The passenger chair back can be turned toward the doghouse and if you lay the other way with your feet on the passenger seat you can lay all the way down. My son is 6' and his feet just hang off other side of seat. I recently made the same video, just need to edit an d post. Gotta love Roadtreking :-)
You are not doing it correctly, The front seat is turned with the back to the aisle and you sleep with your feet to the front of the vehicle. If you are 5' 10" or so your feet with hang over into the foot well. Read the manual, it tells how to do it.

All I can say is in 1987 I lived in Houston Tx and if I had sought out a VAN rather than getting an apartment I would have been independent all my life and probably never would have been homeless ever again.
