My dad was a body man and when I was young would not watch him repair stuff and just go in my room and listen to music and play guitar. When the first big repair job came and it was $600 ($1235 in today’s money), I went and bought a Haynes manual. I consulted my father who had a bunch of tools at home and not just at the shop. I also had him to guide me even though he wasn’t a mechanic. I never looked back and here I am decades later getting old and still doing as much as I can. The more technology the more barriers to jump. I’ve had all the surprise difficulties that make a 4 hour job last days. You have to wait for the next weekend to continue many times.

Thank you so much for sharing! If you had turned out to be Jimmy Page, that guitar playing wouldn't seem a bad idea! 🤣 That's so great that your dad helped you. My dad wasn't handy but was great at many other things. I am just trying to encourage people to go out there and try. Things are only getting more expensive and yet we have more options to learn from than ever before. Love that you found that motivation too! Thank you very much for the support! It's greatly appreciated.

Please... Get a MINI SPLIT unit for your garage. You can't think let alone work in that heat.....

Boy would I love to! 🥵 In due time. I have 4 kids in High School and am putting my wife through flight school so hopefully the budget allows for it sometime soon. Thank you so much for the support! It's greatly appreciated!
