Sadly a true sequel to Soul Eater is unlikely, Atsushi Ohkubo announced after wrapping up Fire Force that it would be his last manga. Unless he changes his mind the most fans of his series can hope for is a Soul Eater reboot, a third season of Fire Force, or an approved spin-off by another mangaka.
I think he might just be retarding from drawing Mangas cus at the end of firforce it says the next thing was soul world. Sosome people think he may be weighing somthing, but so one elce may do the art

@@lovablelillypup2499 Sid is still alive and medusa is referenced to be the nurse. its common knowledge that this is more a prequel as the witch girl, lantern girl, kid, liz and patty are not with their respective partners yet as neirher have either known each other long enough or simply arent good enough friends to conaider yet.

@@lovablelillypup2499 NOT Largely exists because Ohkubo was still fairly inexperienced as a writer when he was writing Soul Eater - and when he was wrapping it up, he felt like he could do a lot better of a job writing the start of Soul Eater with the experience he had by the end of the series. So he introduced the NOT characters in the closing chapters of Soul Eater - then proceeded to write the beginning to Soul Eater as he would write it now. Explains things in more detail, sets up some "foreshadowing" and fixes a couple errors. Technically NOT would take place after the character spotlight stories (anime episodes 1 - 3 ) but before the main plot of Soul Eater starts (episode 4) - though this doesn't have to fit in perfectly, because again - part of the reason NOT exist is to fix the things he didn't like how he handled them in the opening chapters of Soul Eater
