      Not to be rude but does Australia empty there garbage in the ocean then storms bring it all onshore with the waves? I just can’t get past all the beautiful places you have been that are full of garbage.

      ​@@shelabrehio1050 not to mention a few big tsunamis on both sides of the continent in japan and indian ocean, it all goes somewhere, there's alot of fishing gear from Asian trawlers I'd hate to think how many sink too in large storms cyclones and typhoons still anything that floats usually ends up in pristine wilderness.

    thank you for your relaxing videos. I am Aussie and have lived in Nth Qld and have always enjoyed beachcombing. I love the way you show your finds. I am also shocked at the increase in modern and plastic garbage now from 40 odd years ago

    it makes me weep to see how the beaches have been turned in to rubbish dumps. i use to go beach combing along the North Westcoast of WA as well as the Queensland coast ......never did i see any thing like what you show ...its a sad sad world we live in

    We have a place called trash beach here on the big island of Hawaii. I take my kids down there to camp, beach comb, and we haul loads of trash out each time. We find glass bouy’s and plastic mostly but I’ve found a few aluminum ones like you found too.
    Most of the trash we find is from Asia. It’s disgusting.

    This is so sad to see, I travelled all around Australia back in 99, I saw hundreds of beaches and there was never much trash , this is so sad to see some of the most beautiful habitat in the world covered in garbage. Humans really have become a curse on the planet. All the money pumped into pointless projects should be directed at cleaning this filth up.

    Amazed at how much crap (plastic) gets washed up on the beaches, would love to clean it up, but I guess it's a Forth bridge project. Could you improve the commentary please i miss many of your comments. Thanks for educating me re the plastic problem.

    I love watching your videos. Thank you for filming and putting them out there for all to enjoy. Where do you reckon most of this plastic trash comes from? Also, which side of Australia do you find these beautiful, empty beaches? I'm in the Pacific NW (near Seattle, Washington) I doubt I could ever get there, but it would be lovely to walk some of these beaches you visit. Thank you.

      I think the plastic comes from all over the world not any single place.
      All over the northern top end the beaches are mostly deserted, no roads so you need a boat or two

    Its like coming back home and finding everything destroyed without remedy. Jesus is our remedy. We just choose not to let Him in to our lives. Imagine how Jesus felt seeing all of this destruction. Repent and be Saved by the blood of Jesus. Love one another as Jesus loves us.

    is there any way that a beach clean up could be organised????? I know there is lots of people who would volunteer their time to do a mass clean up... it makes me cry to see so much rubbish in our beautiful environment. I am from Northern QLD and would love to help in any way ....

      AS there is no road access at all, beach access is not the safest there are a lot of Crocs and stingrays. It would take a lot of organisation

    Australia is so very beautiful. It is a shame that the beaches are in that condition. I am well aware that the tropical storms wash all of the trash and flotsam onto your coastal beaches. Is there not an Australian coastal conservancy that could organize an annual clean-up or Aussie beach rescue? It would be well worth it, and maybe show the rest of the world just how proud Australians are and what can be accomplished if people only try. Thank you for your beautiful video's.

    Watching this confirms to me that humanity is lost, the obsession with money, technology and social media has reduced what was once pristine wilderness reduced to a rubbish tip. So depressing.

      Saltwater crocs stingrays are a real danger and there is no roads, helicopter maybe if you have the money and time .

    I have a clear ball in my birdbath that a friend gave me.. Until now, I had no idea what it really was.. I own one and didn’t know it.. It floats around in my birdbath.. 😂

    Sometimes I get embarrassed about Australia & this is a time. Wow that's shocking to see.we need immediate action taken & I surely hope 🙏 by now it's been cleaned.Coastguard environmental watch & act crews seriously needed all around our coastlines & islands.I would pay an annual fee to ensure 🇦🇺 Australia's beauty remains just that..crikey.....

      @@obsessedbeachcomber I've seen worse beaches cleaned by volunteers. You need a few people coming in on your boat, (and ignore the abandoned boats.) Just pick up what you can in a couple of weekends. Otherwise it will end up in the ocean again.

    This looks like it could be the setting of a new reality show… put a bunch of people on the beach and see who can build the best… (whatever) out of the most pieces of trash. Also a beach trash to art project would be a cool idea as well!
