This beach has more people during holidays, weekends and also when the weather is favourable. Looks like today wasn't the day but so calm and beautiful just to watch the area 👌🥂
Am glad you reached here. Showing the positive side of South Africa a gift to the nation. So much negativity of African countries and here u are changing that negative narrative Keep it up Bro.💪😊
Very neat, refreshing and still very beautiful. Thank you for inviting us to walk through the natural beauty together. It was really worth it. I think Umhlanga might be neglected because Durban being a danger zone and only a few kilometers away, causes people to turn towards Ballito instead. Umhlanga remains scenic. Very nice views and appears to be safe -- we see moms walking around the promenade alone with strollers. Umhlanga used to be very popular---sorry, this video was captured out of season. That said, people really need to come and see and others need to visit again. Thank you for your video.
😂 I thought it was only fair to cover 3 or 4 major cities in SA. Otherwise it would be like someone who only visits New York or Miami and then claim they know about America. Thanks for watching
If you are still in Durban, and like it's coastline, I would suggest you venture out into the south, to a town like Ramsgate and other surrounding towns. You will find a number of rivers pouring into the sea. The south coast is under-rated in my opinion, just because it doesn’t have an expensive town like Umhlanga.
Heres a plan - go the local areas that people live in, see what they get upto.... get a glimse of Durban through them. Umhlanga and the CBD are the metropolitan areas that doesnt really paint a full picture. Go the Kasi,shisha nyama joints,car washes etc. Explore Durban like that! Go to areas like Chatsworth/Phoenix the old bluff whaling station, Japanese gardens, Mitchell's park and florida road... I hope that helps, cant wait to see that content.
@RYG632 - These Black American guys just want fancy places in Africa, thats why when they come to Joburg they stay in Sandton. The want all of America and non of the stress America brings. But who can blame them, they r used to that life bro.
@hanyani69 Lmao. American brothas can't win. If we show the poorer sides of Africa, then we are 'poverty pimpin'. And people will say, "there are loads of billionaires in Africa, show that!" If we show the middle class side of Africa, people will call us "privileged and no better than the colonizers, who don't show or experience the 'real Africa'. I stopped listening to people years ago. I'm just doing me.
No. You can't say you've been to Durban without going to the Durban CBD itself. Umhlanga is just an extension of greater Durban. It's like going to Sandton and saying you've been to Johannesburg yet you haven't visited and toured the old CBD .

Not everyone lives in Kasi, Umhlanga is also a local area where some people live. Beside that, he can't go to those places alone.
@sanelemwelase Indeed

Super😍 I was there
On vacation?
It seems Durban is treating you well
It's definitely got some strong points
@@JayFocusedNot to mention the lowest cost of living compared to other big cities in South Africa, especially Cape Town.
True
Brother you need to come to newlands east we can have a braai and some drinks. Get to see how we normal people live . Not just view the rich areas
Was this an accurate depiction of Durban?
I'm (from Kenya 🇰🇪) an ardent watcher of your channel & I sub'd ages ago. I like the fact that you're always honest and objective.
Thanks for the feedback

@malusingubane8621
I hear you. I spent some time in CBD as well. It's just not included in this video
I don't believe so. You are depicting only the best part which represent a very small section of the city or town. Try to visit the township
Thank you, sir
😂😂😂
It looks nice, but it reminds me of California a bit too much. Not a bad thing, but thats where I live. Ill be there in a few days.
I can see that. There are some Laguna Beach looking areas
