The issue is that, the water will dispatch when something blocks the sensor, in this case If i give anything the tap will dispense water. To take this one level ahead, why not trying to make it work when only and only the sensor is blocked by a glass.. By the way a good project indeed.
For me, Its annoying to open the tap key and keep it press with another hand until fill-up a glass or bottle for the entire time. So it's a cool idea i can use.
