I started showing these videos to my 7 year old before she sleeps. In between we stop and talk about each of the things being taught in these video. I felt it's a really good way to keep mother daughter communication and bond to educate them. 🙏 it helps me and her as well.

If you ever find yourself worried, ask yourself; can i solve the problem? If the answer is yes, then you dont need to be worried, if the answer is no, there is no need to be worried. Remember, you never need to be worried❤

I cannot thank you enough for taking your precious time to share the Buddhist way of life with us. I was going through the worst phase of my life and suddenly came across this channel. It changed my life entirely. I have made a habit of watching this channel multiple times a day and that brings me inner peace, something I had never felt before. I have been trying to follow monk habits and I can see the change in me. Your videos helped me deal with pain without being angry and hurtful. It taught me how to forgive without being resentful. I have nothing but my sincere gratitude.

Controlling your mind is not easy thing to do especially if you are terribly mad. Doing somethibg else like watching your favorite drama, doing art work, hugging your pet may help you shift your thoughts and feelings, from being mad to being calm. Thank you gor your teachibg, well appreciated❤❤❤

I'm glad you said that, because I can't seem to calm down at times. I just re-run my big failures in my mind and then my descent seems inevitable. I don't doubt that I have bad karma. To cope I often favour indulging in distractions such as watching The Dodo clips about rescuing shelter dogs destined for enuthanasia. Do what you've got to do etc.

I do not recall where I heard it, but when you catch yourself thinking a negative thought, immediately say out loud or in your mind, “cancel, cancel” and them smile to let your subconscious know that you didn’t mean that negative thought. It really works. In fact, I thought it to my daughter and grandchildren and at first they laughed at me but I catch them doing it all the time 😊 because it works.

How we can gradually train our mind
    1. Shift your thought pattern to a wholesome thought
    2. Think about the disadvantages of thinking negative thoughts
    3. Pay no attention for the negative thought
    4. Relax your thought process
    5. Crush your thought process with awareness (only after with practice)

Till now I hadn't found another place to go so I have gained some more time, before deterioration🌼⌚🌾

    1. Aware of our current thinking, what is it ?
    2. Shift negative thinking to peaceful thinking
    3. If can not do #2. Think about the disadvantages of negative thinking
    4. If #3 not work. Pay no attention and no mind to negative thinking. Like a father not react to falling child in case of no damage to child
    5. If #4 not work. Relax your thinking process. Loving kindness, compassion to current thinking process, do not try to distract
    6. If #5 not work. Final step not recommend for everyone. Crush your thought with awareness -> I will not think about this anymore .
-->>> Do all Things in order, do not jump to final solution immediately !. Wish every one a joyful path

I'm so glad I found this. I have been actively acknowledging rough thoughts but at the same time determining where it actually comes from. Like what brought on such strong thoughts in the first place. Most of the time I can't work out why they suddenly appear but I do make a conscious effort to stomp on it the moment I realise its in my head.
Your tips are very helpful and though I don't know much about Buddhism I do appreciate helpful mindfulness.

    2) Shift my thought pattern into something wholesome. Think of a past experience that makes me peaceful.
    3) Think about the disadvantages of negative thoughts, such as hurting myself and others.
    4) Pay no mind, Pay no attention. Don't give attention to that thought.
    5) Relax your thought process. Think of love, compassionsion, gratefulness.
    6) Only if 2-5 doesn't work, use this: Crush your thoughts with awareness. This should not be done by everyone.

Bhante, in Vipassana practice, it's understanding and befriending the mind, knowing the positivity and negativity when thoughts arise and letting go these knowings especially the negative ones, knowing that it doesn't bring any benefit to our spiritual development. Controlling (suppress?) will ends up the thoughts in dormant state which given a trigger, it may arises with lethal power. Please enlighten me/
