  • The debt repayment policy of Jamaica demands urgent attention. The people are repeatedly told that the debt is falling, but according to figures released by the World Bank, nothing could be further from the truth. According to the World Bank, in 2013, Jamaica owed almost US$13b, but at the end of 2022, the country owed almost US$18b. So, the debt that we're continuously told is going down rose 40%. However, according to data from the Ministry of Finance, over this 10-year period, Jamaica spent around a mammoth US$22b servicing the debt! So, I am calling for clarification from the government.
The truth is that the country is not managed for the people but for investors.
One of the most egregious and nefarious actions is giving away our bauxite. There needs to be an immediate investigation, so I started this petition: chng.it/dMHQFY....
Petitions are invariably ignored, so we need this to go viral. We need international attention to put government mismanagement under the microscope. So please sign and circulate it.

Perfect Dr. John Lennon however the audio needs a little better enhancement. Keep the fire blazing under the present government. Please directly attack the Minister of Mining and Energy regarding a lack of development in Hydropower that would empower the nation to reduce its Energy cost and stimulate manufacturing resulting in more potential of value adding products. Also attack the inability of the present Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade for not being Visionary in working with the Mining and Energy Minister in helping to promote how this can benefit Foreign Investors. Jamaica is a land of many resources and we cannot meet our debt or have an enduring plan to reduce or imports??!! SHAME
