After my wife's failed heart transplant, I have some of the worst images of my 55 years. She was supposed to have an 85% chance of surviving this, however she never regained consciousness and graft failure happened. After one week, I had to make the call to have her right leg amputated due to loss of circulation and infection, several days later, I then had to make the decision " to pull the plug" on her life support. This was someone I looked forward to being with for another 18 yrs. It's only been a couple months, but I still can't sleep and seeing her in a casket will haunt me forever.

Another haunting last photo was Robert Landsburg’s image of the lateral blast of Mt. St. Helens in the 1980 eruption. I've had recurring nightmares for years about me standing in my backyard and seeing a big passenger jet crash in the woods behind my house. I'm never in the plane in those dreams, but I remember in morbidly vivid detail seeing the plane go down in the trees and the fiery explosion that occurs after the impact. It's caused me to develop a slight fear of flying in planes, I can still fly on them, but I get super tense and nervous the whole flight. It's the reason why I never get on a plane by myself, even though I'm 28 years old, I always have to have a family member or close friend fly with me.

This is why I never took pictures of my sick loved ones that I knew wouldn’t be making it, it’s something that gives me terrible chills and emotional pain. From what I heard when my mother was getting surgery done I couldn’t be there because her sister said the image of her would be imprinted in my mind, I feel bad honestly I have this thought of her on the table with the tubes in her and her laying there it’s something I’ve never seen but I think of almost every night my heart goes out to anyone that has lost a loved one because those things cause a pain that sometimes won’t ever be 100% healed just time will make it easier to deal with, Rest In Peace to my mother and father I miss them both very much
Edit: but we had one image of my father who was fighting cancer he was still strong and he shaved his head bald and he had thick rimmed glasses he honestly looked like Walter White from breaking bad I still watch the show to this day in memory of him because that’s the closest to seeing him that alive but he never sold meth he just was an amazing mad that loved and cared for his family but damn if he didn’t look like Walter it gives me chills seeing the image still, I still have the shirt he wore in that picture “Old guys rule” I still wear it to this day

The part about the tsunami photo that interests me the most and keeps me coming back is one that barely anyone talks about. The people in the photo appear to be going about their normal lives even though a giant wave is in front of them, meaning this photo was likely taken JUST before they reacted. It's really eerie how most of the people in the photo haven't even had their brain process what's in front of them and appear to act as if nothing as wrong, mixed with the people who have just noticed it and are running for their lives.

There's also a crash in Mexico City that involved the same aircraft at the same year. (Western Airlines Flight 2605) and the Concorde crash (Air France Flight 4560 I think) is also caused by the DC-10. A piece from the aircraft falls from the runway while taking off. And when the Concorde was about to take off, the piece hit the engine, causing it to burst into flames. And the DC-10 was a Continental Airlines DC-10. Worked a job that took full advantage of me. Almost worked me to death. Insane long hours, and not paying me right for overtime. 1 night body collapsed from work exhaustion. After waking up the next day feeling the way I did. I knew I had to change my work situation. Damn company tried to ghost on me. Had to take them to the labor board. Company tried to use scare tactics as well. With the overwhelming evidence I had against them. There was nothing they could do. They lost their business licenses and got fined a ton of money. Its definitely good to know what your work rights are. Always get everything in writing as well.

    Hey there mate,
I very rarely make comments on TH-cam. But after I watched this video I just had to. So many videos are on similar topics to yours, however they give you the number of deaths and injuries and then just go straight on to the next video. By you ending each segment by saying rest in peace to the (number of people lost) and saying passed away shows that you’ve got a lot of respect for life and for people which is an awesome thing to have
    Cheers,

You could put the: kaback forest katastrofy, in Polish its " Katastrofa w lesie kabackim ". Its a katastrofy about plane that crashed in forest. The pilots last words were " Dobranoc dowidzenia, cześć giniemy " wich in english means " Goodnight goodbye, hi we're dying " Everyone in crash died. Resulting the biggest katastrofy in Polish airlines. You can search up the black box ( i think ) recording were they say that. You can hear the words and crash. And a siren like auuarrr!! Auuarrr!. I also have sensitive hearing, so everything is about 1.5 or 2x louder then anyone else so it's even worse for me. But the worst part is that you never know when it could glitch or there's a test or.. Theres an actual fire. And that's why I'm terrified of unfamiliar noises/sounds, fire and my house burning down, especially my pets, I don't want them to burn!

