    How does it compare to Ruby and J2k? In Pop, sweet spot and Power

    I'd love your thoughts about what paddles are good for tennis players (probably NTRP 3.5/4.0) who play pickleball mainly during the winter. Good video as always.

    This specific paddle has last year's tech at a hefty $300 price tag. The J2K is the better paddle.

      Selkirk’s warranty, customer service and quality control are better. Honolulu’s starting to fall off with issues with inconsistent build quality. If the Vanguard Pro’s price weren’t so high it’d be a clear winner.

      Is this softer than the Ronbus R2?

    Luca, would also like to know how the Selkirk Vanguard Pro compares to the Ruby

    Great review as always! The sweet spot sounds amazing. Only thing I'm not liking is the price.

    Best reviewer in the game, no one else has a better feel for paddles. 🐐 I’m curious man, between this paddle, the amped pro air, and vanguard control, which do you fell has the best “feel” for the ball?

    Why do you slice volley your backhands vs. rolling it with topspin?

    Sweet spot is large with a 5.65 swing weight??

    How does it compare to the CRBN 1x 16mm. Power and Spin

    Is the handle a true 5.5 or since the face is longer is the handle more like the Luxx invicta handle?

    I agree with this review. Really like the control and sweet spot even more than the Luxx.

    16mm and 4 face layers under 8oz??? Are the materials USA made? Looking forward to hear what the 007 has to offer.

      I would assume they are as the do stay pretty strict to that USA made label but I don't actually know for sure.

    What would be the most similar feel to the Hyperion C2 but an upgrade? I can't get the same connection to the ball with the Gen 3 Joolas. I miss having Carbon Charged pop near the net.

      @RacketsandRunnersPickleball  18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yeah totally fair. You could try something with a Kevlar top sheet and a similar shape.

    • @Flying_Family
      @Flying_Family 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Kevlar will give good pop and feel for the ball? Do you think Kevlar would be a better fit than 18k?

      We haven't brought them in but we've been watching Maverix for a while now so I'll talk to my buyer!

    Great reviews, and you're spot on as far as the Shapeshifter. if you had to pick between the 2 , which would you put in tournament bag?

    • @Coach_A22
      @Coach_A22 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      My name is not Luca, but I would take a weighted up Shapeshifter (8.8 ozs) into a tournament over this paddle. Unbelievable power at this weight, high spin, mostly, outstanding control. Control equals tremendous capability to drop, dink, reset, and place the ball. Also works great for singles!

    • @86309
      @86309 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Coach_A22 ive been playing with my Shapeshifter weighted at the 4/8 and on the throat at 8.6 oz. I love it other than under pressure in transition is sometimes ejects the ball faster and higher than what I expect, Like Luca said when the fiberglass gets into it, it livens up , so my resets are usually good, but always playing against Gearboxes sometimes the paddle really surprises me.

    hi, can review HEAD Radical Nite 2024 Pickleball Paddle? is this the S tier paddle?

    • @RacketsandRunnersPickleball
      @RacketsandRunnersPickleball  18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I haven't tested it yet but probably not S-Tier from what I can tell on the spec sheet.

    $230 usd vs a Neonic Force for $89 usd🤔 i might not be good at math or maybe the force isnt the right comparison but unless they has a guarantee of me winning a tournament that pays out $460 usd why would i buy this paddle?

    • @kabob21
      @kabob21 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Neonic Force is a different playing paddle. I used to have one and it’s kind of been left behind except on price. Sweet spot isn’t great, feel is just ok, power is just ok, a little too head heavy balance, grip isn’t long enough for comfortable 2-handed backhands. It’s a good paddle for beginners but has its limitations against better all-court paddles in the $130-$190 range.

    I’m going stop watching these channels that can’t seem to find the time to answer their viewers questions. Good luck talking to yourself
