smash 4 had good intentions but bad execution. letting your mii brawler be different in weight? good idea, you could make heavyweight miis and glass cannon miis! sadly, mii smawler was broken
I like how well spoken you are when you're explaining stuff. Not too complicated, but deep enough to show that you did your homework. Love it, keep on going!
I really want one of these for Thrupper as it seems like an extremely good move, if used correctly (especially considering Mii Brawlers lack of kill power with SAK).
All 3 of the up specials are about equally good for separate reasons. Thrupper is more reliable, Helikick is more explosive, and SAK is a better recovery move that can also spike and is a reliable out of shield option with reach.
I really wanted to know how to use this!! I play SaK and a bit of thrupper but I haven't really played heli kick or know about it. This guide really helped:)
hey gaegel just wanted to say as a brawler main I love your content. but on the topic of heli kick what are your thoughts on small buffs that could be given to heli kick to make it not busted just more viable? what if we give a little knock back to ourselves when the last hit is landed so it's a bit safer to go for the far out kills but it doesn't necessarily kill us in the process. maybe this only happens when you're holding back instead of forward? this idea isn't really useful but it would be funny if you could hold downwards so now you heli kick down going for a spike but at the cost of your stock. maybe it isn't all of the heli kick so how about when you go for it the heli kicks up up side side down down giving you just two kicks to hit the spike. I'm not really someone who takes balancing into the mix so I don't know what's good for a fair move so give me your thoughts if you see this
Something to consider would be giving grounded Helikick the same power as aerial Helikick, so you can actually use it out of shield. I would also gladly take some of the base knockback to get knockback growth, so you might not kill at 30% at ledge, but the opponent also won't live at 130% if hit at center stage
Helikick is probably my favorite Up B of Brawler's selections, despite being the most difficult Up B of the 3, probably because of how flashy and powerful it is.
It might be the worst up b, but even so, it is still very good in some matchups. Particularly Bowser, a character you see a lot at top level. That's what I love about brawler, unprecedented creativity
I think the helicopter kick is the best recovery for mii brawler, but for some reason it’s actually harder to use than the flashing uppercut because the helicopter kick has a smaller hitbox than the flashing uppercut
Look unlike everyone I discovered helli kick on why do’s channel and despite its lack of viability I still use it on my mii main cause it god damn hilarious every time someone doesn’t know how to d I it and dies at forty
Smash 4 flashbacks. People back then talked about how brawler was low tier, but belive me, that was only true after the restrictions the TOs put on them, to keep them from becoming the new metaknight.
The Helicopter Kick It must have a greater recovery and travel a longer distance so as not to kill you in the attempt, recovering safely. must also kill by 50%
I find it funny how no one realised it wasn't significantly nerfed from sm4sh to ult I don't use brawler cuz not my kinda character but I'm glad people starting to realise he's broken
@@Gaegel brawler was always good but people only cared about small miis. Brawler has a lot of combos and it's unfortunate no one experimented with him until ult
If you have Final Smash Meter on, you can use Helikick as a follow up to Final Smash, holding back in order to kill off the top, just in case Final Smash doesn't kill but it brings the opponent slightly above you
It's crazy good at getting KOs offstage like that but in terms of recovery it's worse than DK's for vertical recovery. Also I think horizontal recovery but it's less notable because the horizontal recovery is still generally good. Yeah, I hold back right after my final hit of Helicoptor kick when I use it. It feels very natural! They really need to buff its recovery ability for it to be good. I'm pretty sure there have been characters who grab ledge with their feet hitbox(es?) before, and Teto could certainly benefit from that. It would give it a bit more vertical recovery than DK's in exchange for some horizontal distance. But even then, they might have to outright buff how high it goes. It's pitiful.
Nah bro. Its called "Learn the fuckin character instead of ignoring they exist" Trust me. I play this character and have been banned from 3 other smash discords because I play brawler (I am not joking)
Can we just talk about how insanely perfect this synced up I didn´t even notice

Imagine if WDBTHTGP uploaded Brawler content every single minute: that’s Gaegel. Thank you for your hard work on such great videos!

Brilliant m8
You should analyse his moveset that he used in the tourney and against tea
Yeah I have also recently started to like heli kick
I also try using/exploring it more, maybe I find even better stuff
@@Gaegel yeah, if nothing else, it's the most hype imo and it combos so naturally into everything else that it's fun to use.
You can go for edge guards using helicopterkick you just have to press the ariel early so it ends earlier. Then you can recover just fine.
love your content thank you!!
Thank YOU :>

Isn't helikick technically 1 frame faster than nair because of the jumpsquat, or does that change oos?
HK = frame 8 (oos and aerial)
NAir = frame 3 + 3 frames jumpsquat = frame 6 oos
@@Gaegel gotcha, I thought nair was frame 6. My bad!
Question, should I use this move or Axe Kick?
all 3

Do a “How to use: Onslaught” because it has a set spike at ledge :0
Helikick when used right is really op, but it’s not optimal. The thrupper is more reliable for kills.
All u need to do is see that it killed at less than 60
