- Hiked in to a secluded beach, for an overnight camping trip! Fishing, spear-diving and foraging for an epic catch and cook. We harvested various types of seafood including octopus, goatfish, sea urchin, rock crab and opihi limpet shells. Truly grateful for this way of life....lucky to live in Hawaii!

Yo I see your a experienced diver can I ask you why don’t you get spooked or scared of the moray eels??😂 whenever I dive I’m scared of them so much I feel like they might attack me. I would rather swim with sharks then eels, any tips to get rid of this fear?
I think it’s a very rational fear to have, they can be dangerous! I just try to always be on the lookout for them or where they could potentially be hiding. Avoid sticking your hand/feet in these places, they may mistake it for a fish/octopus and take a bite 💥
