    I ran this for about 12 weeks when it was in beta.
    I made really good gains on 8-12 rep maxes only running the hypertrophy blocks, but damn it was a lot of work. Had me doing things like 7 sets of 10 deadlifts, the first set being a 10 Rpe with back off sets.
    I had to take a break for a while, but now I’m back on it. Only a week in, but looks like it’s come a long way and there way more options and improvements. The app is super easy to use and has everything laid out very nicely.
    I really like Chads style of programming with the weeks ramping up in difficulty quickly but deloading fairly often. The first weeks are nice and easy, making me want more, but those last weeks in the blocks are brutal and I need the deload badly.
    The program overview is nice too. Gives a nice clear look at long term goals.

    WOw, it seems to be a really well-developed App with very useful and smart features. Great review and very good job to JTS

    JTS views high bar as a great developmental/hypertrophy exercise for the low bar squat. You are in a hypertrophy phase so that is the priority at this point in time.

      @@Ratchetti yeah it looks good. Company is by Stefi Cohen they have powerlifting, Performace (includes olympic lifting), HWPO (Matt Fraser’s program) build (bodybuilding) program. It is pricey at $40/month though

    Thank you and merry Christmas 🙏. One question: what’s the difference between powerlifting and powerbuilding towards the last 10 weeks leading up to a meet?

    Hi Sir, I started cardio, HIIT & weights 1.5 years ago progressively. Only been doing weights for 6 months. Doing it at home with dumbbells. Used to have an instructor but he started a new job with a gym. I have gone from 125kg to 89kg but am no longer losing weight. Want to find a structured approach for home exercise to start losing again.
    Also, I am not sure if I am a beginner or intermediate. I have been doing weights, but do not know really why I do what I do... What program should I get if my goal is to lose weight? And do not want to go to a gym.

      maybe your metabolism slowed down, Derek has a video about this th-cam.com/video/2PQvCjEt7wY/w-d-xo.html
      to put it short: you need to gradually increase your metabolism by slowly increasing calorie intake (reverse dieting)

    Considering this is more focused on power building/lifting, would it be better than Eugene teos app for building strength.

      If your primary goal is strength, then yes.

    I have zero idea what to do in the gym. An app would be perfect to fix that but this app probably isn’t for me due to it being gear’d towards body building and power lifting. Do you recommend a strength training app? I’m just looking to lose some weight and getting stronger. Thanks in advance

      @LiftingExplained  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Highly recommend either Hypertrophy Coach or Ganbaru Method from Eugene Teo. You'll learn a lit from either, but probably more from Hypertrophy Coach. It is mainly geared towards bodybuilding, but is still good for beginners. If you think it's too much for what you're looking for then Renaissance Periodization's TH-cam channel is also a great resource for info.

    As a wise man once said:
    Do you even lift?

    • @LiftingExplained
      @LiftingExplained  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No wise man actually said this, instead they don't judge people on the way they look and are open to listening to others and base it on their background and experience. In short, they have critical thinking skills, something that you don't have.
