Hello..It should be the same..what changes is if you have a rear door open with foot sensor....sensor has to be repositioned a bit.. that's all I'm aware that's different...hope this helps...👍
I would guess 1-2 because of where you have to cut the OEM one in . mine doesn't have any rubbing or clearance problems but the OEM would be even higher
this is a very nice install job. clean and tidy. To be fair to the $1500 quote from your Toyota dealer, that would include the towing wiring harness (for trailer lights and brakes), and the OEM hitch the dealer would install sits a bit higher in the bumper. the benefit of the OEM hitch is that it doesn't reduce the departure angle of the rear bumper (meaning the hitch won't scrape on the ground when off-roading), but the install does require removal of the rear bumper and maybe some other body panels. It's a ton more work. The hitch install of this video is a nice compromise. Barely hangs down at all, and MUCH easier to install (but no electrical wiring connections, so not for towing a trailer with lights and brakes).
Is the plastic piece you cut for the hitch to pop out is that whole plastic Piece One Piece or is it connected to the bumper is it part of the bumper or is it one big long piece of plastic that you cut out the chunk of please let me know thank you great job

So the height you have how much higher would oem would be from your ecohitch

It looks like the factory tow bracket to the right of the hitch was not on your vehicle but if you have one, it would need to be removed.
