    Interesting two species Pteria ❤ also the bird Cardita, cowries are fantastic still wet just a different brillance 🤩 nice blue periwinkle 🤩 the Vexillum cadaverosum reminds me Zanzibar 😊 I find many of it . Very intriguing those two Pteria ❤ and beautiful yellow toothed cowries ❤ thanks Maddie 👋 ❤❤❤❤❤

      G'day Francesco 👋🏻🏖️❤️ Thank you for your understanding words 🙏🏻 and, hehee, I know; the shells are incredibly beautiful and collectable, aren't they?!! For the Pteria shells this time, they are very hard to research...I think these shells have a lot of variety, and most people do not publish reputable, widespread, or knowledgeable documentations about the different Australian species of Pearl Oysters...I think they are a shell family that doesn't get much attention...but I also don't give them much attention, so I am being a bit of a hypocrite right now 😂 but it means that I don't have a guide to help with their correct names, but I don't mind too much 😅 the catditas and cowries are much more interesting to me! Oh my goodness, the Vexillum cadaverosum can be found on Zanzibar!! How amazing that this shell is so widespread 😲 I had no idea!! Once again Francesco, thank you so much for watching, and for sharing your knowledge with me 🥰

    Good morning,Maddie
    Wow, the cowries are lovely as well as the periwinkles, the thick edged cowrie was beautiful, telescope dove shell. The bird carditas were so colorful. The cone shells are so nice. Love the mini sand dollars.
    Wow, the waves were good sizes. Thank you for another wonderful shelling adventure. I enjoy your videos so very much. Thank you for sharing with everyone.
    Have a wonderful day, Maddie
    See you soon.

      G'day Toni~ Ohhh this was an exciting adventure because of all of those lovely cowries... actually, the shelling has been very good here for them lately! I'm glad you liked the cute little periwinkles as well. These microshelling days are wonderful for all of the different shell varieties; and there are plenty of the usual favourite finds as well. Thank you so, so much for watching, and have a wonderful weekend

      G’day Annie 👋🏻🐚💖 The Bird Carditas have been amazing lately 🤩 I wonder what has caused so many to wash up like this; even live ones have appeared which I don’t usually see 😮 and the cowries have even bountiful on my trip to the beach today as well… spring has sprung for empty shell collecting!! As always, thank you so much for watching 🙏🏻 and take care as well 🥰

    Hi Maddie! I loved the pearl oysters. 🦪🦪🦪 And the bird carditas were spectacular. My favorite today was the juvenile thick edged cowrie!!! 💗💗💗 such pretty coloring. I keep forgetting to tell you how much I like periwinkle shells. I’m constantly on the lookout 👀 for them at Holly Beach. They are really plain compared to the varieties you find. Thanks for the video! 🥰🥰🥰

    • @ShellingAdventures
      @ShellingAdventures  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 I don't show those Pearl Oysters often, do I 😲? Maybe I only show the ones that are really eye catching 👀?? Oh wow, but the favourite this time was the juvenile Thick-edged Cowrie...it sure is amazing to see them at this growth stages 😲 and the periwinkles stood out too...are they a rarer shell at Holly Beach? The periwinkles like the rocks here at the point, but at Hervey Bay, the other species of periwinkles like the mangroves 🤔 maybe you will need to look into which periwinkles can be found at Holly Beach, and then trace them back to their environment to find the most bountiful selection of them? That's never a guarantee to find them, as we both know 😉 Thank you so much for watching 🥰 and yes, I'm slow on messages and have read several lovely ones from you over the last few days ❤️ Thank you again for them! I'm working my way from the bottom up, so you'll get some more messages from me a little later 😳

Ohhh that;s right, you rather like those little Blue Periwinkles too; I think I showed some live ones on the rocks just before the shell display; there here by the thousands! • @ShellingAdventures
      @ShellingAdventures  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      G'day Donna 👋🏻💖 It's not usually do dangerous on that spot 😅 the low tide was just especially high this day... It was a lot of fun though! It was definitely an untapped spot after a few days of it not being easy to access. The day felt pretty nice ☺️ I could try to describe it? The water was pleasantly cool but not cold, the sun was very warm, but not hot because of the nice breeze and cool water. The shell grit felt like tossing handfuls of gravel, but not as heavy. And of course, the concentration of trying to do that while filming and watching out for the waves was exciting 😂 Hope that paints a clear picture of the day!! Thank you so much for watching 🥰

The blue periwinkles, the purple barnacles, the reds, pinks and oranges of the carditas and pheasant shells, the beautiful lace coral...I could go on and on! You were quite brave out in the splash zone! As always, I love the cowries and cones. Thanks so much for filming!

    Love that you brave the waves for us. One thing you do is not show what is coming up in the video. The whole idea of watching is what you find and do. The carditas are my favorite for how colorful they are. Hope it’s not to cold.

      G’day Jan 👋🏻💖 Ahhh if I didn’t brave the waves, it would feel like a colossal missed opportunity 😉 and is the middle of Spring here; the sun is warm/hot and the water is pleasant -just perfect!! Oh I know what you’re talking about: I do watch various videos that give an upcoming look into the things you’re about to watch… I have thought about doing it, but I like just jumping right into things; my content is fast paced enough without preamble to warrant such a thing, I think? I do understand why some channels do it though; that first impression can be crucial for encouraging new viewers to stick around, and a lot of successful channels make use of this method to draw more people in or give the video an introductions. But I don’t think I need to do that for what I do 🤔 Maybe if I went shelling overseas, I would give that kind of upcoming/introductory exposition? I digress 😅 Thank you so much for watching 🥰
