    Very nice tutorial, you heard my heart from afar. I was looking at my brother's mail and said "I need to make something to put his mail in so it's not sitting all over the table waiting to be picked up." Thanks again for that beautiful "Mail holder"

    Omg i love this! What other cord can i use besides the bobbiny cord

    • @OpheliaTalks
      @OpheliaTalks  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Im sure there are other brands of cord available, try Amazon maybe, or you could double up a chunky yarn. Anja x

    What is everyone using as an alternative to Bobbiny cord? It's a little pricey on their website.... although I agree, it looks great! 🖤

      I was thinking that maybe we could use a cotton washcloth yarn, and just double or triple the yarns. You could keep it in a natural color or perhaps do different colors, such as red white and blue black green and yellow, just imagine the combinations. I know that I can find that same yarn for the wash cloths for about 1 to 2 dollars per skein. 🤷🏻‍♀️💗

      Just use any 3mm macrame cord?

    • @DarknesszMuze
      @DarknesszMuze 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@vegangelist I have been looking at the macrame cord available at the big chain craft stores, and it leaves a lot to be desired...so I worried about just ordering some on Amazon....mainly because the Bobbiny looks so nice!

      I'm using (from my stash) Robin DK 100% cotton in stone mixed with a Pink (very strange looking pink, but lovely) 'stoned washed' 78% cotton 22% acrylic. It has made a very soft colour, which also feels soft but firm.
      I did need more stitches so it would have been handy if the length of the starting chain had been included. I'm working the the bag as a continuous spiral which makes it easier when working the divide.
      I have plans for several of these. That should make inroads into my stash a little, well until my next ‘innocent' wonder past a yarn shop 😉.

    Can you tell me the measurement because I would be using a 4 weight cotton yarn. Looks great and so practical, thank you

    • @OpheliaTalks
      @OpheliaTalks  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The measurement is immaterial as you have to make it big enough to wrap around your phone, each of us have different phones so just measure as you go, Anja x

    Hello super projekt but I don't understand how you finish each tour.... You show just the first... It would be nice of you to be more precise and slow, for beginners :)
