, but after adjusting them (which took me 3 hours, haha) I figured out it can't be the brake. In the beginning, the squeak was only at low speeds (0-10kmh) but now it got worse. It isn't permanent, it comes and goes randomly. If the wheel is not on the bike, I can't hear any squeak. If it's on the bike, even without the quick release in, it squeaks. I read that it could be some kind of seal and I should grease it, but I'm not sure... Oh, and I also adjusted my rear brake (centered the caliper) and now everytime I pull the brake I can hear a click. It only clicks when the wheel is spinning and it does it only once. If I block the wheel and push the bike I can hear the clicking multiple times, which kinda scares me. I was planning to bring it to a shop, but I have to wait until june for an appointment..
That sounds like a bummer. So starting with the front the first thing I would suggest is checking if the quick release (QR) is properly tight it should be a bit hard to use the lever usually a small Imprint should be on your hand. Secondly check if on the axle is grease, if not put some grease on it if you have some. Check now if the rotor is rubbing against the pads or the caliper. If the squeaking is Still there I guess the wheel itself is loose. Try when the wheel is in the bike moving it left to Right, if it moves the bearings are loose and need tightening, better go to Decathlon for that. For the rear check the same. Tighten the bolts and check if the pads are in held in place by the olive (pin) correctly It's hard to tell without seeing it in real life. But these would be the first things that come into my Mind.
@@dep1x Well the hub could be too lose, or too tight while being built, both is possible but decathlon should either replace the hub/wheel or simply fix it. That takes 5 minutes for a mechanic.

The Rockrider is more of a sport bike, you sit more leaned forward, and get more pressure on your wrist. but it will be faster. The riverside has more of an upright seating position.
