You really helped me with one myth that I believed all of my life, in that if not all of the tap root is removed, the remaining root will just grow again, which is why I simply gave up on physically removing weeds thinking it's just a waste of time and energy!
I fell into a major depression last summer after having to say goodbye to the best girl ever. Her name was Icy, she was my miniature pinscher. i let my flower beds completely go, I just didn't care. Now im extremely overwhelmed trying to remove it all. They are ao deep rooter and everywhere

the advantage of leaving the tap root in is the plant will grow again, bringing more nutrients up from below for you to compost.
