I can’t believe you have a headlight out on the tractor!! Nice setup!!!! Lol!!
I did notice that and I was totally embarrassed
Obviously, there will be a LED light upgrade coming soon
Ha
If you go to LED then they might even be useful at night! Thanks!@@MurphyMower
Del is right, that is a beast of an aerator. Definitely need some weight on the front..
I might try wheel weights on ft
Nice. I was wondering if it would lift it. Maybe a rectangle box across the front then stand bar bell weight in it. Would not stick out to far from the tractor.
Load the front tires with liquid would help a little.
Have a great week. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Good ideas- thanks

Hey Lee , that is a beast of an aerator . It works great . I like how you switched over your hitches . I have the same problem with my JD . Not enough weight in the front . I am going to make a bumper like you have and weld either 3/4 or 1 inch solid round stoke at a 45 degree angle pointing up . That way I can get dumb bell weights off of FB market place for front weight !!
That is a very good idea. Also have wheel weights that I think will fit the front of mine. I may try that since already has it
If made something to quick attach to front bumper , Then a pin to put barbell weights on , Then would be easy to add or remove weight and probably not to big to store when not using . But a lot of how to do a front weight is based on what one has on hand.
That is a good suggestion, I noticed in one of your video you added wheel weights to the front of your tractor, I may also do that
Category 0 attachment are very rare over here so it is a good idea to convert to category 1
We have here but don’t see it much
Watch on youtube how people put elec. power steering off of those electric cars about 150.00 dollars and a little welding getting ready to do one of my tractors.
Thanks for the suggestion
Will do
Nice easy switch over there. Curious if there is a weight issue with using a Cat 0 tractor for a Cat 1 implement?
Probably- but I think this is heavier than most
that's not an aerator, that's a rotary hoe cultivating thrasher for tearing up corn stalks after the combine has beaten down a field. that's just one piece of a 5-11 gang unit
Wow - great info
Thanks
Does your right handle engage the front PTO shaft? I have a MTD995 and mine front doesn't engage, what do you think it might be? Do you know when it engages, is it mechanical or electrical, or both? Thanks!
The right handle does engage the PTO,
@MurphyMower is it mechanical and the turns the front PTO belt behind the grille, or is there possibly a safety switch that also engages? Thanks for your input.
I believe it is mechanical, but there is a safety switch there as well
@MurphyMower awesome, thanks for your help sir. You picked up a new subscriber!
