According to a 2013 Cochrane Report and a 2020 systematic review and meta-analysis APM significantly reduces pain and trauma when practiced a few times a week after the 35 week. It is a much more common and well accepted practice outside the United States and would be helpful to many women here.

If there was 3rd degree tearing with baby #1 will that be a weak spot when giving birth to baby #2 and possible re-tear where it had been stitched?
