hi! it might be a bit late but if you don’t have a C# trill you can finger high g and trill the Ab key along with both trill keys. this was the standard fingering before C# trills were common :)
sooooo stacatto! why so stacatto? the pianist especially is playing as if everything is stacatto by default, unless specifically directed otherwise. my wife and I are playing this.

Hmm..I rather think that it is very articulated instead of thinking, 'too stacatto.' And, the piano parts doesn't much have legato marking, either, which means the composer wanted the accompanist ve articulated! 😉
The most commonly found version of this is rewritten by Louis Moyse, who purposefully leaves the articulation markings ambiguous at the triplet parts so the player can choose between legato and staccato
