I can tell you right NOW it is VERY hard to find a job as a soon to be military Vet. I have 3 college degrees. Great civilian work background and also military. 72 jobs applied for in 2 months. I’ve only gotten 1 interview. And I am super scared right now…..
@@bradc6993 I have very large broad of skills because I have a lot civilian skills as well. From Program Manager, Paralegal, Security, plans n Programs, logistics analysis, IT
None of these sites work. I've been out of the army for 3 months, no criminal history, 10 years of consistent employment with only 2 jobs, and references who have nothing but good things to say about me, but yet still no one will hire me regardless of how many interviews I do or any effort I put in. I am now forced to only do doordash as an income auction in slowly becoming homeless because I cannot pay all my bills. No one likes helping soldiers and the ones that do can't because they're already hoping a bunch of soldiers in my same situation. Our government would much rather give money to Ukraine and fund the war and fund a global pandemic than care for its own veterans. My advice just go in person and look for a job old school. For some reason the whole online employment board things are trash and they do not like hiring veterans. Just my experience.
I'm grateful 🙏🏽 for videos like this

I know that feeling. I have similar background story. I can’t find work.

Veteran discrimination ia real
I hate to say it because I like personal responsibility but employers flat out don’t like hiring veterans. They pretend but they don’t really.
Huh! This is not a real thing. Do they verify this information? Lots of good talking but no real actionable steps. Good Luck everyone.
