OMG this has been stressing me out so much, my Steam downloads on average was downloading at 60 mbps, and my Epic Games was only at 1 - 5 mbps, but now I'm getting the same as my Steam downloads. Thanks For You're Help! (Also pro tip make that file a Read Only so no changes can be made!)

Before this i was downloading at around 3-4Mb After im getting high 5Mb to low 6Mb not a great improvement but at least it was one. Thanks for the help!

Hey Lecc, I know it might be a big thing to ask but can you make a video on the performance hit of every graphic setting in the game. like say how much you get with everything on low vs everything on low except shadows on low instead of off, then the same but shadows on medium and checking the performance hit of those settings.
It might take a long time to make the video but it might also get you a lot of views since i wasn't able to find anything similar made by someone else.

i get like 70 mbps on steam but on epic games i get like 5 but this vid didnt help
keep in mind that steam shows it in mbits, and epic games shows it in mb/s. having 5 mb/s on epic is 40 mbits

@@dishonoured Nah he's right. I've compared the time between both I downloaded an 8gb update on steam in about 15 minutes and it took about 20 for 2gb for epic to do the same.

Hey Lecctron I've been having a problem with epic games, i usually get around 1-5 MB/s download speed, and that's not even the problem, but the thing is that after a little bit of time the dowload gets "freaky" and it just goes down to 0 B/s, and then it rarely gets up to normal, for example today I had a 860MB Fortnite update, everything went well until I got to around 600MB, then it started to do what I just wrote. Meanwhile, the percentage was only at around 20%, which is weird because I don't think 600MB is 20% of 860MB, and the weirdest of all is that the percentage kept progressing even at 0 B/s download speed. I'd really appreciate it if you could find a solution to this and possibly even make a video on it. Great video btw 🩵
Thats bc ur drive is reading and writing too slow so the download pauses itself. I cant think of any fix other than getting a better drive

there isn't really a fix, its just epic launcher sucks

1mb = to 8bit so 100mb is equals to 12.5 that steam downlaod speed is not correct

Off topic my fps gets 144 when my cpu is at 100% but it drops to. 40% sometimes how do I fix this btw I have 8gb ram and play on laptop
upgrade your ram probably, or it might be a cooling issue, if u are not running the ram in dual channel that is defo the problem. i reccomend upgrading the ram
