hi sir this is a great video. im hoping if you could help me with my school project? i want to demonstarte how to pump water out from a car wash drainage. i will use the water to treat it and recycle for other use. thank you
recently purchased to inline water flow sensors, both to ensure the pump doesn't keep running if there is no water. one is the liquid coming from my solar water - sometimes, even with 100% glycol it is frozen and cannot pump water through, the other is a water line that runs through the woodstove and heats the floor - again, in case of leak, or airlock so water is not moving would like to shut off pump. no information within sensor package to indicate how it is even used! very novice at arduino but i do have and have experimented a little.
Thanks for the video, but to make it work in real world i have some suggestions and hopefully you will make its version 2 and add all these features. 1. The circuit must be divided into two separate parts, because usually tank is at 2nd or 3rd floor and we want to see the lcd display and control at ground floor. 2. Both circuits must be wireless connected using 430mhz rf transmitter and receiver as its very cheap. 3. You should use normal wires as sensors because ultrasonic sensors may not work well in extreme conditions like temperature and humidity. 4. There must be manual switch to turn on/off motor at any time. Normally we turn on motor to collect fresh water for drinking. 5. Circuit working voltage must be 12v as 12v solar batteries are common now a days and we can connect it with our solar system. 6. water level should be shown from 1 to 10.
Thank you so much for suggestion. Actually I am planning to make such a project. I am planning to make it wireless and give more control to the user. I want to make it an IOT project in which the users will see real time water level of tank in their phone. Also they can control their water pump from their phone. I will definitely include your suggestions in the upcoming project. Thank you.
@@AzharElectronics Adding IOT is also a great thing, but i would suggest to make it RF wireless and add an manual switch to turn on/off at any time, that manual switch can further be expanded to add iot circuit like esp8266. But most of the time its not only one user who need to know that water level but rather anyone who is at home must be able to know the water level. Therefore making it RF wireless it will be more practical and everyone can use this project in their homes.
Very nice video for beginners. Please post advance version of this video considering the suggestions made in video comments. Looking forward for your advance video eagerly to learn from you.
I was thinking of trying this but I'm afraid of ruining the sensor with warm temperature and humidity since it will be inside a closed tank. Can the ultrasonic sensor handle these conditions? I don't think it's water resistant...
You can search here. hallroad.org/?s=Relay+finder&post_type=product As the motor is 1HP so it will draw current of about 3 to 4A. So check the rating of relay there.

Sure I will make another version of the video
is it possible to create a project with:
1. moisture sensor
2. water pump
3. water flow meter
in just one arduino uno? thanks.
Yes
Thank you very much...but what is the highest distance of ultrasonic sensor.??
Around 3900cm
I was thinking of trying this but I'm afraid of ruining the sensor with warm temperature and humidity since it will be inside a closed tank. Can the ultrasonic sensor handle these conditions? I don't think it's water resistant...
it is not water resistant. Water resistant ultrasonic sensors are also available in the market
Hi, your project is amazing. I'm wondering if we could use wire sensor instead of ultrasonic sensor?
Yes try with a transistor
good job,sir i want to ask how can you monitor depth of water in the well so as not to damage the pump
Watch my video How to measure distance with Arduino and HC-SR04 sensor
Great work....
please send full connection diagram

And one more question..can i use 12v battery and 12v dc water pump but 5v relay??is it can work??
syamil boy yeah
Azhar Electronics if i use 5v battery 5v dc water pump amd 5v relay?is it work??
Can the relay be connected to an actual heavy duty water pump?
YES but for that you must have a relay with rating according to the pump
@@AzharElectronics thanks
Sir the ultra sonic sensor can work on water really
Yes. You can try
HI Can I know what is the type of battery that you use?
I have used 12V battery for the motor
Any alternative other than battery?
@@leesinjie8956 it depends on your motor's requirements. You can use a power supply also
how can we use it for 3 phase motor AC??
can we use a 1hp 1000 watt water pum to control' it
thanks a lot,,,good stuff...
Welcome
will it work on any pump?
It depends on the rating of your relay and pump
great idea sir, can i get the same device in market? i mean the same ready-made device will be available in market?
Yes may be available
sir which potentiometer and relay we need ? tell me please
10K potentiometer. And Single channel relat module
Will it work without LCD display
Yes
Hi, can u suggest me relay for 1 HP motor and 0.5 HP motor to work with??
You can search here.
hallroad.org/?s=Relay+finder&post_type=product
As the motor is 1HP so it will draw current of about 3 to 4A.
So check the rating of relay there.
Is your pump 3phase ac..?
No, I have used a DC pump.
can anyone please tell me, for which pin of the relay module is connected to arduino's 7th pin
which is mentioned in program but not in circuit
No pin is connected to pin 7.. the relay is connected to pin 13
why does the code have a line for the 7 no pin?
amazon component link please
Bhai can you please give me the specification of the motor you used...
It is a 12V washer pump
Sir I am seeing only a blue LCD without any writing?plz help sir
Sir can i use 5v battery and 5v dc waterpump connect with 5v relay..it is can work??
yeah
what is the purpose of the potentiometer?
It controls the contrast of the LCD.
sir great effort. is this code also work on ac motor? as you have used a dc motor in this project
Using AC motor will require AC. And you will have to use the relay a ccording to the motor requirements
@@AzharElectronics can we just put relay on NO configuration? i am talking about normal home water pump
@@AzharElectronics and thanks fro reply
@@AzharElectronics will these connection and code work for the dc water pump which we normally using in our home?
The working of the relay is same.
Whether its is DC or AC.
but for home water pump you will use a relay of high rating
can I have detail the component used, tq sir