    1) the picture you show for the first one is not his final picture, there's a final picture taken closer to when he made the mayday call and on that picture you could clearly see that he was not ok in the slightest.
    2) the picture for the boxing day tsunami is actually a still frame from a tourist's homemovie video, you're likely to see clips from this video atleast once in any documentary pieces about the boxing day tsunami.

And there's also a picture showing the plane going down rapidly with a small smoke from it's tail. There's also a similar crash from 1978 (PSA Flight 182) this time, in San Diego. The Boeing B727 was just approaching to San Diego Airport until a Cessna 172 or Cessna 152 appeared and collided mid-air. The plane lost it's control and the right wing bursts into flames. I watched the "Miracle of Sioux Falls" live on TV (United Flight 232). I wasn't old enough to appreciate the level of effort that surviving at all, much less saving most of the passengers, that went into it. Much like 1985's tragedy of Japan Air Lines flight 123, the only control available was differential thrust of the engines. Fortunately, the lessons learned have saved untold lives and led to the development of hydraulic "fuses" that prevent loss of all systems in the event of damage, more redundancy, better inspection methods, better crew resource management (CRM), and a serious look at the safety risks posed by "lap children" which were plentiful as children were allowed to travel on this day for $1 with a regular adult fare. All 4 members of the flight crew went on to have full careers, and the last of them passed away a few years back. Those men were great pilots, may they and all those lost rest in peace. Dennis Fitch was not supposed to be in the cockpit, he offered his services as the senior DC-10 training captain for United when the engine blew and the plane lost flight controls. He was just catching a ride that day. Despite his only restraint being diving behind a bulkhead at the last moment before impact, he survived.

The Sioux City Iowa crash killed a lot of lap children and infants because, at the time, the safety procedure was to put them under the seat in front of the parent because it was thought that it would be safer. Sadly, this was not the case and many parents would tragically outlive their babies after this flight. This crash led to the safety procedures now to fold yourself around your baby or small child in the crash position.

There's also a crash that is much more tragic than United 232, and it's 1977 Tenerife Airport Disaster. On March 27 1977, a KLM B747 & Pan Am B747 was about to land in a airport. But there was a bombing so they landed in a different airport. They landed at North Tenerife Airport and waited for few hours till the airport is clear. After that, they started to taxi to the runway. But there was a problem. When they were about to line up, there was some very heavy fog that was in the airport. The KLM was the first one to enter the runway. Few minutes later, Pan Am. There were 2 planes at the same runway at the time. The KLM turn around and ready for take off. But the Pan Am is still in the runway. The KLM was going full throttle.. And yet, the Pan Am plane sees the KLM plane. The Pan Am plane tried to go full throttle and goes to the grass. While the KLM was trying to take off. But it was already too late...
The B747 collided with a another B747. There were 583 fatalities & 61 survivors. It was the worst aviation disaster in history.

I watched the documentary of the Sioux City crash. The pilots plus a passenger who I believe was a pilot himself or flight engineer who was off on a trip controlled the plane by constantly alternative thrust in the remaining two engines as engine three which was the engine on the tail had exploded rupturing the hydraulic lines in the tail which leaked all the hydraulic fluid available in the plane rendering the plane uncontrollable by normal means. They landed the plane using the plane's erratic climbing and falling motions since the situation left them without flaps, ailerons, rudder or even hydraulic action in the landing gears which meant they had to use gravity to drop the gears and they only had one shot at landing. The plane had touched down but it wasn't straight on the runway so it ran off the side and the plane pretty much flipped several times separating into three parts and catching on fire.
