Ledgetrapping on top level can and will decide not only stocks, but whole games. If you´ve ever played against a really good opponent, you know how oppressive it can feel to be stuck at ledge. But why? Which options can YOU go for to apply the same pressure? I will explain 5 really strong strategies for ledgetrapping as Mii Brawler, as well as advanced conditioning at ledge!
Thank you SO much for watching! If you liked the video, I would appreciate a quick like and sub to help my channel grow! Every single one means a lot to me!

This is one of the BEST brawler guides I’ve ever seen
sorry to be off topic but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account??
I was dumb lost the account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Jimmy Johnny Instablaster =)
@Nixon Reece Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now.
I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Nixon Reece It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you really help me out!
@Jimmy Johnny Glad I could help xD
This seems like a lot for brawler to understand. It very helpful. Maybe I’m probably just going to stick with strategy 4 and 5
To be honest, SAK covering just about everything besides ledge roll seems to be an incredibly easy way to condition opponents to ledge roll into something like an F-Smash or Mach Punch.
Absolutely! Especially when you can see/feel your opponent getting frustrated by loosing to only one single move
Brawler power RISE
Just want to say thanks for the guide! I'm a Wolf main, Brawler secondary and this flowchart has helped me think about how to use "generic" options (nair spam, dash/pivot grab) better with characters' unique options. Very helpful!
12/10
Ok. How do you know exactly what I need the most for smash? It's also impressive the quality of the video
Your video quality is way too nice for only >2k subs. Keep it up and you'll blow up!
I usually nair at ledge and catch stuff with sak on reaction
Like your videos. Hope the execution part will not break my neck
Brawler Gang!
The amount of work that went into these.. nice 😎
This mostly applies to every char too, so I'm going thru the whole catalog now lol
i usually short hop just before roll distance with my back turned. I threaten back air on neutral getup, getup attack, and ledge drop, threaten grab or up air on roll, and threaten up air or back air on jump. Sometimes ppl will respond by waiting on ledge which is when I'll mix in the nair spam and dtilt to catch ledge hang. This usually causes them to roll which is pretty easy to react to if you're expecting it
My dude coming in clutch
awesome vid!!!
Great Video!
Great video ! I learned things even tho I don’t play mii brawler
Good stuff 👍
Thanks :)
I favor strategy 3 heavily with my brawler gameplay. It's hard but once you get it down it is so effective at stealing stocks
Thats true, its still preference in the end
@@Gaegel oh absolutely. I use all of them depending on the situation. As you stated in the video some options are better than others depending on character and conditioning. Thx for the video. You have a really eloquent way of showing what I try to explain to my friends
Great job! can you make a zone busting tutorial please.
Feint jump
Good idea, noted
u make me want to play mii brawler
I don't know how well that works, but if you condition your opponent to not use roll you could theoretically wait at roll distance and then Instant RAR to ledge and then use Flashing Mach Punch. If you miss you grab ledge.
I haven't really tested it though
Edit: You can also just turnaround FMP at ledge and jump to ledge normally from roll distance
Hey, dont mean to be a humbug, but the get up attack parry depends on your reaction. Not all characters have the same timing, so you'll miss around 15 members of the cast. However if you aim for the slower half you can oos the rest with a decent punish still!
That is goof
Flashing Mach punch can cover jumps too
Its nice for that, but only if you really read it imo
@@Gaegel it’s debatable but I say it can beat out some buffer aerial options if they’re just mashing jump at ledge, but if they are to drop from ledge and use an aerial it can be a bit harder, I currently remember struggling against ridleys ledge options s because he’d drop from ledge and fair but if I were to start shielding he’d start using his side b command grab
Brawler rise
Damn bro, mii gunner just hits B
For the shotput method, would it be optimal to suplex for rolls instead of pivot grab?
Suplex is quite a bit slower, so you probably don´t have enough time for that. Also, because of the janky windbox, suplex isn´t really good for catching rolls :/
@@Gaegel Noted👍
Is there any viable ledge trapping strategy with Feint Jump ?
Feint Jump can be nice when you are far away. People might not expect you coming so fast, and usually neutral getup just because its quick and leaves a lot of options. You might be able to hit that, but its still risky
Just out of curiosity, what percent does up smash start to kill?
Around 110 on midweights, ofc weight, falling speed and stage depending
K thx
Fence pping
Yooo I’m early
And I was even earlier
Gaegel you got me there
Suplex is so weird how it just moves your opponent sometimes and you don’t grab them.
The windbox is just....pretty random. Hope it works one day
I love suplex windbox
Teacher: So Jimmy, how did you spend your Thanksgiving
Jimmy: I ate a lot of food with my family
Teacher: Wow, that's great. How about you Gaegel
