Wow! Just last night my grandson asked if I had a recipe for Hard Rock Candy. I know I did but couldn't remember which cookbook. You sure made it easier.
Oh, I remember so many ladies making the hard candy when I was growing up in WV. That is one of my favorite Christmas candies, that and the Potato Candy. Thanks!!!!!
It’s actually been a few years since I’ve made the hard candy. I used to make it every year and made a bunch of flavors. Thank you Kathy! Merry Christmas!
I grew up in WV too… mom made a bunch of different cookies and would fill the big tin container up.. she also made cow patties.. which was really good too
@@nicopico5537 butter, sugar, evaporated milk, Pnut butter and oats. Me and my brother loved them. She always made Egg custard at Christmas time, too. My Mom didn't bake, she only baked chocolate cake. I, however, love to bake cakes and cookies. Do you still live in WV? I haven't been back since 1998. All my family but a couple of cousins that I am not close to have passed. I am from Logan County.
I use vanilla wafer with peanut butter and 1/3 of large marshmallow slice and then dunk in chocolate. Easy for kids to help. Very good. Glad I watched this needed new recipes. TYFS
These all look SOOO DELICIOUS!!! I want to try Them All. The last One if We would add some peanuts to it reminds Me of “Cracker Jacks.” I don’t know if You are old enough to remember Them but I think that They still maybe sold. LOL!!! It was my Favorite as a Child. Thank You for sharing Your talents with Us. Bless You and Your Family. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!😊❤️✝️🎅🏼🎄☃️🤶🏻🛍👍🏼👋🏼
Yes I remember Cracker Jacks! I love them. You could add peanuts and also use pop corn in place of the butter puff corn. Thank you for watching! Merry Christmas to you and your family! 😊❤️
What a great idea to add peanuts, you could even put a small prize in each bag like the old cracker jacks. I love the idea of the puffed corn, so you don’t get any kernels in your teeth. Can’t wait to try this!
Omgsh!!! My childhood friends mother used to make that rock Candy and it brings back the best memories! None of the gang liked the cinnamon flavor so she’d always make a batch just for me!
I know rock candy brings back memories for me too! I used to make it a long time ago but haven’t in years. My grandmother would always have it at Christmas. Thank you for watching and Merry Christmas!
These look so good! I have never heard of a couple of them, so I'm excited to try something new! That is a fantastic tip to use the pizza cutter for the rock candy! I absolutely love your measuring cups! Are they a real set or just what you use? If so, where did you get them if you don't mind me asking? Thank you for sharing these yummy treats! Happy Holidays & God Bless you and your family! Cheers! 🎄🤗
How did you know I needed some new recipes for Christmas gift bags this year? I do make toffee every year, but a few of these I’ve never made before. I don’t think I’ve seen the puffed corn at the store though. Thanks for the recipes.
I’m so glad to give you some new recipes for gift bags. I get the butter puff at Aldi but sometimes you can find it at Walmart. Thank you for watching! Merry Christmas!
@@ChefKristiThymetoCook thanks for replying to Diane’s comment I had the same question! I love Aldi! I think I’ll be making a trip just for this one recipe. @ChefKristiThymetoCook Can you point me in the direction of where I could purchase one like it? Chopping almonds is not an easy thing and your chopper made it look easy! 😊
Love all the treats. However, most of my family are not white chocolate fans. Does anyone know if peanut butter [or other nut butters like hazelnut, cashew, sunflow] can be added to the white chocolate for some of these recipes? If so, how much? TYIA
Ragtag, candy,, white chocolate rice Krispy nuta and any flavor you like, then pecan turtles bag chocolate chips I bag of white chips then a rolo candy on that.

You can try honey or golden syrup.
What's the best brand of Almond Bark to use? I've read some bad reviews of several.
@@1105pitbull honestly I like the Almond Bark from Aldi.
For the chocolate cover peanut butter cookies I have a recipe where you add powered sugar to the peanut butter and then assemble the cookies and dip
Hello 👋 May i ask what tool you were using to cut up the almonds for the toffee?
I was using a chopper. I’ve had it for probably 30 years. 😂
