    Where do you guys find these Bosch curves ? Id love to get a 123 Tune+ for my old Volvo but I can't find the curves...

      Many times, you can find the curve in the original manual of the vehicle. Also there are classic "how to repair/maintenance" books available which also contain information about the distributor and the timing with curves.

    Do you provide some kind of curves library for given car makes and models?

    • @123ignitionchannel
      @123ignitionchannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As there are a lot of makes/types of engines, we do not have a library with ready-made curve files. However, you can create your own with this video tutorial. The curve can be from your car manual, a car forum or based on the curve table of a 123 Switch product on our website. Below the 123 Switch version, for example the 123\VW-4-R-V, you can find the curve table.

    what does output from the terminal button mean when the engine is running ?

    • @123ignitionchannel
      @123ignitionchannel  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, do you mean the Terminal tab between all other tabs on the bottom of the app? The terminal is for debugging, purely for us. Normally you will not see it. If you want to hide it: go to the dashboard and tap (at least) 5 times on the digital clock (time).

    Can I use that app on a phone/tablet with a USB cable or does it only work with Bluetooth?

    • @123ignitionchannel

      Hi Frank,
      The 123\Tune model works with USB and PC software, the 123\Tune+ is the Bluetooth version (no USB) and works with the app.

    Please remove the loud music track, as it out-competes the important information being presented. Thanks!

    Hi, Im not at seal level, but most of the time at about 600m above? How do I calculate that? Thanks.

    • @123ignitionchannel
      @123ignitionchannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, you can just convert the curve as in the example like you are at sea level. After the conversion, you have the curve in absolute pressure. The nice thing is that the 123 measures absolute pressure.

    The vacuumcurve. Why is point 2 10 degrees @ 25kPa en not 5 degrees?

    • @123ignitionchannel
      @123ignitionchannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      HI Benny, that is because the graphs are commonly given in distributor RPM and distributor advance (camshaft), while the 123 works with crankshaft RPM and crankshaft advance. This means that for the centrifugal curve, you need to multiply the RPM and advance values by 2. For the vacuum curve, you also need to multiply the advance by 2.

    what if i have like 1,5 bar boost pressure,do this device understand that?

    • @123ignitionchannel
      @123ignitionchannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, the 123 can measure from 0 kPa to 200kPa, wich is 0 bar to 2 bar absolute pressure. All points entered below 100kPa (1 bar) are advance points, all points above 1 bar are retard points.
