Thanks so much for using both mics. I've seen so many reviews of this microphone but most reviewers haven't actually operated the two mics at the same time. Very impressive.

Awesome, I like the fun vlogging style however, it would have been perfect if you told us what setting you were using while walking around the house and were there any presets used to boost the audio in post or was it all straight out of the mic?

Looks surprisingly similar to the mic set I bought a few months ago from Lereel. Works and looks great all for a very low price. Nice vid!

Nice review, Danny! I've seen some reviews where the signal breaks up if you are walking away from the camera. But when Emma had her back turned, it seemed to work just fine! Gotta get this!

Is each mic recorded separately, or does it record each mic in the left or right side of a stereo recording? Basically, are both voices combined during recording? For interviews the ability to edit each recording in post is important.
Wonderfully well done cool product Ulanzi has alotta cool stuff and it’s within my budget! Lol
Is the USB-C version working with computers?
What if using a Female USB-C to Male-Lightning adapter? Then the USB-C version should be even more versatile!
Both working for iPhone + any USB-C compatible hardware.
Plus, can you test the app Dolby On (free recording app) for both iOS and Android if it can be used?

Gonna grab this instead of the antlion modmic wireless. I hope it works smoothly on PC.
A nice clean and clear review... good job. I just wish you had some of the receiver ends so you could see both sides. I am concerned if it will cover my headphone jack as some of us still have one and use it when recording! I view this as "better" audio not good or great audio but better than simply the on-camera mic for 80%+ of your shooting.

But its optimized for mobile use. Which makes usbC and lighting best currently due to phone companies deleting their aux jacks

Hello i just bought this mic yesterday, but i encountered a problem with the another mic it sounds very low and bad but the other one is fine just wondering if you can give me an advice or there's a mode to fix this
Hi Cobs thx for the comment sorry to hear you are having a hard time with the mic it could be on a noise cancellation… or possibly on mute, and maybe the other mic is picking you up making it sound low… so test that out, otherwise it would be a defect and ulanzi should be able tor recktify it. I hope that has helped.
Great review Danny. I’m thinking of picking up this set for some cycling vlogging - be good if you can demonstrate the noise-reduction capabilities in a similar/same use case - I notice there isn’t really any provision for a wind-sock/dead-cat type thing, but perhaps one isn’t needed? Also, I’d be interested in the battery-life - I’m out for 5-6 hours on the bike and whilst I wouldn’t be yammering-away for ALL that time, it would be handy if the system allowed me to plug the receiver into my iPhone and use the pause/record button on the bike (my phone is always in a food-bag and in my rear pocket, don’t use the phone, use a gopro for photos as it’s easier to shout “hey gopro, take a photo”, plus that’s more robust than a £1300 iP 13 Pro!!)
Buy yourself some foam or fur windscreens for better audio and do not filter the audio when you record, do it in post.

I think that the charging case must be able to charge the devices without being plugged in. It sent me off for a moment.

most likely not. I haven’t been able to get any usb-c mic’s to work with the media mod.

Thanks for great video. To iPhone does it recited in MIXED MONO or Stereo? Also, have you tried the USB C version with the Insta360 OneX 2? Does it work with that and direct USB C connection. I have RWG2 and Ulanzi 360 Mount and cable. But that is too much of a pain . This would seem FANTASTIC for OneX 2 if it just direct plugged in and worked. Hello. Super review. Question: i want to use this as a third source for Weddings, example...the priest at ceremony. And want to put my phone on airplane mode in my pocket and use it to record only audio and them sync it. Is this possible?
yea thats totally possible. i would maybe recommend leaving the phone somewhere closer to the mic... mainly because if it in your pocket you might get some interference
@@DannyBlack yes. The maximum distance i always am at is 3 meters maximum..so I guess there won't be a lot of interefence.
Too bad you don’t have the USB C connector to try connecting to the Hero 10.

Yes phone only. Maybe certain usbc cameras (action 2) and it should work on a computer (with usbc version)
